Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you.” 1 Peter: 4:12-19

Church, if you are not already seeing it, you will. A divine change IS coming…

It is evident in the atmosphere, in the weather and in the influx of natural disasters taking place all over the world. It is evident in the increase of evil whose affect is a deadly plague to mankind. This divine change is transition that is coming and is already here. It will effect everything in the world. It will effect the people, businesses, marriages, families and you. This change will create a perfect storm of events that have been ordained by God. This perfect storm will usher in all that must take place in these last days. It is a revelation of prophecy that has been predicted for centuries by the prophets of old and it includes God’s judgement of man.  The Church is not exempt from this change for God is also transitioning His people.

Time is winding down and there is much to do before the imminent return of Jesus Christ, our Lord. God is quickening, correcting, positioning and resurrecting His people. The players are being strategically placed much like pieces on a chessboard. God is stabilizing some and moving others. He is reviving what was dead and destroying what was thought indestructible. He is opening and closing doors. He is removing the old and introducing the new. He is planting, growing and uprooting. He is birthing, stretching and maturing. God is shaking everything and everyone and what can be shaken will be shaken to the point of destruction. If you are not standing firm on the strong foundation of the rock, who is Jesus Christ, you will surely fall.

As uncomfortable as these changes will be, it is a necessary part of God’s plan. Seek God for connection, direction and introspection. This is truly a divine move of God! The audible voice of God asks, “Are you ready?” Make haste and get ready for the shaking that is upon us now so that you will come through it all victoriously.

As I slept early in the morning on August 5, 2017, I heard the audible voice of the Lord say to me, “Are you ready?” Then I felt a gentle touch on my shoulder awakening me from my sleep. After I awakened, I thought about what I had heard and I responded to the Lord, “Ready for what?” I heard nothing more, so I got out of bed and recorded this event in my journal and didn’t think much more about it. This morning as I stood in the bathroom preparing for church, I heard the Lord remind me of that morning and I heard Him say again, “Are you ready?” This time, He explained to me that everything and everyone He has allowed into my life and everything I have experienced – from birth up to today has been for the purpose of equipping me for such a time as this, and yet He wanted to know if I was ready – ready to receive what He has prepared for me. As I honestly gave some thought to the question, I was reminded of all the dreams and visions He has shown me over the years, all the promises I have stood on and His call that is on my life, and I had to be honest with Him. So I responded, “No, Lord, I am not ready…” But quickly I added, “However, I will be – very shortly.”

This morning the Lord has also told me to share this message with you as well. Believers in Jesus Christ, “Are you ready?” You know God has a divine purpose for your life. He has spoken to you and He has shown you what He desires for you. He has given you a vision. He has prepared places for you to go, people for you to meet and a message for you to deliver. But, He will not force Himself or His will on you. You must be ready to receive it. Are you truly ready? If not, there is no time like today to begin the process of getting ready. Do it now! God will not give what you are not ready to receive. Let’s get it together people.

‘Kavenah’ is a Hebrew word that means “to pray with focus, intention and meaning.” It is a deeper, more purposed kind of prayer that is spoken with total disregard of our own self desires. Only God can give us this ‘kavenah’ and He can only give it when we seek Him with all our heart.

It is desire that prods our will to pray. We say the words and many of us even understand that there is power in the words we speak yet we often fail to realize that the picture is even bigger than that. When we pray, doors open and our future enters in. It is our future that God allows to miraculously take shape as the result of our fervent prayers. Likewise, you must keep in mind that even if you don’t pray, it is your future that will still inevitably enter through that door – but it will be a future of a different kind.

Through the miracle of prayer, our life can become like a beautiful, seamless garment that has been fashioned by God IF we pray with the mindset of exchanging our will for His wisdom. The unique design of prayer is a mystery, indeed… God seeks out a person who will pray for the purpose of His good and perfect will to come to past and if He does not find that person, He will not act. “I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one. Therefore I have poured out My indignation on them; I have consumed them with the fire of My wrath; and I have recompensed their deeds on their own heads,” says the Lord God.” Ezekiel 22:30-31

God uses our prayers as justification to take action over our will and make our will His will. Prayer is a privilege and is man’s greatest distinction above all God’s creation. It is spiritual warfare in the form of the spoken word. It ushers Light into darkness and destroys evil. Satan will always try to stop and discourage prayer that will implement the divine and holy spiritual world of God’s kingdom into the demonically charged, sinful natural world we live in. Every prayer translates into supernatural power. It is an invisible force that affects, impacts and changes what we cannot see in the natural. The force behind prayer is not seen in how much we pray neither is it evident in vain repetition of words but is manifest in accordance with God’s principles. Prayer does not alter what God has determined for He is sovereign. Prayer is meant to achieve what God has already ordained and purposed. On the other hand, prayerlessness in our lives does effect change. For God will allow many of His resolutions to be placed on hold due to lack of prayerful cooperation from man. God will let them sit idle until someone is moved to pray and then God’s plans are activated. God will not force the will of man.

We often think of prayer as an outlet for what we need. What we do not recognize is that the highest form of prayer is not in those prayers that say, “help me” but in those prayers that ask God to fulfill His desires instead of ours. How privileged and blessed we are to be a true child of God for He allows us to actually touch His omniscient Spirit through our prayers. This does not mean we should not to pray for the desires of our hearts. God tells us to do this. However, we first need to understand the reasons for and the principles behind our prayers so that when we pray, we will pray with the holy, miraculous and powerful unknown in mind. It is not important for us to know the full impact of our prayers but we do need to believe that our prayers will have full impact. Prayer is the result of intimacy with God therefore men (and women) who are intimate with God will never be intimidated by men. Prayer is the core of our spiritual living. It is an act of self-purification that starts with the isolation of our soul (our mind, will and emotions). True prayer will tap into the presence of the only One who holds the answers to all the questions in life – the ones we think to ask as well as those we have never even thought of. Now, Believers of Jesus Christ, know and act on the faith that you have the power to pray with divine intention.

A few months ago, I prayed that God would give me the strength to WALK through the deep valley experience He is allowing in my life at this time. Afterwards, I fell asleep and in a dream I saw an angel appear at the foot of my bed. He was tall, thin and full of light. He never looked up at me instead he began to massage my feet and ankles. I could feel a tingling sensation in the areas where he touched me. I then asked the angel if he had come to take me away but he did not answer. He only continued to massage my feet and ankles. Then I awoke. I asked the Lord what had just happened and He reminded me of my prayer. Through the angel, God had given a Heavenly impartation of the strength I would need to endure.

To Believers who are also going through deep valley experiences and painful trials, I want to encourage you. Remember that you are not alone. Jesus is with you and if you ask Him, He will surely administer comfort and give you EVERYTHING you need to successfully make it through this trying time. Be strong and do not turn to the left or to the right. Stay focused on Him and all He is doing in your life. Heed the lessons He is teaching you. Walk steadfast on that straight and narrow path for this too shall pass. Your mountain top experience is right around the corner.

Good character supersedes the spiritual gifts we receive from God. Our gifts can weaken in difficult times whereas our character always strengthens in difficult times. Good character gives validity to our gifts and therefore strengthens our testimony, whereas a lack of character invalidates it all. Beloved, STUDY your gift however, WORK on your character. Our character affects our personalities, our marriages, our parenting, our finances, our businesses, our jobs and every ethical aspect of our life. Good character is a godly virtue that you MUST have. It is the most valuable attribute you can obtain. It is hard to get and yet easy to lose.

God allows painful struggles and hard tests in our lives. For it is the struggles and the tests that develop our character. We cannot be promoted to the next level of blessing until we successfully make it through the struggles and pass the tests. Think about it… Joseph would never have made it to second command in Egypt without going through everything he experienced with Pottifer’s wife. Through that experience, God was able to humble and purge Joseph of everything (pride, arrogance, bitterness, hatred, etc.) that would have kept him from doing what God had created him to do. God uses the weaknesses of others to reveal our own weaknesses then He continuously checks to see if we are ready to walk in the promise of promotion. We can use these opportunities to overcome these weaknesses or we can fail – both in our natural life and in our spiritual progression. Be mindful not to become bitter in the experience for ultimately, it is good for us. Unless God points to our faults and works them out of us, they will remain in us.

“Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you.” 1 Peter 4:12-14

We all have mountain and valley experiences. Yet to keep the things we go through in its proper perspective, we must remember that the higher the mountain top experience God has for us, the deeper the valley experience will be. In fact, you will find that the depth of your valley experience is directly proportionate to the height of the mountain experience God has for you. The longer the valley, the longer  will be your influence. The wider the valley, the broader will be your influence. Whether we are climbing to get to the top of the mountain or trailing along deep in the valley, we can be successful by walking it all out in Jesus’ name.

“The wise men, the astrologers, the magicians, and the soothsayers cannot declare…

But there is a God in Heaven who reveals secrets…”

Daniel 2:27-28

Dreams and visions are divine revelation from God. Through these supernatural forms of communication, God gives messages of guidance, direction and future details to His servants. As it was in the biblical days, God still speaks to His people.

As a follower of Jesus Christ, you should take all dreams and visions you receive very seriously. “God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, “Indeed you are a dead man because of the woman whom you have taken, for she is a man’s wife.” Genesis 20:3 (reference the story of Abraham and Sarah)

You should also know that dreams can even come from the devil – such as in nightmares and night terrors. All dreams and visions are under God’s control therefore if you are having these experiences, God is allowing it for a reason.

Journal the dreams and visions God gives you, pray about them, search the Bible concerning them. In time, the Holy Spirit will reveal the meaning to these riddles. Sometimes, God will give you an immediate interpretation to your dreams, but most often He wants you to seek Him and His word for its meaning. “It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.” Proverbs 25:2

It is very important that you understand that God, alone, is sovereign. What He chooses to reveal is not for the glory of man but for the sole purpose of bringing about His divine plan. “In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls upon men, while slumbering on their beds, then He (the Lord) opens the ears of men, and seals their instruction.”  Job 33:15-16

I have received dreams and visions from the Lord since I was a child. However, at that time I did not understand that it was God who was speaking to me. Therefore, I did not record my dreams until I was well into my adult years. These dreams, I now realize, tend to fall into categories.

I have listed below the categories of dreams I have personally experienced. However, this is not to exclude others. You will find that God will not be placed in a box. His ways of communicating with one may not be the way He communicates with others. His various forms of expression are limitless…

Life Dreams & Visions reveal God’s plans and purpose for your life. Through these dreams, God will speak to you and give you specific directions and guidance along the way. He may show you people you are destined to meet and places you are destined to go.

God revealed my call in a dream…

The night I prayed and asked God to confirm my call, He gave me a dream and showed me four large and beautifully ornate letters that spelled out the word: SEER.

Confirming Dreams & Visions are given to us to reveal where we are within the will of God. He will let you know if you have strayed from the path He has paved for you and through these messages, He will let you know how to get back on track. He will also let you know if He is pleased with you and your progress. God is not bothered by our desire to know where we stand with Him. Ask Him and He will reveal His heart to you.

God revealed to me in a dream that He was pleased with me…

During a particularly difficult time in my life, I struggled with where I was spiritually with God and I needed reassurance from Him that I was where He wanted me to be. I prayed and asked God if He was pleased with me. I was pleasantly surprised when He gave me a dream where I saw myself sitting with my legs crossed in a beautiful, lush green pasture on a bright and sunny day. I looked very much at peace. I was smiling and holding a large, shiny red apple in my lap. When I awoke, the Lord gave me an immediate interpretation. He told me I should be at peace for He was pleased with me and that I had good fruit…

Empowering Dreams & Visions give us the information we need to carry out a directive from the Lord. Sometimes God gives us a word to say or a job to do that can be very difficult to deliver in our own strength. However, when we hear God Himself direct ing us, we find the strength and courage, through His word, to do the hard thing.

God revealed to me in a dream that I was to confront a pastor about his sin…

God showed me that He was not pleased with a pastor whose church I was temporarily attending. The Lord revealed to me that the pastor had a controlling spirit. Then He showed me the face of at least one person in the church who was guilty of the sin of idolatry which I heard God describe as “pastor worship”. This was a small church that was not growing. The Lord told me to confront this pastor about his sin and the idolatrous sin that was taking place within the congregation. I was to inform him that God was not pleased and to warn him that God would not bless the church or grow the church unless he repented, turned from and corrected his sin and the sin of the congregation.

Reassuring Dreams & Visions remind us that God is a loving God who cares about what we care about. It is reassuring to know that He uses everything that happens to those who know and love Him and are called according to His purpose for their good. It is comforting to know that God has everything – and every one – under His control.

God has revealed to me through many dreams that I will see my “prodigal” child again…

There is a loved one in my life whom I have not seen in years. However, God, who is a caring, compassionate and merciful God, remembers us and the heartache we feel. God has shown me through many dreams that I will one day be united with my beloved child. I don’t always understand the answers to the ‘why’s’ of life, yet I know there is One who does. So I place all my trust in Him. It is He alone who can give us the peace we need to be still and wait on His timing for everything.

Correction Dreams & Visions are revealed to us for our good. God is our loving Father. And like all loving fathers, sometimes it is necessary for Him to correct His children. It is then that the Holy Spirit comes to us to teach, perfect and redirect us through dreams and visions. Through these messages, we are given better understanding of God’s word that in turn helps us to correct our behavior so that we will remain in right standing with God. The Holy Spirit’s correction restores to a place of blessing.

God revealed to me – through a divine visitation – that I had a stronghold that was stunting my spiritual growth…

About a year or so ago, I received a divine visitation from a Heavenly body that engulfed my bedroom with a bright, blinding light and the sound of a powerful whirlwind that increased in volume and intensity… You may read the account of this amazing experience by clicking the following link: A Visitation From Heaven Reveals A Stronghold. “And suddenly there came a sound from Heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.” Acts 2:2

Warning Dreams & Visions demonstrate God’s grace and mercy and through it all, His grace and mercy abounds… God promises to always be with us and never leave us. As He watches over His children, He is always directing us, providing forus  and protecting us. Many times His protection will come through dreams and visions of warnings that alert us to dangerous situations that are at hand and that are coming. He warns us of people who mean us harm, of circumstances that involve family members, and so on. If the warnings are for you, take heed. If the dreams concern others, God is either giving you direction concerning them or asking you to stand in the gap on their behalf and pray.

God revealed to me through a series of dreams that my parents would soon die…

A few years back, I lost both of my parents within ten months of each other. A few years prior to that, I received a series of repetitive dreams that disturbed me. Through these dreams, God warned me that one of my parents was destined to go to Hell. The content of each dream was different, however each dream always ended the same. I am happy to say that through prayer, God allowed some painful yet necessary circumstances to affect the lives of my parents. Through it all, the ending results led both of my parents to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior before they died. Thankfully, I believe I will see them again in Heaven.

Guidance Dreams & Visions from God are guaranteed to lead you in the right direction. Whereas making decisions based on your own selfish desires is guaranteed to lead you into a place you really don’t want to be. Consulting God, waiting for His response and then obeying Him as He guides you along the way is the only way to ensure you are receiving God’s best for you and God’s good and perfect will for your life.

God revealed to me in a dream warnings concerning a new opportunity that was soon to come my way…

I had a dream that I entered a building that had dead plants with spiderwebs on them right outside the door. After entering the building, I looked down and noticed I was barefoot. Immediately, I opened my purse and saw my favorite black sandals which I removed from my purse and placed them on my feet. I was then escorted into a room and took a seat in a chair on a platform area. Not long afterwards, I did in fact enter the building God showed me in the dream and I was offered a new job. By the dead plants I saw in the dream, God had warned me that there was death and witchcraft associated with that place. Me being barefoot in the dream and having shoes in my purse, God had also shown me that even though I would be unprepared for what was to come, He had equipped me with everything I would need to manage it all.

Cleansing Dreams & Visions wash us clean with the blood of Jesus. It is impossible to walk through an unclean place and come out unsoiled. In the natural, when we become dirty, we know where to go and what to do to become clean again. In dreams, the images of these places are often what we see when God is informing us that we need to become spiritually clean again. Dreams that show you in a bathroom taking a bath or a shower or even on the toilet are revealed to us for purification purposes. The Lord is showing us things in our life that need to be cleansed or flushed away.

God revealed to me in a dream that He was not pleased with my words…

I had a dream that I had planned to meet a group of friends at a restaurant. I arrived early and was eager to meet everyone however, once everyone arrived, I was more concerned with going to the bathroom to brush my teeth than I was eating with my friends at the restaurant. While in the bathroom, I dropped my purse and my personal belongings fell out all over the floor. I was trying to get to my friends, but instead had to take the time to gather my personal items from the floor. The Lord was showing me that He was not pleased with my words and that I should cleanse what was coming out of my mouth. He also showed me that if I did not heed His advice, it would prove to be personally embarrassing for me. It was after the dream that I heard the Lord say to me, “Bridle your tongue.” If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless.” James 1:26

Spiritual Warfare Dreams & Visions reveal a sobering fact of life that must not be ignored, especially for a follower of Jesus. It is very important that we understand the principles behind the who, what, why, how, when and where when it comes to spiritual warfare. True Christians are prime targets of demonic attacks. The Lord reveals to us what goes on in the spiritual realm through dreams and visions to uncover what is hidden, to prepare us for what is to come and to teach us how to fight victoriously.

God revealed to me through a dream that a close family member was a witch and had given themselves over to demon possession…

What I experienced was a demonstration of true spiritual warfare up front and personal. Through a dream, God unveiled a real-life family situation that forced me to accept and act on a reality that without this revelation would have found hard to believe. After confronting the family member, it was all confirmed to be true. Fortunately for me, for several years prior to all of this happening, God had been exposing me to, preparing me for and teaching me about spiritual warfare. He had also spoke to me in dreams informing me that I had been given the authority and the power to overcome the enemy that I would eventually have to fight.

Creative Dreams & Visions are self-expressions from God as He is the original and authentic Author life. He is the Author of all forms of art and creativity. When we look around us and see the beauty that is found in every color and form, it is impossible to ignore this fact. God often imparts amazing creativity through dreams that inspire us with ideas, poetry, song and art.

Through a dream, God revealed my poetry…

Several years ago, God revealed to me the idea for a poetic work that would derive from poems and psalms He had given me more than fifteen years ago. I entitled this now published work AUTHOR OF LIFE POETIC INSPIRATIONS: A DIVINELY INSPIRED POEM & PSALM COLLECTION.

Impartation Dreams & Visions are given by the Holy Spirit to impart a particular spiritual gift or empowerment.

Through a dream, I experienced an angel impartation…

Recently, after praying for the  strength and the peace I would need to walk through a very trying time in my life, I received a dream where an angel appeared and began to massage my feet and ankles. In the areas where he touched me, I felt a strong tingling sensation. I spoke to the angel yet he did not respond. He only continued to massage my feet and ankles and then I awoke.

Prophetic Dreams & Visions are forms of revelation given by God that reveal the future.

Among the prophetic dreams God has given me, He revealed to me this one. In an open vision, I was shown that God’s judgment will soon be poured out on the land through the destruction of earthquakes…

While watching television years ago, I saw a miraculous image superimposed over the natural image I was watching. A woman appeared to me and with a pointer stick in her hand and pointed to a board where I saw two columns of names. Each column listed approximately six to eight names of major cities in the United States that the woman said would be destroyed by catastrophic earthquakes that were soon to come. A day or so later, while eating in a restaurant with my husband, I alone felt the ground shake beneath my feet – twice.

Dreams are symbolically divine revelation given by God through images seen during the day or night. Dreams should always be tested.

Visions are literally divine revelation given by God through images or experiences that reveal a Heavenly perspective seen with the natural eye or in the mind’s eye during the day or night. Visions are received internally and externally (while awake). A vision may be one-dimensional like a photograph or three-dimensional. A vision may be superimposed over another image much like a double-exposure photograph. A vision may also be revealed like a movie that is playing before your eyes. These images may be silent or have sound.Visions, like dreams, should also always be tested.

Open visions dramatically reveal interactive divine revelation given by God. In an open vision, eyes are open and one is engaging in an experience that cannot be disturbed by the distractions taking place around them. In an open vision, you become a part of the experience and are given the ability to actually interact with what is taking place before you. In this type of vision one not only hears and sees, but may also be able to taste, feel or smell the experience.

To all the High Fashioned Models for Christ…

You, stepping high and looking quite fine,

The world is your runway as you keep in time.

All eyes are upon you – your beauty, your style.

You’re walking that walk and you’re flashing that smile.

As God gives you favor and doors open wide,

Be careful to guard against arrogant pride.

For the Lord has exalted many a man

And He’s humbled the same. See, it is all in His hand.

The path that you follow is not meant for all

As many are chosen but few have been called.

The enemy’s watching. He comes in disguise

With those who are waiting for your compromise.

An assignment’s been given and it fits only you.

His reflection upon you looks great from this view!

He’s standing beside you and cheering you on.

No greater reward has been placed there upon.

Walk straight down that path custom made for your feet

As the runways of life lead to many you’ll meet.

Keep love in your heart as they share different views.

Keep a smile on your face as you spread the good news!

You, who aspiring young ladies look to,

We’ll see who you are as we watch what they do.

You’ll be held to account for the actions you take.

Don’t cause them to stumble through decisions they make.

Highlight your secrets to life every day.

Teach them to love Him as you kneel to pray.

Tell them to ask God for boldness in word.

Then go share your witness so He will be heard.

Instead of the fashions and feign the world dons,

Reach for God’s Armor, be it first to put on.

As you model a temple that the Lord dwells within,

You’re modeling an image well covered from sin.

With grace and with poise, take His Shield in your hand.

Then position a faith that allows you to stand.

Let the Hat Of Salvation envelop your mind,

With the Sword Of The Spirit, it is sin you will bind.

Model that snug Belt of Truth ’round your waste

With the Breastplate of Righteousness there in its place.

Step high in those heels for the gospel of peace.

Pray to Him always. No, don’t ever cease.

As you pray for Believers, you pray for the saints.

In all, be forgiving. In all, no complaints.

Then your heart will be covered from Satan’s attacks,

From his lies and his devils for God’s got your back!

You, birthed in Zion, go conquer the world!

You’re a virtuous woman; you’re God’s ‘covered’ girl!

A High Fashioned Model for Christ you shall be.

So fashion an image – one worthy to see.

The world’s waiting for you – be bold, stand your ground.

Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus and never look down.

Take your place on life’s stage for His light on you shows.

Sachet into action – go ahead, strike a pose!

Then make way for Jesus, for He’s coming through

With designs to transform you and make you brand new.

Look up all you Fendis and Versaces, too.

You Guccis and Laurens, He’s high over you.

For He is the One who we call on to save

From our sin, from ourselves, and yes, even the grave.

There is none, great or small, who can dare make this claim.

So we humbly and reverently call on His name.

Take a bow, my Lord Jesus, for the honor is Yours.

We’re all here to praise You for God raised You. Encore!

May His Veil Be Upon You,

May His Grace Shine Down On You.

Written by R’chelle Cyrus-Hughes

The Lord has been speaking to me lately about a not so very popular subject… suffering. God is preparing His people for the tribulation that is coming into this world – a time that will bring with it much suffering for those who are faithfully following Jesus Christ. Yet Jesus tells us, even in this, we are to take heart for He has overcome the world. (John 16:33)

As a Believer, the Lord wants you to be encouraged. He wants you to remember that even in times of suffering, you have reasons to rejoice for it is written that we should “glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope.” Romans 5:3-4

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to His great mercy, He has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. (1 Peter 1:3)

God’s word prepares us for and warns us of what is to come. It clearly informs us that all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. Therefore, we should not be surprised when a fiery trial comes to test us. We should not act as if something strange is happening. God’s word further tells us that when we are persecuted on account of Jesus, we are considered blessed for this is evidence that the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon us. This is not the same kind of suffering that befalls us as the result of sin, such as murder or adultery. The suffering we encounter on account of Jesus is not a shameful suffering for it glorifies God. Sinful suffering does not benefit us, it destroys us. Whereas God causes all righteous suffering to work together for the good of those who are called according to His purpose.

We should remember that even though we will be afflicted, we are not destroyed and even though we may not understand everything that is happening to us, we are not to allow it to drive us to a point of despair for we have a hope – that is Jesus Christ – within us that sustains us until the Lord delivers us from it all. “And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.” 1 Peter 5:10

Child of God, you have been given the privilege to fellowship with God which is what you do when you engage in an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. It is an honor to suffer and be tested for His sake. In and of itself, that privilege alone would be enough but furthermore, God has blessed you to receive benefits on account of your righteous suffering and if your faith is genuine, you will come through it all complete and lacking nothing. “Count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.” James 1:2-4

Be encouraged my brothers and sisters. Though suffering must come, God will not allow you to be tempted beyond your ability. He will always provide a way out so that you will be able to endure it. Look for it. On the other hand, if you are not willing to carry the cross that has been handed to you, know that you will be rejected and considered not worthy of Him. Although suffering will bring pain, it will yield a peaceful fruit. “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in Heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.” Matthew 5:10-12

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

You, my friend, are not alone and we are not to walk this journey alone. It is our charge as Believers to bear one another’s burdens. In this, we are fulfilling the law of Christ. (Galatians 6:2) In the natural, suffering is not pleasant. However, in the spirit, it is good for us and the benefits are many. Granted, this is all a mystery. You will be tempted however, do not turn from it and do not despise it. “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?” Romans 8:35

Though we (Believers) are being killed all the day long and are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered, we shall resolve to continue on for His sake. Neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.  (Romans 8:35-39)

When you are temped to turn away from the cup of suffering that is handed to you, remember that God’s grace is sufficient and His power is made perfect in your weakness. (2 Corinthians 12:7-10) “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)

Those who suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in that name. To this, you have been called because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example so that you might follow in His steps, and those who endure it to the end will be saved.

A few weeks ago, in the wee hours of the morning, I awoke with excruciating pain in my left knee. After I screamed out, I grabbed my knee then pulled my knee to my chest. I then heard in my spirit a message from the Lord. “Pain will come in submitting to the authority of God Almighty.”

As one who often receives divine revelation through dreams and visions, over the years I have come to understand that there is significant meaning behind every symbolic detail that the Lord reveals. In this impartations, God has shown me that my left side represents the authority He has given me in my call as a prophet. He has shown me that my right side represents the power He has given me to operate within that authority. The knee represents submission to God’s Spirit as in “every knee shall bow.” God used the pain I experienced in my knee to deliver a message to me for the purpose of delivering this message to you, the Church…

As followers of Jesus Christ, and according to the measure that has been assigned to each individual Believer, we have all been given authority, by God, to operate within the power to “heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons.” You, as a follower of Jesus Christ, are to submit everything the Lord has given you to His Power, His Authority and His Will – not your own. With that being said, you must also understand that as a Believer submitting your life to the Will of God, you will be subjected to tests, required to make sacrifices and expected to endure pain. When these things come your way, do not think them strange. When these things come your way, know that God will work “all things together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” (Romans 8:28)

Why must it be this way? Because you live in an evil world that is for a time being influenced by your enemy – who is the devil – to rebel against God. This world is not conducive to the ways of God. In fact, it represents everything that is contrary to God. As you walk the straight and narrow path that the Lord has paved for you, you will come up against much resistance. This conflict is evident in everything and everyone around you including those who are closest to you. As you progress in your walk, much will happen that you will not understand. However, “you must not grow weary while doing good, for in due season you shall reap if you do not lose heart.” (Galatians 6:9)

Even though you will find that you have little control over the things that must take place in your life, remember that God always does. God has always been and always will be – in control. In the midst of the storms that will come, be encouraged and continue to trust God for it is written: “I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11)

Even though you will not understand all of the trials that will befall you, continue to trust God and obey His every command for it is written: “My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. “For as the Heavens are higher than the Earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:8-9)

In case you have not been properly informed, know that following Jesus is not easy. This is not a walk for the faint at heart. When one makes a decision to follow the Lord, one must count the cost then make the decision ahead of time whether they are willing to pay the cost – for it is a high price indeed. Oh, but it is so worth it. If you do not resolve, from the start, to remain faithful to the Lord no matter what, you have already lost the battle. For your enemy will know this and he will take full advantage of this winning edge that he has over you. He will do whatever it takes and use whatever he can to destroy you.

Do you desire to be counted among the few who will overcome this world, or are you destined to be among the many who will not? There are many who say they believe but yet their lives say otherwise. Do you love God more than you love this world? Do you love Jesus more than you love your sin? It is written: “Many are called but few are chosen.” (Matthew 22:14)

We, as Believers, are to follow as Jesus followed. Just as Jesus submitted His Will to the Will of the Father, we are to submit our will to the Will of the Father. Just as Jesus humbled Himself and became as a bondservant committing His life to the service of the Father – even to His death on the cross – we also must humble ourselves and become bondservants who commit our lives to the service of the Father. Just as Jesus endured indescribable pain and suffering for us, redeeming us from the penalty of sin, we must be willing to endure pain and suffering on account of the name of Jesus, for it is written: “A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master.” (Matthew 10:24)

Jesus submitted His Will to His Father’s Will and God exalted our Lord and Savior. He now sits and rules at the right hand of God. Now, by His authority and by the powerful name of Jesus Christ, it is written that come what may every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess – in Heaven, on Earth and beneath the Earth – that Jesus is Lord. If you are faithful to the end, you shall also continue in His way following His perfect example for His way is the only way to move you onward and upward into His Kingdom of glory.

“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the Name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in Heaven, and of those on Earth, and of those under the Earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:5-11

“Hear My words: If there is a prophet among you, I the LORD make Myself known to him in a vision; I speak with him in a dream.” Numbers 12:6

There is much confusion and many misconceptions concerning the topic of the prophetic. There is even more so concerning the differences that exist within the office of the prophet. For within the two channels that flow from this unique and powerful office flow the prophet and the seer prophet. To clarify, let it be known that they are one and the same – as far as the office is concerned. However, they are different – as far as the way they receive their revelation from God.

I’d like to take this opportunity to shed some light specifically on the seer prophet, for this is where I live. In this, I want to express two points. One, that Believers should be familiar, should understand and be very comfortable with the subject of the spiritual realm. This is absolutely necessary for there is no other way we can fully operate within the power and the authority that is given to us by Jesus Christ. And two, God is not restricted in the many ways He communicates with His children for His voice has been, is and always will be mighty, diverse and limitless…

First, allow me to say that all true Believers should be operating in the prophetic. To prophesy simply means to ‘speak forth’ or to ‘declare God’s divine will’ for His purpose. It means to make known God’s truth for the influencing of His people. As I said earlier, all Believers should be prophesying. However, there is a different kind of prophesying delivered as the result of direct revelation imparted by God to His prophets. This will be my focus here.

Seer prophet, prophetic father of the faith and author, James Goll, very astutely describes the two types of prophets as follows: “The prophetic movements in Church history and contemporary life are fed by two mighty streams: the prophet whose revelation are primarily verbal and the seer prophet whose revelation is more visual in nature. All true seers are prophets but not all prophets are seers.” This is a quote taken from his book, The Seer: The Prophetic Power Of Visions, Dreams And Open Heavens.

In the Old Testament, we find three Hebrew words that describe the three distinct descriptions of a prophet. There is one word which is nabih meaning “to bubble forth as from a fountain”  and “to utter”  that describes the non-seeing prophet. Then there are two words that describe the seer prophet. Those words are ra’ah and chozeh. Ra’ah means “to seer” to “gaze”, to “look upon” and to “perceive.” While chozeh means “a beholder in vision”, “gazer” and “stargazer.” As I stated previously, prophets primarily receive their revelation from God by means of ‘hearing’, while seer prophets primarily ‘see’ their revelation. However, there are some seer prophets, such as myself, who receive their revelation from both methods – we ‘see’ and ‘hear’ the word of God.

Seer prophets receive their revelation by means of dreams, visions and a plethora of other divine experiences that come directly from God. This includes insight into the spiritual realm. This insight is called discerning of spirits. Most seer prophets have been given – by God – the gift of discerning of spirits. This is not to be confused with the demonic power that is seen in the world and is rooted in Satan. This power, though it is real, is limited. Many have been deceived by this so-called magic as its source comes from demonic influence and possession. It enables counterfeits (who may also call themselves seers) such as psychics, fortune tellers and the like to access knowledge as well as the spiritual realm. Let me make myself very clear. The true ability to see into the supernatural spiritual realm comes directly from God alone. Anything else is a false satanic copy.

As I continue, please understand that the information I am sharing with you is based on my own personal experiences, alone. Other seers may have different experiences for our gift is as different as we are unique. As for myself, I hear the voice of God audibly both inwardly and outwardly. I also hear God speak to me through many other ways as well. I am currently doing an 8-part series on YouTube entitled The Voice Of God. Check it out. You may also find the information shared helpful as well.

I receive revelatory dreams pretty much on a daily basis. The information revealed to me, by God, is information concerning myself, my family, friends, political figures as well as events that are yet to come. These dreams reveal messages of edification, warnings, inspiration, confirmation, direction, rebuke and everything in between. I also receive visions and other spiritual manifestations of all kinds. These encounters include seeing and hearing words, feeling spiritual manifestations physically as well as experiencing the angelic and the demonic.

Revelations from God are not given for entertainment purposes. It is given for the sole purpose of bringing to past the will of God who is Jesus Christ and the revealing of His glory. In this, it is used to edify, inspire, rebuke and deliver God’s Believers from demonic oppression. There is so much more I can say about this subject however, it will suffice to say it is the responsibility of a seer prophet to un-mystify the mysteries that exists within the spiritual realm. God is Spirit. Where He resides is within the spiritual realm. As Believers, we should flow in this information like the back of our hands for this is where we live. The spiritual realm is real. In fact, it is more real than the earthly facade we live in. I’ll say more about this later. It is also important to say that none of the experiences I have described am I ever able to tap into on my own. What is revealed to me is revealed to me by God, alone, and only when He deems necessary.

In the physical world that we live in, we have five senses that help us relate tangibly to the physical world that we live in. Through these five senses, we are able to experience how something feels, looks, sounds, smells and tastes. It is through these physical experiences that we are able to perceive what is real to us (in a natural sense). Likewise, as it is within the natural, what exists in the spiritual realm can also be felt, seen, heard, smelled and tasted. A seer prophet is given the ability to experience these things uniquely and first hand. Between the physical realm and the spiritual realm, it is in the spiritual realm that the reality of life is truly reflected. Very similar to the movie, The Matrix, we should understand that what we experience in the physical is a façade compared to what is actually happening in the spiritual. Just because you can’t see it, does not mean it does not exist. The spiritual realm is alive, active and is taking place all around us. Daily spiritual warfare should be evidence of this.

Many people want to know if it is possible to receive the seer anointing through impartation from another. Let me say this: God can give whatever He wants to whoever He wants. I do know 1 Corinthians 12:31 tells us that we are to eagerly desire the greater gifts. However, as for myself, I can only say I was born with this anointing. I have memories of receiving revelation in my dreams even as a small child.

Today, the Church is seeing a worldwide resurgence of revelatory gifts that are giving us deeper insight into God, into ourselves and into the spiritual realm. As the Body of Christ, we need this revelation to advance the work of Jesus.

Not only are prophets of both kinds alive and well today, with the influx of evil on the rise in the Church and in the world around us, we are needed more now than ever before. Jesus gave the prophets, as He has given all who make up the five-fold ministry. Ephesians 4:12-13 tells us we are all needed for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.

If you still have questions concerning the prophetic, the prophets or seer prophets specifically, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. I do not claim to know everything there is to know about these subjects for God is still unveiling new revelation concerning this anointing to me – even as we speak. But I will share what I have experienced for there is power in truth for the Believer, and weakness in ignorance.

Brace yourself Beloved, for there is so much more on the subject of the supernatural yet to come…

I was told by my mother that I came into this world early in the morning on a Resurrection Day Sunday by way of a footling breach birth. That is, my head was upward in my mother’s womb and my feet were down instead of the other way around.

She said I was standing up when I entered this world with one foot exiting first – leaving her and her attending doctor anxiously and impatiently waiting for me to move my other foot down and out. I found this kind of delivery to be rare and extremely interesting. I also later discovered that there are some old wives tales and superstitions surrounding people who are born this way. I don’t believe in coincidences, wives tales or superstitions. However, I do believe everything and everyone has a specific purpose and meaning for their existence – and it is all according to the divine will and ultimate plan of sovereign, almighty God.

Every child has a specific purpose for being born. Every mother (and father) has an immense responsibility to love that child, to teach that child, to nurture that child and discover brand new every day – that child. In love, be patient with them, see them, hear them, correct them and speak blessings over them – and one day you will discover what special, specific purpose and unique meaning God has given the world through you…

God has marked, anointed and is raising up a remnant of youth in these latter days. A remnant of strong, powerful and fearless witnesses who love Jesus Christ and who will stand against the apostasy that is to come and that is present in the world – even today.

The Lord said to me: “Pray for the children.” I say to you: “There is nothing greater you can do in this life than to believe on, trust in and live for Jesus Christ. Then, pray, earnestly and continuously, for your child.”

Thirty years ago, when I entered into a relationship with Jesus Christ, I had no previous experiences that defined for me, or prepared me, for what it meant to be a Christian. I did not grow up in a Bible-reading, Bible-teaching family attending church every Sunday. I was not familiar with the terminology, I had no knowledge of the deception that I came to discover was rampant in the Church today and neither had I been predisposed to religious traditions that have caused people to stray far from the model the early apostles modeled for us in the early New Testament Church.

I came to God as a blank slate, somewhat ignorant but nevertheless ready and eager to explore His word for what it was. So, when I received my very first Bible, at the tender age of twenty-seven, I embraced God’s word with much anticipation believing it was going to change my life. As I read it and heard it, I accepted God’s word literally and whole-heartedly, and as the result something amazing happened…

As I began reading my Bible as a new Believer I marveled (as I still do) at the relationships that were formed between God and His children. As I observed the communications that took place between God and people like Abraham and Moses, I could find no reason to believe that God could not or would not communicate with me as well. So, I believed that He could and I expected that He would, and began pursuing a deeper, more intimate relationship with the Lord. I was not content with simply reading my Bible and knowing about God. I wanted more. So, I began to seek the Lord so that I could truly come to know God. In those early years, I remember praying often that God would clearly speak to me. God answered my prayer. However, recognizing His voice did not happen for me overnight. It took years of walking with, talking with and experiencing God.

In my previous post, Introducing Author Of Life Poetic Inspirations!, I share my amazing experience of the first time I heard the audible voice of God. I’d like to expound upon it here:

Let me start out by saying I am not one who has ever been able to stay up late. I define late as past the hour of 9:00pm (smile). Even as a small child I always rose early and retired early. According to my pediatrician, it was just the way God had wired my body. However, in September of 2001, on the eve of what would become one of the most devastating periods of my life, everything was different. In retrospect, I know now that the Lord was preparing me for a very painful situation that was coming. He was going to draw out of me emotions from that situation that He allowed to teach me lessons and to use for ministry.

Prior to that evening, I had begun to supernaturally receive messages that I was moved to write into psalms and poems. These writings were destined to not only minister to me during some of the most difficult periods of my life but, eventually, would come to minister to many others as well. I had recently been given my first Holy Spirit-inspired message. Eventually, more were to follow.

On this day, I spent the evening stretched out on the living room floor of my home praying, reflecting and writing. Although it had become quite late, surprisingly I was wide awake and had no intentions of going to bed until I finished what I was working on. I don’t remember what time it was, but I do know my family had gone to bed hours before and everyone was sound asleep. After I had finally finished, I prepared for bed then went into my bedroom. I remember it was quiet in the house and all the lights were out however, my bedroom was gently illuminated by the moonlight I could see coming in through my bedroom window.

As I climbed into bed and began to pull the covers up over me, I heard a male voice call out my first name out loud. Startled, I looked around the room but I saw no one. I was frightened so I sunk down into the bed and pulled the covers up over my head. Then, with my left foot, I nudged my husband who was laying beside me sound asleep and snoring. I tried again to wake him to see if he had also heard the voice but he didn’t budge. It was obvious that he had not. As I lay there all night afraid to remove the covers for fear of what I might see, I pondered what I had just heard. I don’t remember how long I lay there, but eventually I know I fell asleep.

The following morning, I was completely beside myself. I told my husband what had happened in hopes of getting some answers. Instead, he was speechless and equally surprised. I then contacted one of my co-pastors and met her later for lunch. She confirmed what I already knew in my spirit. I had, in fact, heard the audible voice of Jesus.

I could not understand why God would speak to me and yet only call out my name. This question plagued me. In an effort to understand, I grabbed my Bible and re-read the story of Samuel. Afterwards, I became completely distraught and disappointed with myself. God had called out my name the night before and I had not responded with a single word. Maybe this was the reason why He had not spoken anything else.

A week later, I received devastating news. It was the kind of news that had I not been grounded in the belief that God was real, it may have destroyed me. I struggled for quite a while trying to process everything. “How could God allow this to happen?” I thought. Much later, I was to receive many answers to that question. However, none of them brought me relief from my pain. Only the reality that God was real grounded me. I knew He was. Along with all the other times He had revealed Himself to me in miraculous ways, now I could tell myself in the most difficult situations that God would see me through it. I was reminded of this every time I drew strength from the fact that He had audibly called out my name.

Although I was surprised by my lack of a reaction when I heard the voice of God, none of it caught God by surprise. He knew exactly how I would respond. Nevertheless, He is using every bit of that experience for His glory.

Recently, I released some of those psalms and poems that were given to me over the years by the Lord. They are included in the seventeen ‘Gift Books’ (as in gifts from God) that make up my poetic work entitled Author Of Life Poetic Inspirations: A Divinely Inspired Poem & Psalm Collection. The title I chose for this work is a lengthy one and there is a very good reason for that. ‘Divinely Inspired’ implies that there was an impartation that took place between the Holy Spirit and myself. Imparting (or downloading) information into our spirits is another way God speaks to His children. Have you ever received a complete idea or information about something you had never given any thought to before? If that idea or information was not contrary to the word of God, it was probably the Holy Spirit imparting, or downloading, that information into your spirit. Though this type of communication is actually quite common, unfortunately, people assume their information comes from elsewhere and the Holy Spirit does not receive proper credit for it. The reason for the long title of my poetic work: I wanted to be sure to give credit where credit is due.

I’d like to share a very personal story. This story is one I rarely speak about however, as I considered which example in my life would be appropriate to best demonstrate ‘impartation’, the Lord said to use this one.

In 2008, I began to receive very disturbing dreams concerning my mother who was alive and well at the time. The dreams were reoccurring. I say this because even though the scenes and circumstances were different, the subject and the ending were always the same. In every dream was my mother and at the end of every dream, I was shown that my mother was going to Hell.

Naturally, I was extremely alarmed about what was being shown to me so I would attempt to speak with my mother, as well as my father, about whether they had a relationship with the Lord. At the time, however, neither would speak to me about the subject. I did’t know what more to do other than pray, pray and pray some more.

Years later, my mother began to show signs of a debilitating illness.  I remember my father telling me that my mother told him before she lost her ability to speak that she felt as if she was slowly fading away. I traveled from Georgia to Texas to help care for her. I took her to several specialists hoping to discover what was wrong with her and trying to believe that there was  a cure out there somewhere. But her visits always ended the same. Her illness baffled even the experts. While some symptoms would point to one illness, other symptoms would at the same time rule it out. There was nothing they could do. This was the case throughout the entire course of her illness.

In horror, I watched as my mother very quickly declined from a strong-willed, intelligent and very capable woman and succumb to an infantile state of helplessness. My mother eventually lost her ability to talk, to eat or drink, to walk, stand and even sit. Interestingly enough though, her mind seemed to be intact. It was a strange illness. It was as if her mind was imprisoned inside a body that was shutting down around her. However, eventually, even her cognitive abilities were to go. My family and I knew that my mother was dying. In desperation, each and every one of us did everything that was humanly possible to try and save her but sadly we could do nothing more but keep her comfortable and stand by watching as the enemy slowly pulled her away from us.

While all this was happening, in the back of my mind I could not escape the dreams the Lord had given to me concerning my mother. “Isn’t there anything more I can do, Lord?” I would often ask God as I prayed for my mother. But the Lord was silent. So I just continued to pray.

Eventually, I saw my mother become bed-bound in a nursing home for we could no longer care for her properly at home. But only weeks before she could no longer sit alone, I began to receive news from the nurses that early on Sunday mornings, my mother had begun to wheel herself, alone in her wheelchair, to the other side of the building so that she could attend church services in the little chapel they had there. This shocked me. My mother never had a desire to attend church. In fact, she would become upset with me every time I tried to talk to her about God. Did she believe in God? Was she angry with God about something? These are questions she would never answer.

My mother had lost her ability to speak and write by this time, so I could get nothing out of her whenever I would ask her about her trips to the chapel. “Mommy, the nurses tell me you’ve been attending church services on Sunday mornings. Is this true?” In an attempt to engage my mother, she would only stare at me with an empty look on her face. Sometimes she would yawn as if she wanted to speak but couldn’t. A few weeks later, my mother’s body could no longer sit so she became bed-bound. Not long after this, I returned to Georgia. My mother was declining fast at this point and I knew that the end was near.

One morning, shortly after returning to Georgia, I awoke very early and felt that I needed some time with the Lord. So, I drew a bath and decided to relax to the sounds of the gospel being read to me by audio form. As I lay back in the tub with my eyes closed, the Lord spoke to my spirit. He instructed me to give a message to my mother and began to impart this information into my spirit. There was so much that I was afraid I would not remember it all, so I got out of the tub to get a piece of paper and a pen. I wrote down everything the Lord gave me for my mother.

The Lord instructed me to call my sister, who was in Texas, to go see my mother. It was around 4:00 am or so. God told me to tell my sister when she got to my mother’s room to put the phone on speaker and I was to give her the message. I called my sister and she did exactly what the Lord said. First, the Lord had me tell my mother that He loved her very much. He told me to tell my mother that He had forgiven her of everything. He said that even though there are secrets my mother held onto, He knows about them all and has forgiven her for them all. At this time, I heard my sister call out my name and say, “She’s crying. There are tears running out of her eyes.” I then spoke to my mother and told her I was going to ask her some questions and that I needed her to respond to me. I knew she couldn’t speak so I asked her if she could blink her eyes. I instructed my mother to blink twice for ‘yes’ and once for ‘no’.  My sister became excited and confirmed that my mother had blinked her eyes hard – twice! I then continued by asking my mother if she believed that Jesus Christ was the one and only virgin-born son of God. My mother blinked twice. I asked her if she believed He was crucified, buried, rose on the third day and had ascended into Heaven to rule along side of the Father. My mother blinked twice. On the inside, I was rejoicing! Then the Lord had me tell my mother that soon her time here would come to an end for He was going to bring her home to be with Him. He had me tell her that when that time came, He was going to call out her name and when she heard her name called, she was to answer Him. My mother blinked twice, again. I then said some personal words to my mother telling her how much I loved her, what a wonderful mother she had been to me and that I would see her soon. We then cried together and I said my goodbyes.

A few days later, my mother died. The hospice nurse that cared for her in her last hours told me that a strange thing happened right before my mother passed. She said that my mother had slipped into a state of sleep but noticed at the end that her lips began to move. The nurse thought maybe her lips were dry and so she turned to get some moisturizer for my mother. When she turned back to tend to my mother, she was gone. In this, the Lord was showing me that my mother had done what He had instructed her to do when it was her time to go. God called out her name and she answered Him.

The Lord taught me some very important lessons through this experience with my mother. I can sum them up in four words. Prayer, grace, mercy and obedience. Even though I thought there was nothing more I could do for my mother, I still prayed. The Lord extended grace to my mother and showed her mercy even though she did not deserve it, as none of us do. And God honored my obedience to Him and honored my prayers for my mother. My mother received salvation and is at peace, in perfect joy and in perfect health in glorious Heaven with the Lord.

As for me, I am ecstatic! For I will see my beautiful, strong and amazing mother again.

In 1997, ten years after I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior, I cried out to God one day in the midst of struggling through yet another hurtful situation that was going on in my life. I remember desperately wanting and needing to hear God’s voice. I had been praying and seeking God, but I felt like He was not responding to me in the way that I wanted Him to. What happened that unforgettable day became a milestone in my life. It catapulted my faith and solidified what I had been believing about God for years, which was that God still audibly speaks to His children. For it is written that if you “seek the Lord, you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.” (Deuteronomy 4:29)

I was working for a company that was located only a few miles from my house at the time. While I was at work, I was having trouble focusing and I felt like I was on the verge of tears, so I decided to go home for lunch so I could spend some time alone with the Lord to pray. I remember coming home and going directly to my bedroom. I placed my purse on the dresser and fell to my knees beside my bed. I then immediately began to cry out to God. I begged Him to appear to me and I explained that I desperately needed Him to physically hold me and audibly tell me that He loved me.

Even though I truly did believe God loved me, that day I truly needed to hear it and feel it. For almost an hour or so, I continued travailing in my bedroom on my knees. Yet, much to my disappointment, God did not appear to me and neither did He speak to me. Then I became angry and I started yelling and challenging God to appear before me in my bedroom. I then lifted my right arm up into the air and begged Him to touch my hand. “I know the Bible says You are real and I believe You are real,” I cried out, “but I really need to know, without a shadow of a doubt, that You are real.” Still, much to my disappointment, God did not appear to me and neither did He speak to me. By this time, I had become completely worn out from all the crying and yelling I was doing. Feeling even more frustrated than I was before I came home, I looked at the clock and realized my lunch hour was almost over. So I got up, grabbed my purse and began walking towards the front door. Just as I turned the knob to open the door, the phone rang. I decided to ignore the call because I did not want to chance being late for work, when the answering machine (this was the year 1997) picked up the call. I was compelled to stand there and listen, then I heard my seven year old daughter, who was calling me from her elementary school, speaking on the other end of the phone.

I have to say that my youngest daughter had never called me from school before that day and never did again after that day. This is what I heard her say: “Hi Mommy. This is Nikki. I asked my teacher if I could call you and she said I could. I just wanted to call and let you know that I love you, Mommy. And when I get home, I’m going to hold you because I want you to know just how much I love you.  Mommy, I love you very, very much. Well, I have to go now. I’ll see you when I get home. Bye.”

After I heard my daughter’s message, I quickly closed the door and ran over to the answering machine. I dropped to my knees and began to cry bitterly. I knew that although the voice on the phone belonged to my young daughter, the words I heard belonged to my loving God. The Lord was speaking to me through my daughter. I hit replay on the answering machine over and over again listening intently to every single word. Then I grabbed a piece of paper and a pen and wrote down everything my daughter said. Then I carefully tucked that piece of paper into my Bible for safe keeping.

Was I late for work that day? Probably, I don’t remember. But I will never forget that day, for it was a day God revealed Himself to me in a very real and very dramatic way. Why He chose to communicate to me in the way He did, I don’t know. Why He chose to do it through my daughter, I don’t know. Could He have physically appeared to me and spoken to me Himself? Of course He could have. He is God. Only God knows why He does what He does the way He does and for the reasons that He does it. In all the many ways He does it, God still speaks to His children.

As a prophet, at times I am given messages from God to deliver to others. However, there are times when God delivers messages to me by others. Either way, it is important to know that communicating messages on behalf of God requires extreme caution – both from the deliverer and from the receiver. It is our responsibility to confirm any and all word we receive as a word from God.

I remember a time in my life when God used a young girl with a sweet spirit to usher me into a ministry I felt unqualified to begin… I was working as Marketing Director in a capacity where it was my responsibility to create programs for a community of youth. I called a meeting and invited the youth to explain to them what I wanted to do. I encouraged their feedback and eagerly anticipated the kinds of programs that would interest them. Following that meeting, a young teenage girl who had attended the meeting began to visit me in my office. After a few visits, she began to share with me her dreams she had for her future and her desire for a better life other than what was being offered to her by her struggling single-parent mother. She asked me if I would consider starting a program that would help her do just that.

In the days following, I could not get the young girl, or our conversation, out of my mind. I considered etiquette classes at first. However, as she continued to come by my office and talk to me about her future, I knew I needed to offer her so much more.

After sharing all of this with my husband, he asked me if I had considered starting a teen ministry for girls. Surprised at his response, I quickly replied that I had not. I was no Bible scholar. Neither did I have any formal training. However, it quickly became clear to me that there was nothing I could possibly offer her, or anyone else who was interested in changing their life, that could benefit them more than would an introduction to Jesus Christ.

Not believing I was qualified to head up such an important task, I prayed continuously for confirmation and direction from the Lord. Things began to happen that confirmed God’s plan for me to begin a teen ministry for girls. So, I gave the Lord my word that if He would clearly open the door, I would walk through it. God did just that! And He opened the door wide! Before too long, a teen ministry for girls was birthed and it grew exponentially! God had a message for me and He used a young girl to deliver it. Today, young women ministers have come out of that ministry and that young girl, who God used to start it all, is a successful young woman with a family who loves the Lord.

God was perfectly capable of communicating to me directly and yet He chose to use a young girl I did not know but came to love as a daughter. God also loves to use His people as vessels He can pour into and pour out of. He is not looking for polished professionals, He is looking for those who are hungry for His word. He is looking for those He can train and who are willing to be obedient. Neither is God put off by our need to confirm His word. In fact, He requires it. 1 John 4:1 states: “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.”

All Scripture is breathed out by God (2 Timothy 3:16) so when God speaks to us through His word, which is the Holy Bible, He is speaking to us through His Inspired word. These are words that were poured out thousands of years ago by His obedient vessels to deliver messages that were meant to minister to us concerning our past, our present and our future. God’s word is alive! God’s word is active. God’s word is sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing and dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow. God’s word discerns the thoughts and the intentions of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12)

When I first began to read my Bible as a new Believer in my early twenties, I remember how I felt. I was at a point of brokenness and despair. My own life was in ruins on account of many decisions I had made and I was seeking answers. As I looked around me, I questioned my own existence.  “Is this all there is?” I thought. “Does life merely consist of one’s own selfish pursuit of happiness?” With all the complexities I could see in the world around me, there had to be more to it than that. It was then that I began to wonder about God. It was then that I began to read the Bible for the first time in my life. “But from there you will seek the Lord your God and you will find Him, if you search after Him with all your heart and with all your soul.” (Deuteronomy 4:29) Little did I know, that He was drawing me to Him. Little did I know that it was the beginning of a lifetime journey of seeking God. Little did I know that I would surely find Him…

As I read my Bible for the first time, I felt as though I was being drawn into the words and made to experience everything as though I was right there, real time. I started out reading the Bible as I would any new book, from the beginning. It was there in the Old Testament that I was introduced to the Triune Spirit. Not only did I learn about God, I came to know Him as the one and only God of the universe. As I continued in my journey, I also came to know, love and understand that very same God as my friend, my Father and my Lord.

When I entered into the New Testament – having no previous knowledge of Jesus – I could not understand why some of the words were red throughout this book even though I clearly felt moved to tears every time I would read them. I soon learned that those beautiful red words belonged to Jesus.

It was through the words of Jesus – the one and only virgin-born Son of God and who is also God – that I came to understand the true meaning of love for the very first time in my life. I discovered it to be an unconditional love – nothing like the so-called conditional “what have you done for me lately” kind of love that the world teaches. It was the words of Jesus that drew me to Him and beckoned me to accept Him as my Lord and my Savior. It was the words of Jesus that answered all my questions. It was the words of Jesus that saved my life.

The power behind God’s word is a mystery. It is one of many miracles that cannot be explained. It transcends our natural mind’s ability to comprehend. Nevertheless, as His children, we eagerly trust God and by faith we believe His word for it is written: “His thoughts are not our thoughts, nor are our ways His ways says the Lord. For as the Heavens are higher than the Earth, so are His ways higher than our ways, and His thoughts than our thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:8-9)

I have read the Bible from beginning to end several times and every time I read it, the Lord speaks to me as if I was reading it for the first time. The understanding is always deeper and more profound. Even though the Author of Life is the ancient of days, this book of old always delivers a brand new message that is fresh and on par with everything I am experiencing today. The voice of God, as spoken through His word, is yet another supernatural phenomenon you have to experience first hand to understand.

To those of you who are questioning life and your unique place in it, God is calling you to Him. Do not be afraid to answer Him. I urge you to quickly respond with prayer by saying, “I am here, Lord. Speak to me and I will listen. Speak to me and I will obey.” He will. Call out to Jesus and ask Him to reveal Himself to you in a very real and a very personal way. Then, begin reading the Bible for yourself. I recommend that you read the King James version or the New King James version at first. Take your time as you read and study God’s word. The Lord tells us to Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15

Hold on tight! You are about to embark upon the journey of a lifetime as you personally experience the miraculous, supernaturally living word of God.

A follower of Jesus Christ has many benefits and privileges… This includes the peace we experience in knowing that God has everything concerning our lives under His control – even when we don’t. Proverbs 16:9 tells us that “A man’s heart may plan his way, but it is the Lord who directs his steps.”

I can’t tell you the number of times God has directed and re-directed me by using various circumstances in my life. Through divine detours, God is saying to you, “I am closing this door because it will lead you to a place I do not want you to go.” Or, “I have allowed this to happen because there is a lesson in this experience that I want you to learn.” Or, “I am removing this from you because I have something better in mind.” Or, “I will open this door because in this place I am going to bless you.”

Change can often be uncomfortable and painful. Yet, you must still trust God in the midst of change to manage your life as He deems necessary. God tells us that He will work all things together for the good of those who love Him, for those who are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28)

As we follow our own plans and the desires of our heart, we sometimes knowingly – and even unknowingly – can end up where God does not want us to be. There are times that even with our best intentions at heart, we can still make mistakes. When this happens, God will do whatever is necessary to redirect us so that we are placed back on the path that leads us where He desires us to go. However, if you are not where you should be due to your disobedience to the Lord, He will very often allow you to continue in that direction as well as permit painful consequences into your life to teach you what you are refusing to learn.

It wasn’t that long ago, that God had to re-direct me and my life in a very dramatic way. I thought my life was going according to God’s plan. Where I was and everything I was doing made perfect sense to me but the Lord saw things differently. In order to get me back on track so that God could fulfill His plan for my life, He had to change some things that affected my life and the lives of those who were closest to me.  “My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, saith the Lord. For as the Heavens are higher than the Earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8-9

It is easy to become distracted by life. For this reason, we must always be in right fellowship with the Lord. It is only then that we are able to pray, seek God’s guidance and know that He will hear us. And it is only then that we are able to hear God respond.

Psalm 1:1-6 tells us that the man who does not walk in the counsel of the ungodly is blessed. Neither does he stand in the path of sinners. Nor does he sit in the seat of the scornful. Instead, he delights in the law of the Lord and in God’s law, he meditates day and night. He that is blessed is like a tree planted by the rivers of water that brings forth its fruit in its season and whose leaf shall not wither. Whatever he does shall prosper. However, this is not so with the ungodly for they are like the chaff which the wind blows away. The ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor shall the sinners be in the congregation of the righteous. For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

God also speaks to His children through dreams and visions. If He has given you this gift, you will find that God speaks to warn, prepare, confirm, convict, encourage, inspire and rebuke His children. This subject alone is worthy of its own post for there is so much to say about it. I will expound on it later in a different message.

There is so much more that can be said here about the audible voice of God but the bottom line is that God still very much speaks to His children. However, we need to be mindful to listen for Him for we can miss hearing Him. In fact, God is always speaking but sometimes we, His children, are not always able to hear His voice. God does not scream at you. He will not force Himself on you.

It is possible to miss the voice of God. There are many reasons for this. Are you a Believer in Jesus Christ? Have you made Him the Lord and Savior of your life? Do you believe His word? Do you believe God can and will speak to you? Are you too busy or too distracted to hear God’s voice? Is there sin in your life? All of these things will place a barrier between you and the voice of God. When God’s voice is not resonant in your life, the result is devastating. Prayers are unheard, blessings are blocked and you miss God’s best for you. If you are a Believer, there is a remedy. If you are not a Believer, there is still a remedy – become one. Either way, the remedy is the same… Seek God with all of your heart.

“You will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:11

Have you ever wondered why it is so hard to obtain, maintain and remain in a state of happiness? The truth of the matter is that chasing ‘happiness’ is not biblical. The Lord does not tell us to pursue happiness in this life. In fact, the pursuit of happiness is a false, deceptive and even unachievable endeavor, and yet it is the crux that motivates most of the people in this world. The state of happiness a measurement, for many, that determines whether or not they have achieved real success. So, if true happiness doesn’t exist in this world, what are you really living for?…

It is not an accident that people are programmed into thinking that the American dream can only be achieved through the pursuit of happiness. People exhaust themselves, and many even sell their souls to the devil, thinking they must do this to achieve real happiness. Yet, people die every day empty, unfulfilled and miserable for they strive and never achieve. People are deceived into thinking that things in this world will make them happy. Of course, this is a lie. Happiness can not be found in a flawed, imperfect world full of flawed and imperfect people. It is yet another counterfeit from the enemy trying to emulate the real thing. Happiness can only be achieved in a pure environment of total cleanliness, righteousness, perfection and holiness. There is only one place where this exists, and that is in the presence of God.

It is not surprising that there is so much discontentment, depression, suicide, alcoholism, drug abuse, sexual addictions, divorce, psychoanalysis, etc. in the world today. These life situations sadly become the end result and the solution of escape for many who spend their entire lives chasing after things the world tells them will make them ‘happy’. They make it their lifetime goal to pursue more money, a better job, a bigger house, a nicer car, the newest and the greatest gadget, a higher degree, a perfect body, more beauty, a better relationship with a better person, a perfect marriage, a perfect family, more satisfying sex, a higher high and the list goes on. Ask anyone who has managed to achieve any of these things if they are truly happy. If they are completely honest, they will tell you that the satisfaction they received and the immediate gratification of achieving that thing was only temporary, at best. Once that thing is achieved, and the honeymoon period wears off, they are right back on that ever-running treadmill of life chasing the next best thing believing it will finally make them happy. This has been one of the enemy’s greatest deceptions. It is all a lie and the devil is laughing at everyone in this world who falls for it.

There is nothing in the Bible that tells us to pursue ‘happiness’. Instead, the Lord tells us that the Holy Spirit, given through Jesus Christ, will fill us with ‘joy and an inner peace’. For it is written: “Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 15:13) Many people believe ‘joy’ and ‘happiness’ are the same, however, this is not true. ‘Joy’ and ‘happiness’ are completely different concepts. ‘Happiness’ is a temporary feeling that comes only by what is tangible, meaning you have to obtain something in the physical to achieve it.

‘Joy’, on the other hand, is a state of mind. It is the epitome of inner peace and contentment. And it can only come from the Holy Spirit. His peace transcends the things of this world. It transcends your status and your situation. When you have the joy of the Lord, you have peace and contentment in any place, in any time, with anything and with anyone. It is the calm in the midst of the storm.

The joy of the Lord comes as the result of the hope we have in Jesus. For Jesus says, Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” He says, “Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30) It comes in knowing that God is in control of everything and everyone for it is written that although man may make his own plans, God’s will ultimately prevails. (Proverbs 19:21) It comes in knowing that you don’t have to have it all figured out, that you don’t have to be in control of everything for it is written that “all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” (Romans 8:28). It comes in knowing that you do not have to fight your own battles for God says “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay.” (Romans 12:17-21) It is the peace that comes with knowing God’s got you. “He knows the thoughts that He thinks towards you, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11)

Do you want to have a life full of joy, peace and contentment? You can have it if you do this: Don’t pursue happiness. Pursue God. You need only to know Jesus Christ and place your belief and trust in Him.

The Lord tells us that though we are in this world, we are not of this world. This world is not our home. We are only here to occupy for a specific work and for a specific time. Have you ever went on vacation and found that no matter how great of a time you had or no matter how seemingly perfect the environment you were staying in was, after a while you always missed home. Nothing compares to home. Nothing compares to that one place that is ever so perfectly comfortable and custom-made just for you. Heaven is home for the Believer. We desire to go there because it is utterly perfect there and not only will you have the inner peace that is found in the ‘joy of the Lord’, there you will also experience true happiness. Don’t you want to go? Will I see you there?

As far back as I can remember, I have loved and appreciated the art and the gift of literary expression. Since a child, I have found pleasure in writing stories, poetry, essays and any excuse I could find to express myself. However, my writing changed in the fall of 2001. On the eve of what was to become the most painful period of my life, I heard the audible voice of God for the first time and supernaturally I began to receive inspirational, Holy Spirit-inspired psalms and poems from the Lord…

These literary ‘gifts’ would come to me when I least expected them so I tried to keep a pen and paper handy in my purse, by my bed, in the car or anywhere else I thought the Lord would speak to me.

As the stormy winds of life blew in hard and cold, these beautiful gifts spoke peace into my life as they comforted me and ministered to me through it all. As the psalms and poems continued to come, my husband often urged me to consider sharing them for ministry purposes. However, at the time, the idea of sharing my writings felt as if I was allowing the world to enter into my bedroom. It was too soon and too invasive. These psalms and poems spoke to me concerning details of my life that were deeply personal and so I hid them away on the top shelf of my bedroom closet for safe keeping.

In 2012, however, the Lord changed my heart. During a time of grief and family loss, I shared one of my poems with a loved one and was surprised to see it minister to them as much as it had ministered to me. My husband was right. So, I began the process of designing and publishing my work. However, my efforts were often frustrated by the distractions of life and the ploys of the enemy so, once again, I tucked them away on the top shelf of my bedroom closet for another time.

The Lord continued to nudge me over the years and I continued to allow life to distract me. However, in the summer of 2016, the Lord spoke to me yet again urging me to focus on my writing. This time, He reminded me of the gift He had given me and the ministry it was given for.

Not long after this, the Lord woke me from sleep one night with an idea for my poetry: What He showed me was a collection of ministering Gift Books. Each ‘gift book’ was to be beautifully illustrated ‘and devoted to one poem/psalm of my choosing with its theme carried throughout. It would be a short read and include theme-related vignettes. Each book would also include journals for the reader to record their thoughts, prayers and reflections. “What a perfect idea,” I thought. One worthy of each and every one of those divinely-inspired psalms and poems. Upon waking, I immediately began the work the Lord had given me. This time, with a commitment to continue to completion…

I am very pleased to announce that my poetic work is finished!

It is for God’s good pleasure that His children utilize their gifts, talents and abilities to loudly proclaim His sovereignty. For all Believers are commissioned to bear witness to the hope and saving grace that we have in Jesus Christ.

My commission was assigned for all will be told,

Of the silver-tongued message through silence of gold:

“Cry out in the wilderness with a voice that’s not heard!

Speak boldly of Christ though you won’t say a word.”

“And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. But do not be troubled for all these things must come to pass before the end. Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences (deadly diseases, viruses, plagues, etc.) and earthquakes in various places. All these things are the beginnings of sorrows.” (Mark 13)

God is speaking to His Church. He is revealing many different signs and wonders for the purpose of warning and preparation. According to the Holy Bible, major catastrophic earthquakes have been predicted to come just prior to the time of tribulation. Over the years, I have been shown dreams of desolation and destruction that is coming. I have been given dreams of instruction for the Church on how to survive the days of tribulation when they come. I have received dreams demonstrating the Lord informing His Church that they must immediately ‘clean their house’ which is the temple of the Holy Spirit who dwells inside of us, for He is returning very, very soon. Only a week following that particular dream, I was shown another revealing to me one word: IMMINENT. Jesus is not just coming soon, He is standing at the door waiting for the impending word from the Father. Child of God, the Lord is warning you that the “beginnings of sorrows”, spoken of in Mark 13, are upon us.

Now as Jesus sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, asking, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” And Jesus answered them and said: “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. But do not be troubled for all these things must come to pass before the end. Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences (deadly diseases, viruses, plagues, etc.) and earthquakes in various places. All these things are the beginnings of sorrows. “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended because of you. They will betray one another and hate one another. Brother will betray brother to the death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against their parents and cause them to be put to death. And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. Then this gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations and then the end will come.

In 2008, my husband and I went out to eat at a local restaurant. The weather was beautiful that day and there was nothing was out of the ordinary. As we began to eat, I suddenly felt the ground violently shake beneath my feet. I looked around to see what was happening. Again, nothing was out of the ordinary. Then, it happened again, I felt the ground shake beneath my feet. I then looked at my husband and asked him if he had felt the ground shaking and he replied that he had not. We finished our meal then we left the restaurant and returned home. I wrote this event down in my journal.

Later that evening, as I watched a television program, a different scene was superimposed over the television program I was watching. What I saw was a woman appearing on a screen as a weather broadcaster. She was holding a long, narrow pointing stick in her hand and was pointing to two columns that were listed on a board on the wall. Each column displayed approximately five or six major cities throughout the United States. I remember seeing Atlanta because we lived in a city not far from there at the time, which alarmed me, and I remember seeing Los Angeles. There were others but I cannot recall them all. She stood there pointing to each city and was warning me of eminent earthquakes that were to come to those cities. Not realizing at the time that what I had seen was a vision, I immediately left the room to ask my husband if he had heard the news about the earthquakes. He had no idea what I was talking about. When I returned to the living room to show him what I had seen, the vision was gone and the original programming had returned. I knew what I had seen and heard so I proceeded to search the television news and weather channels to show my husband, but I found nothing. I then searched the internet for the information about the earthquakes, but again, I found nothing. I was reminded of the ‘shaking ground incident’ I had experienced earlier in the restaurant so I wrote this experience down in my journal as well. All of this took place in 2008.

Eight years later, in the early part of 2016, I had another vision that involved a shaking. As I lay upon my bed resting, I close my eyes for just a second when I saw a date flash before my eyes. The date revealed to me a month, a day and a year and then it began to violently shake from side to side. When I opened my eyes, it was gone. For reasons only God knows, I was not permitted to remember the date that I saw. God’s timing is everything.

What can you do? Draw near to the Lord so that you may clearly hear His voice, for His instructions will be the only advice that will save you during this time. If earthquakes are coming to a city near you, listen to the voice of the Lord. Is He warning you? Is He moving you? Is He changing and rearranging people and circumstances in your life. Do not think it strange God begins to allow things to happen that affect your job, your relationships, your living situations, etc. Like in a chess game, He is strategizing and orchestrating His moves. He is putting key people in place to usher in His will for this world. He is moving His people, as well as others, into new places where He wants them to be for His purpose. Do not resist the Lord when He speaks to you. If you find that He is requiring you to do something that is uncomfortable or unconventional for you. Do not question Him. Just listen to Him and obey. This time is a crucial time for God’s Church. The Lord is busy navigating change that will effect everyone and everything. What is coming, and even what is happening now,  is destined to change this world as we know it – forever. Brace yourself, expect it and be ready.

On the day before the 2016 presidential election, between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, my husband and I had a disagreement. For the first time in my adult life, I felt strongly that I should NOT vote for either of the candidates. However, my husband disagreed.

That evening, I did something I’m a bit embarrassed to say I had not done previously in any other election… I prayed. I asked God what He thought I should do. I specifically prayed and asked that He either confirm my convictions to not vote in the election or speak to me clearly otherwise. Then I went to bed.

That night, God not only gave me a dream, He gave me an immediate interpretation upon waking from that dream. In the dream, I saw a couple – an older white man and an older white woman, together. They were not married to each other and they were climbing into bed to have sex. In the dream, my husband suggested that we climb into bed with them – to also have sex. I was horrified that my husband would suggest such a thing, but he persisted and insisted that it would be okay. So, I eventually gave in, against my better judgement. As my husband and I climbed into bed and laid next to the older white couple, strangely, it appeared as if they didn’t see us or know that we were there. In the dream, my husband’s focus was on the couple. He watched everything they did and then tried to repeat what he saw them doing with me. In spite of my protesting, my husband obsessively, and even uncontrollably, continued to emulate the actions of the older couple. Then I awoke.

Immediately upon waking, the Lord gave me the interpretation of the dream.  The Lord made it known to me that if I, or my husband, were to vote for either Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump, it would be likened to climbing into bed with sin for God saw both parties as unrighteous and evil. God further explained that when we align ourselves with people, such as in an election, when we enter into friendships and relationships, when we enter into business partnerships and even when we choose a spouse, we are becoming spiritually party to every decision that person makes. God made it known to me that He holds us accountable for every decision we make, even ones concerning people we align ourselves with. In aligning ourselves with people, by default, we are even agreeing to the same spiritual consequences that person will receive on account of the decisions that they make. In essence, when we align ourselves with others, we become yoked together with them. This becomes a fiduciary relationship and when we enter into such, we are delegating our spiritual power to them allowing them to act on our behalf.

After I shared my dream and its interpretation with my husband, he knew it was from the Lord and agreed with me. Neither of us voted that day.

Now, my experience may not be your experience. Just as my walk with God is not the same as your walk with God. This particular message was for me. I am not here to tell you with who you should or should not be aligning yourself. That responsibility belongs solely to God. I am only here to share the universal message of warning I received through this dream. If you are not sure about what I am saying. No problem. Let God be true and every man a liar. Align it up with the word of God. You will find that what I am saying is actually scriptural. The Holy Bible clearly tells us “Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts…” (1 Corinthians 15:33)

Child of God, especially in these times and absolutely for the times that are to come, as a Believer, you must have your own personal relationship with Jesus Christ. How else can you, and will you, be able to survive the deception that is all around you? And it is everywhere, including in the Church. Christianity is not a faith or a religion. It is a relationship. God speaks to His children – when His children are speaking to Him.

The take-away here is this. Beloved, be very careful about the people with whom you enter into an agreement with. The decisions you make, and those you make them with, are not to be taken lightly. As a Believer, you must understand the importance of submitting every one, every thing and every decision to the Lord for His approval, His counsel and His guidance.  The access that you, as a Child of God, has to the throne room of God is mandatory, immeasurable and priceless. Use it. However, it has to be said that this privilege is only possible for those who are in relationship with Him through His son, Jesus Christ. Always remember  that there are supernatural repercussions behind every decision you make in the natural.

This dream was a wake-up call for me. I pray that it opens your eyes as well.

Followers of Jesus Christ, CONCERNING YOUR DECISION IN THE PAST PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION, as well as every other decision you are responsible for making in this world, be mindful to FIRST SEEK GOD with all your heart – then be obedient and do as the Holy Spirit leads you.

To vote or not to vote? That is the question. Child of God, pray often and concerning everything. Then KNOW THAT HARD TIMES ARE COMING. It is unavoidable. So, be diligent and prepare. Unless the Lord calls you home beforehand, there will be no escaping it. KNOW JESUS CHRIST and FOLLOW JESUS CHRIST. DO NOT TURN AWAY FROM THE LORD no matter what, for the Lord has warned us that there will be a great falling away of Believers in these last days. DO NOT BE AMONG THEM.

Though there is much going on around us that is shocking and unbelievable. Nothing catches God by surprise. He knows the beginning and the end of it all. Not only does God know what is to come, He is actually orchestrating and allowing things to happen in the world around us – as well as in your life. Everything will take place exactly as His will dictates. For everything is A DIVINE SETUP.

To those who love and are obedient to God, be at peace. If you do not know God, there is no time like the present to REPENT and SEEK JESUS CHRIST with all your heart… before it is too late.

Evil and the corruption of the world is unprecedented… The followers of Satan are increasing at an alarming rate and the practice of witchcraft is at an all-time high… The anti-Christ is alive in this world today and is patiently awaiting his time of unveiling… God’s judgment hovers over the nations and His wrath is being unleashed… Jesus is not just coming soon. He is patiently waiting at the door… You can see it and you can feel it all around you as you observe the world events and even the people who are – and will be – doing their part to usher it all onto the scene. They can’t help it. A man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.” Proverbs 16:9

Child of God, be encouraged. Do not be alarmed. These things, as alarming as they are, must happen. They represent the birthing pains of what is sure to come. It all must come – before our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ can fulfill His prophecy and return.

Destruction and severe times are inevitable. Yet God has made provision for you in the days that are coming. Stay faithful and unwavering in your walk. Listen for the Holy Spirit to speak, then obey His every word. Stand firm on the Rock that is Jesus for your God is greater than he who is in this world. He is still very much alive and in complete control of everyone and everything.

Satan is a counterfeit master. His entire existence is based off of emulating everything that is godly and everything that belongs to God. His efforts have deceived many.

Satan was once an angel who lived in God’s Heavenly Kingdom. His privileged position granted him first-hand knowledge of God’s Kingdom secrets including how God ruled the Heavens and placement of God’s angelic hierarchy. The following scripture from the Holy Bible explains Satan’s expulsion from Heaven.

“And war broke out in Heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Then I heard a loud voice saying in Heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the Kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. Therefore rejoice, O Heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.” Revelation 12:7-12

After Satan was expelled from Heaven, along with other fallen angels who followed him, he set up shop, so to speak, here on Earth. He has been disrupting the world, corrupting the people and trying his best to emulate God in everything he does in an effort to continue to deceive the people. .

Make no mistake, the devil does have power. However, you must remember that the devil is also a created being – a God-created being. The power he was given, by God, is like a pebble compared to the mountain-size sovereignty, power and majestic rule of God.

Many of you may wonder why God didn’t remove Satan’s power from him when he was thrown out of Heaven. Simply, because the devil has a job to do, just like you and me. God uses the limited amount of power that the devil has to sift the evil out of this world. God has Satan on a leash. Yes, he is wreaking havoc, but only for a time and only under the control of almighty God. When his time is up, not only will the devil be cast down into the fiery pit of Hell, he will be taking all of his counterparts along with him. And he knows this. Hopefully, that won’t include you.

Because the devil knows his time is short – and it really is – things in the demonic realm are really ramping up. The interesting, and almost amusing, thing about all of this is that Satan still believes – or at least that’s what he has convinced his followers – that somehow his original, diabolical plan to ‘take over the world’ is still going to happen. At least, he’s going to give it his best shot. However, we Believers have already read the story and we know how it will end. Jesus will return and He, and all who follow Him, will be victorious.

As stated above, the devil is a counterfeit master. He copies everything that belongs to God. The office of a Seer Prophet, and the gifts that come along with this office such as dreams, visions, discerning of spirits, words of knowledge, etc. were all established by God and were all given by God. Satan knows this. So he uses his demons and the limited amount of demonic power they and he have to indwell his followers – no it’s not the people who has the power, it’s the demons – and these people are put into place to use this demonic power, demonically charged spells, demonically charged potions, etc. to emulate the Holy Spirit’s gifts that are given by God. There is no such thing as a Seer that serves the devil. Only people who serve the devil who are counterfeit copies of the originals.

These demon spirit-indwelled counterfeits are the witches, the fortune tellers, the spiritualists, the necromancers, etc. who take the people’s money and exploit their ignorance, their curiosity, their grief, their vulnerabilities, etc. Not to mention, these evil-indwelled people are helping people of all ages – many who are not aware of the danger they are engaging in – to open doors to demon-possession and demonic attacks on their lives, the lives of their children, their family members and generations yet to come. This is how generational curses get started.

I hope I have cleared up some confusion and answered some questions concerning magic and the truth behind all forms of witchcraft, demonic spirits and false seer prophets.

“Lord, who has believed our message? To whom has the Lord revealed His powerful arm?” John 12:38

I have experienced dreams, visions and words of knowledge since I was a child. However, at the time, I did not understand what they were and why I was having them. It wasn’t until the year 2001, at the direction of my husband, that I began the process of journaling my experiences.

On January 23, 2017, I shared a dream with my husband. In the dream, the Lord had given me a message for him. Later that day, my husband (an apostle), heard the Lord say in his spirit: “If there is a prophet among you, I will make Myself known to them through dreams and visions.” After my husband shared God’s message with me, I prayed and asked the Lord, Himself, to confirm His word with me concerning my call.

On January 24, 2017 at 3:30 a.m., I received a vision from the Lord. In this vision, God answered my prayer. In large, beautifully ornate capital letters, God confirmed my call. I was shown only one word: SEER.

The dreams, visions and supernatural encounters I have experienced over the years have revealed messages to me concerning my life, my family, my friends – and most importantly, God’s people – His Church.

Prophets are called to not just deliver God’s messages. Very often, they are called to live out, in their personal lives, those very same messages. It is not uncommon for a prophet of God to experience twists, turns, upsets and upheaval in their natural lives that reflect and directly correlate with the divine messages they have been given to deliver.

It was very common for the prophets of old to enact, real time, the prophetic word that was given to them for the people of Israel. Jonah’s hellish experience of three days and three nights spent in the belly of a great fish directly correlates with Jesus’ three days and three nights in “the heart of the earth.” The prophet Hosea was commanded by God to marry a prostitute to imply God’s grievance with the people of Israel as they were engaging in an adulterous relationship with the Lord. And there are many more references in the Bible just like these.

It appears that God requires these up-front and personal encounters so that the prophet can better impart a more effective, passionate and heart-felt prophetic word. The end result is a heart-felt message that can only come from the perspective of one who can relate through their first-hand experiences. As unusual as this may seem, no one can deny this biblical fact as it is seen throughout the accounts of many of the prophets of old.

As a prophet, I can personally attest to this fact and find this supernatural phenomenon to be an unpleasant, but apparently necessary, ‘perk’ that comes along with the prophetic territory.

I share some of my ‘perkish’ experiences and others in a book I am currently writing and planning to release early this Winter entitled Chronicles Of A Seer Prophet.

If there are other prophets and seer prophets out there who have had experiences such as these, I’d love to hear from you.

On May 13th, 2017, I received a dream from the Lord. I have posted this dream previously in my blog, but I feel an urgency to repost this message again…

God is consistently reaching out to His people in these last days. He is warning His Church, the Body of Christ, to get their “house” in order for He is preparing them for the imminent return of Jesus Christ.

In this dream, I was the subject the Lord used to deliver this message. I saw myself managing a multi-family community. In the community, there were many buildings. In each building were two single-story apartments on the left – one on the top-level and the other on the lower-level – and one two-story townhouse on the right. I saw myself going from building to building examining everyone’s home in the community for cleanliness. I checked the outside and then I checked the inside. I also went to the rear of the house and checked the patios and porches as well. I examined each apartment and townhouse thoroughly for cleanliness and I noted any trash or debris. At the homes where I found trash, I left a notice for the residents to remove it all and informed them that they were in violation. Each notice included a warning that also informed them that I would be returning soon but on an unspecified date. The notice stated that when I returned, a penalty would be imposed on those who chose to ignore my warning and remain in violation. Those residents would incur a penalty that included the enforcement of an eviction.

Some of the residents in the community were obedient and heeded my warning by quickly cleaning their home and removing all the trash. Yet, some were complacent, not thinking it important, and did nothing at all. Others were angry and insisted that I explain to them why they had to comply with my rules. For they felt it was their life and their home therefore, they should be able to live it any way they chose. I explained to these residents that the property they were living on belonged to me and, therefore, I had the right to impose and enforce any rule I felt necessary to keep my property in good condition. I explained to them that they would not live in my community forever, for one day they would have to move on. But while they were here, it would be wise for them to abide by my rules and learn from them for they were in place only for their good. I also informed them that one day, they would desire to move to a more luxurious home. When that day came, they would require a recommendation and referral from me before they would be permitted to move there. I further explained that without my approval, the only type of home they would be able to access would be substandard and guaranteed to be not to their liking. I then awoke from this dream.

Later, the Lord gave me the interpretation… He showed me that in the dream, I was the Landlord and was representing Jesus, the Master Property Manager. The buildings in this dream represented locations all over the world. The apartments and town homes represented three categories of people who make up this world. There were the lower-level apartments that represented the poor, those who are considered the least in this world. There were the upper-level apartments that represented those who are considered above the least in this world. Then there were the two-story townhouses that represented the wealthy and rich in this world. In the dream, they all lived together in one building for the Lord is no respecter of persons who sees and treats everyone the same. We must all meet His requirements and we are all expected to comply regardless of who we are and what we have. My access to all of the homes represents the Lord and His access to everything in our lives. Nothing we do and nothing we feel is hidden from Him. I examined the outside of the home which represents the outer appearance that we show to the world. I examined the interior of the home which represents our motives and intentions that are hidden inside of our hearts. Finally, while inside the homes, I examined the patios and porches which represent the secret trash we hold on to and are hesitant to get rid of and hand over to the Lord.  There is nothing we can hide from God. He sees it all.

Child of God, the Lord is giving you every chance to repent and return to Him. He is speaking to you personally which is the conviction you are experiencing and He is bringing others to warn you as well. You have been adequately prepared and warned. There will be no excuses when your time comes to leave this life and move on into eternity. When that time comes, are you sure about where you will go? Is your life cluttered with the trash of sin and disobedience? If so, will you heed God’s warning and rid yourself of it all before it is too late? When Jesus returns, will you be in right standing with Him? Will you receive a good reference and be approved to move on into the glorious presence of the Lord? Or will you be denied and rejected? Quite simply, will you make it into Heaven or are your destined for Hell? There are many, many former Christians who are spending eternity there and regret not heeding the voice of the Lord when they had the chance. The choice is truly yours.

“Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him. For God’s temple is Holy, and you are that temple.” 1 Corinthians 3:16-17

Early in the evening of August 17, 2017, I received a very disturbing vision… It was early and I was not quite ready to retire for the evening. Yet, I felt unusually tired so I decided to lie down for just a little while. As I laid down to rest, I suddenly became extremely sleepy. I felt as if I had been drugged and sleep came on me pretty quickly. The moment I closed my eyes, I immediately had a very quick and very vivid vision: I saw a large, black fly come into view then it landed on my left arm. I was alarmed so I immediately brushed the fly off with my right hand then I awoke very suddenly. I gasped for air then sat straight up in the bed. I stood by the bed and tried to process what had just happened. Then the Lord quickly gave me the interpretation of the vision…

Dreams are very much like riddles. They have to be solved. They can also be compared to parables like the ones Jesus told in the Bible. Dreams are not always immediately understood. Often, it can take days, weeks, months and even years to receive a full interpretation. However, every once in a while, depending upon the urgency and timeliness of the situation, the Lord will give me an immediate interpretation, as He did in this case. Visions are usually shorter with messages that are a little easier to understand.

To be quite honest, I don’t understand why there is so much mystery surrounding dreams and visions. I’ve always felt that it would be so much easier if God would simply tell me what it is He wants me to know. However, I am not God and He is. So we do it His way. I do believe, however, that I have found a clue in Scripture that speaks to this. It states: “It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honor of kings is to search out a matter.” (Proverbs 25:2)

Every dream and vision from God is extremely important. Every detail is symbolic and has significant meaning. The Lord does not give dreams for entertainment purposes. The messages they deliver can often be a matter of life and death. These messages often reveal information about others for the purpose of edification, for warnings, for rebuke, for encouragement, to prepare someone for something that is to come as well as share information that requires prayer on behalf of others. When these messages are revealed, they must be heeded. It might surprise you to know that all dreams do not come from God, as the devil can influence dreams as well.  If you dream, be sure to pray and ask God if the dream was from Him and if so, ask Him to direct you concerning it.

I dream almost every night. A fair amount of the dreams I receive are concerning personal details about my life, family members and other people. God also often gives me messages for the Church, the Body of Christ, as a whole. This was the case with this particular vision.

Last year, (2016) the Lord showed me, in a dream, a rod being placed in my left hand. It was revealed that this rod further confirmed my call as a Seer Prophet and represented the authority God has given me, through Jesus Christ, to come against demonic forces. In a different experience and at a different time, the Lord communicated to me that in my right hand He has also placed power, also given through Jesus Christ, to fight these demonic forces. Symbolically, I came to understand that where dreams and visions are concerned, the left represents authority and the right represents power. This authority and power, by the way, is given to every born-again Believer. Although Christians should not fear Satan, this does not mean that we are immune to the temptations he places before us.

We must be aware of the presence of evil in this world. We must understand that our enemies are not mere people, but demonic forces that operate through these people. The Bible says, “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” (Ephesians 6:12) The truth is that God has allowed Satan a certain amount of temporary power and influence in this world. However, it is also true that Satan and every other spiritual being is still subject to God’s sovereign control.

As I mentioned earlier, dreams and visions are symbolic images that reveal important messages from God. Concerning the vision I had, the Lord revealed to me that the large fly that flew in represented a demonic attack that will soon come against the followers of Jesus Christ. Do not be alarmed. Instead be prepared. We have been given everything we need to counteract this attack. In the vision, the fly landed on my left arm. And if you remember, the left side represents authority. The enemy will try to come against you, the Believer, and the authority the Lord has given you to fight against him. You must be on guard against this attack. In the vision, I quickly brushed the fly off my left arm with my right hand. If you remember, the right side represents power. This is telling me that you have been given the power to quickly come against every demonic attack that tries to come against you. The key word here is quickly. Do not allow sin of any kind to come into your life and linger. If someone hurts you, forgive them quickly. If you fall to temptation, quickly repent and turn from it. Do not allow things like anger, bitterness, unforgiveness, immorality, etc. to remain in your life. This represents filth and garbage in your life. Flies are attracted to such things. Satan is an evil pestilence who wants to kill, steal and destroy you. He literally wants to suck the life out of you – and he will if you allow him.

Following are powerful tools that you have at your disposal to defeat the enemy.

Don’t step out the door without it. Be sure you are not allowing barriers like sin, unforgiveness, hatred and bitterness to block your right standing with God. This will bind the hands of God from covering you and will prevent your prayers from being answered. Quite simply, without it you are helpless against the enemy and have already lost the battle.

God hears the prayers of the righteous. Use your authority to speak forth powerful words for prayer, to bind up the demonic powers of Satan and to loose the many blessings God has for you.

Equip yourself with spiritual armor.  Scripture states:  “Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all Believers everywhere.” Ephesians 6:10-18

Yes, you have been given the authority to cast out demons. If you find that you have come up against resistance with more difficult cases of demonic attacks, contact a Spirit-filled Believer in the Church body who has been given special authority such as those who are experienced in deliverance ministry to assist you. “These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in My name,” Mark 16:17

Become familiar with then fully utilize the spiritual gifts the Lord has given you to fight your adversary. If you don’t know what your gifts are, pray and ask God to reveal them to you.Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the Church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do His work and build up the Church, the body of Christ.” Ephesians 4:11-12

As a Believer, God has assigned His holy angels to assist you in your walk with Jesus Christ and to aid you in this spiritual battle. They are waiting to be dispatched by God for your defense. Call out to God and ask that He send them to guard and protect you and your home from the attacks of the enemy. If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; for He will order His angels to protect you wherever you go.” Psalm 91:9-11

Read the Word. Know the Word. Use the Word. The holy Scriptures have all the wisdom you need to take on this world and all of its evil counterparts. Start studying. “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,” 2 Timothy 3:16

“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.” 2 Corinthians 12:14

Need I say more.

As you can see, you have many weapons in your spiritual arsenal. Make sure that you use them all. The authority and power to overcome the attacks of Satan belong only to the followers of Jesus Christ and every true Believer has been called to fight. We are all called for different responsibilities within the Church Body. Nevertheless, we have all been equipped to fight this battle the same. The moment you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you enlisted in spiritual warfare. Like it or not, you are in this fight to the finish. So, you might as well commit yourself to doing all you can to win.

Allow me to encourage you. In the midst of it all, do not despair for there is good news! Jesus Christ has already achieved the victory. All you have to do is walk it out.

Walk mightily with the Lord and be blessed.

“And the Lord said to Samuel, …”I will carry out against Eli everything I spoke against his family – from beginning to end. For I told him that I would judge his family forever because of the sin he knew about; his sons blasphemed God, and he failed to restrain them. Therefore I swore to the house of Eli: ‘The guilt of Eli’s house will never be atoned for by sacrifice or offering.'” 1 Samuel 3:12-14

After God witnessed the evil that was committed by Eli’s adult sons, Hophni and Phinehas, He warned Eli, the priest, to put a stop to it all. The sins of Eli’s sons caused God’s people to stumble and because of them, “men abhored the offering of the Lord.”  1 Samuel 2:17

When Eli ignored God’s warning, God sent a prophet to deliver a message to Eli “in the name of the Lord.” The prophet pronounced God’s judgment over Eli informing him that God had found him guilty of not heeding the voice of the Lord and honoring his adult sons more than he honored God (1 Samuel 2: 27-30). Therefore God would cut off Eli and his entire family.

Although Eli had spoken to his sons about their sinful behavior, he did not do everything he could have done to put a stop to it. As a parent and as one who had neglected his spiritual authority, God judged Eli for God said, “He failed to restrain them.” 1 Samuel 3:13

Child of God, are you taking a passive position concerning the sin you are aware of in the lives of your family and friends? Are you choosing to be silent thinking “they are adults and are responsible for their own actions and decisions.” As a Believer, you have a responsibility to speak the truth of God’s Word into the lives of those God has placed around you. If you are obedient to share God’s Word concerning the sin of your family and friends and nothing comes of it, their sin is on them alone. However, if you have the opportunity to share God’s Word concerning their sin and yet you choose not to, you will take part in the judgement of their sin.

Eli did not heed the warning of the Lord to do all he could to put a stop to the sins that were committed by his sons, therefore God also judged Eli. To confirm the truth of God’s word, the Lord told Eli that he would witness a terrible thing: “What will happen to your two sons will be a sign to youthey will both die on the same day.” 1 Samuel 2:34

When God’s judgement came to past, not only did Eli’s sons die, Eli died as well.

“Whoever knows the right thing to do but fails to do it, for him it is sin.” James 4:17

Parenting is serious business and it carries with it serious consequences, especially for Believers. We have a responsibility to speak the truth of God’s Word to the lives of our children, in love. God does not take lightly anything we do, or do not do, that allows sin to creates a stumbling block for others. “If you cause one of these little ones who trust in Me to fall into sin, it would be better for you to have a large millstone tied around your neck and be drowned in the depths of the sea.” Matthew 18:6

Albeit true, parenting children of all ages can be a challenge. Many people believe that their adult status excludes them from needing the advice of their parents. Surprisingly, many Christian parents feel the same. Unfortunately, our society today encourages this attitude. This is another form of spiritual warfare.

Through this kind of attack, the enemy tries to introduce conflict and strife into the family by aiming at the those at the head as well as those who have spiritual authority. He knows that if he can weaken the bond between parents and their children, he has a chance to cause the entire family unit to self destruct. You cannot control the actions of others, but you can remove yourself from the hands of the enemy by choosing to be obedient to God. God’s way is the only way to strengthen and fortify your family against the relentless attacks of the enemy.

“Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.” Proverbs 127:1

The enemy counts on another factor that contributes to the breakdown of families. His efforts throughout the ages to destroy, misrepresent and mock anything associated with God has poisoned the minds of the people causing society to disregard all that God regards. At the top of this list of priorities is the family and the proper order of relationships within the family.

The authority, rights and responsibilities of parents today have been under attack for quite some time. This is evident as we witness an unprecedented acceptance and encouraging of disrespect and dishonor among our children, as well as within our society, for parents and our elders in general. We can also see this trickle down into the family unit.

Many Christian parents today are more concerned with becoming friends with their children than they are about being accountable to God. In an effort to keep the peace and avoid conflict in the family, many parents are keeping quiet and avoiding confrontation where sin in the family is concerned. This is unacceptable in God’s eyes. As children of the King, they are subjecting themselves to His judgement.

Parents have many responsibilities. Parents who are Believers have even more. They are commanded, by God, to live as well as teach His Word, demonstrate unconditional love, encourage as well as correct and admonishment their young and adult children, everytime it is necessary. The role of a parent never changes – regardless of the age of your child. Parents, love your children but obey God and leave the consequences up to Him.

“Anyone who wants to be My follower must love Me far more than he does his own father, mother, wife, children, brothers and sisters – and yes even his own life – otherwise he cannot be My disciple.” Luke 14:26

God holds your adult children responsible for their own life, their own decisions and their own choices. When time comes, they, like you, will be held accountable and judged for it all. However, when they become adults and leave their parents’ home, the responsibility of their parents does not leave with them. It remains with the parents until the Lord takes the parents home to be with Him.

If your adult child asks for your advice, pray for God’s guidance and give them God’s Word, in love, concerning that matter. If God has revealed to you sin in the life of your child, again, pray for God’s guidance and give them God’s Word, in love, concerning that matter. Either way, passivity and silence is not option.

Through God’s Word, He has warned us and is preparing His children for the evil times that are to come, and is even already here, in these last days: “In the last days, there will be very difficult times. For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God.” 2 Timothy 3:1-5

Parents, be encouraged. In this wicked, disrespectful generation, God knows that your job is not an easy one. However, you must remember that your Father in Heaven is with you. Everything you do, in obedience to God, will be counted as righteousness towards you and all that God requires of you as parents.

Your children may not realize it now, but through you God is working it all out for their good as well. “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose for them.” Romans 8:28

People, of all ages, who dishonor and disrespect their parents are displeasing to God. The Lord commands us to always honor our fathers and mothers. This is without exceptions. Those who disobey this command should heed this warning to repent of this sin and turn away from it. For it is so written: “Blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the Lord.”  Psalm 119:1

It is also written:  “God blesses those who honor their parents with a good life and a long life. But He punishes and destroys those who curse or dishonor their parents.” Proverbs 20:20

Heavenly Father, I humbly come before You as Your child. I confess to You that I am redeemed by the Blood of Your son, Jesus. Look upon me, Lord, and know the true intent of my heart for nothing is hidden from You. I come before You this day to confess, repent and turn away from all my sins for I desire to be a clean and holy vessel before you. I ask for Your forgiveness, Lord, and I ask that You cleanse me from every sin I have ever knowingly and unknowingly committed. (Now confess your known sin). Thank You, Lord. By faith, I receive Your forgiveness. And by faith, I forgive myself. Father, I come before You to also confess the sins of my ancestors. I ask that You deliver me, and my family, from any and all generational curses that have come due to sin that was committed by those who came before me. I ask that You release me from the evil power attached to every curse. Now, by the authority given to me in Your name, I cancel any and all curses that have come upon me, and my family, as the result of my own sins. Thank You, Lord. I ask and pray in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.

blessings-and-curses“I (says the Lord) call Heaven and Earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;” Deuteronomy 30:19

Child of God, everything you do and say is always subject to God’s law. Even though the consequences of what you do and say may not immediately be seen in the natural, rest assured that everything immediately manifests in the spiritual realm in the former of either a blessing or a curse. We reap God’s blessings when we obey God. We suffer the consequences of God’s curses when we disobey God.

“For those blessed by Him will inherit the land, but those cursed by Him will be cut off.” Psalm 37:22

God loves His children and God loves to bless His children. However, God is a righteous, just and Holy God. He cannot violate His own statutes. Even in the light of God’s love for us, conditions He has set before Heaven and earth are still subject to Him and must be met. Therefore, He gives us His word to keep us in line. He tells us, very simply and very clearly, to “seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness and everything we need will be added to us.” (Matthew 6:33)

“Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His Commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the Earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God.” Deuteronomy 28: 1-2

God’s blessings also come by way of circumstances that are not always comfortable to us or convenient for us. God will often place trials and tests before us that serve to demonstrate our faith in Him. An example of this is seen in the story of Abraham when God asked him to sacrifice his beloved son, Isaac. Abraham didn’t hesitate to do the ‘hard thing’ for above everything else, he trusted God. Abraham knew, with all his heart, that God loved him so therefore he trusted God. He knew that God requires of us only what is in our best interest. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord. “Plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11

What God asked Abraham to do did not have to make sense to him for Abraham knew that God always honors His word. He knew that God had made him a promise that not yet come to past. Abraham may not have understood everything God had asked him to do, but he his blind faith in God didn’t require him to. Abraham did not have to see the circumstance clearly or understand the circumstance clearly for he knew God did. In all things, it pays to know God.

“For we walk by faith and not by sight.” 2 Corinthians 5:6

Below, I have listed some of the blessings, according to Deuteronomy 28, that we can expect to receive when we are obedient and in right relationship with the Lord.

  • Exaltation
  • Fruitfulness
  • Health
  • Prosperity & Success
  • Victory
  • Being the head and not the tail in life
  • Being above and not beneath in life

Child of God, many of God’s people suffer unnecessarily. As a Believer, you are just as susceptible to the effects of sin as non-believers. However, the consequences for Believers are far worse. For when you violate God’s Word, not only are you subjectin yourself and others to curses that are associated with this violation, you block the blessings that you, as a child of God, are entitled to. You also put up a barrier between you and God preventing Him from hear and answering your prayers.

“But if you will not obey the voice of the Lord your God or be careful to do all His Commandments and His statutes that I command you today, then all these curses shall come upon you and overtake you. Cursed shall you be in the city and cursed shall you be in the field.” Deuteronomy 28:15

Below, I have listed some of the curses, according to Deuteronomy 28, that can afflict when one is disobedient and falls out of right relationship with the Lord.

  • Humiliation
  • Barrenness
  • Illnesses of all kinds
  • Poverty
  • Perpetual Failure
  • Perpetual Defeat
  • Being the tail and not the head
  • Being beneath and not above

  • Mental/Emotional Breakdowns
  • Repeated or chronic illnesses (especially those that are generational and/or cannot be diagnosed by doctors.)
  • Female problems: Barrenness, repeat miscarriages, issues with menstruation, problems with female organs
  • Divorce and generational breakdowns of marriages & families
  • Perpetual financial problems
  • Being accident prone
  • A family history of suicides and unnatural deaths

If sin is allowed to remain in the life of a Believer, God will turn them over to the tormenting, supernatural, demonic power of the curse. If these curses are not broken, according to the conditions set by God, they are passed down from one generation to the other. This is called a generational curse.

Generational curses are family curses. They are the result of sin and rebellion against God.

  • Placing other gods before the one and only true God
  • Practicing idolatry – this includes all forms of the occult
  • Disrespecting/dishonoring parents
  • Deceitfulness towards your neighbor
  • Injustice towards the weak or the helpless
  • Participating in illicit or unnatural sex, including incest
  • Cursing God’s chosen ones
  • Anti-Semitism (cursing the Jewish people)
  • Knowing God but choosing to turn from Him to trust in man or self
  • Theft and lying
  • Stinginess towards God
  • Perverting the gospel of Jesus Christ
  • Falsely claiming to be a mouthpiece of God or falsely speaking on behalf of God
  • Making covenants with people who make covenants with false gods, (including affiliations with the demonic, Freemasons, Illuminati, etc.)
  • By bringing anything associated with idolatry or the occult into your house, you also bring on a curse by giving Satan right of access into your life and the lives of others under your authority.

  • Confusion/Double Mindedness
  • Depression
  • Family Illnesses & Diseases
  • Baronness, Impotence & Female Problems
  • Family Breakdowns & Divorce
  • Lack, Poverty & Unproductiveness
  • A Yoke of Debt
  • No Ambition, Vision or Direction
  • Bondage & Slavery To Sin

Curses can also come by way of spoken words, written words and words spoken inwardly by those who have authority over us. Either through relationship or authoritative position, there is power behind the words that are released in our lives. For example, husbands have authority over their wives and therefore have the power to bless, as well as curse, by their words. Fathers and mothers have authority over their children and therefore have the power to bless, as well as curse, by their words. Churches have authority over their congregation and therefore have the power to bless, as well as curse, by their words. Teachers have authority over their students and they therefore have the power to bless, as well as curse, by their words.

People also have authority over themselves and therefore have the power to self-impose blessings and curses by their own words. Be careful to thoughtfully choose what you say about yourself. Speak forth words that build-up, encourage and bless. By quoting the edifying words of scripture, you speak the words of life over yourself and others. “I shall not die, but live and declare the works of the Lord.” Psalm 118:17

Curses are not only associated with sin and words, they can also be attached to physical objects. Items such as these are forms of idolatry and are often objects of witchcraft.

Anything can be dedicated to evil for demonic purposes such as objects that have had spells cast on them as well as objects used in occult ceremonies. These objects take on dark, demonic entities that carry curses that can gain access to you, and your family, if you take possession of them and allow them into your home.

My husband and I received a ‘gift’ from friends not long ago. The gift was a framed picture of four African American people performing a ballet. After receiving the portrait, I expressed to my husband that I didn’t particularly care for it but I agreed to take possession of it because he expressed an interest in it. After we arrived home, I hung the picture in our master bathroom located inside of our bedroom. Later that afternoon, my husband and I decided to organize our bedroom closet, so he placed a large black plastic bag at the end of our bed and used it to dispose of trash. That evening, after I went to bed, my continued to clean our closet. It was during that time that he saw the ballet picture hanging on the wall and noticed demonic hand signs on the fingers of one of the women in the picture. He then removed the picture from the wall and threw it away in the black plastic bag that sat on the floor at the end of our bed. Later that night, I awoke to a very disturbing vision. I felt a dark presence in the room and when I looked up, there at the foot of our bed (where the black plastic bag had been placed), I saw four familiar spirits manifesting in the form of African Americans. They stood side by side at the foot of my bed smiling at me. I awoke my husband and told him what I had seen. He then explain to me that hours before, he had thrown the ballet picture into the black plastic bag that sat on the floor at the foot of our bed. That morning, my husband removed the picture from the bag and burned it. Afterwards, we anointed and prayed over the entire house. I never saw the spirits again.

Jesus Christ has redeemed us from the power of the curse however, we must first meet His conditions for us and our families to be delivered from its effects.

  • Identify and repent of all sin you have committed.
  • Repent on behalf of your ancestors before you and the sins they committed that were passed down.
  • Clean house by getting rid of and/or destroying every idolatrous object that carries a curse. This can include music, videos, various forms of decor, art, books, portraits, paintings, religious and ethnic artifacts, curios, collections, etc. Do your research.
  • Renounce your sin, your ancestors sin as well as everything that was in your possession and associated with Satan
  • Forgive yourself and receive God’s forgiveness in Jesus’ name.

Lord Jesus Christ, I believe You are the son of God and I believe You are the only way to God. I believe You died on the cross for my sins and I believe You rose from the dead and are now ruling at the right hand of Your Father and mine. On the cross, You were made a curse that I might be redeemed from the demonic power of the curse and enter into Your blessings. Lord, I confess all sins that were committed by me as well as by my ancestors and I ask for Your forgiveness. I forgive every person who has ever harmed me. I forgive them as I would have You forgive me. I also forgive myself. I renounce all contact with the occult and idolatry in every form, and I commit myself to getting rid of every object that is associated with them. Now, having received by faith Your forgiveness, by the authority I have in You, I and those who are under my authority are released from every curse that has come upon us. In the name of Jesus I pray. I declare it and I receive it by faith in Your name. Amen.

Last night, I had an awful dream that the end of time had come.

The trumpet had been sounded and life on Earth was done.

An Angel stood one foot on land and another foot on sea.

And as I tried to kneel and pray, a Voice said unto me,

“It’s standing room! No time for woes! It’s much too late to pray!

It’s standing room! It’s time to go! This is God’s great Judgment Day!”

People filled the churches as far as eyes could see.

I heard a cry for mercy then realized it was me.

I saw the Savior then appear as He split the Eastern sky.

There were tears of joy on a Christian’s face yet I saw the sinners cry.

I tried to touch His Holy hand and with one last feeble plea

I cried again, “Have mercy, Lord! Have mercy, Lord, on me!”

I saw a tear come to His eye as He turned my soul away.

I didn’t know Him yesterday, so He knew me not today.

The Earth was burning all around and the world went up in smoke,

And as the flames engulfed me, I thanked God that I awoke.

I got out my bed and on my knees and you should have heard me pray

For in my dream I saw the fate of God’s great Judgement Day.

An excerpt from the testimony of Howard Pittman – author of the book, Placebo.

Child of God, do not be deceived! In this world that is consumed with lies and deception, you MUST KNOW by now that all that glitters is most definitely not gold.

This message is addressed to those professing Christians who are playing Church! Your day will soon come to an end…

It may surprise you to learn that only a mere 20% of true, born again Believers – those who are committed followers of Jesus Christ – will make it into Heave. While a staggering 80% of the evangelical Church – not the world as a whole, but the Church – will go to Hell. There are many, many Christians who are living complacent, back-slidden lives believing they are ‘good enough’ for God. You are wrong and you are sadly mistaken. God is a Holy God and He is coming to receive nothing less than a Holy Bride. He will have Her no other way.

This 80% of professing Christians will include many, young and old, who say they love the Lord but whose lives say otherwise. This 80% will include many leaders who are called to serve in the Church but who are deceiving the Body of Christ. This 80% will include the unholy, the unrighteous, the sexually immoral, the prideful, the arrogant, idolaters, liars, adulterers, homosexuals, murderers, thieves, drunkards, revilers, swindlers and the greedy. I have a question for you, Child of God. Will this 80% include you?

Be not deceived. Jesus IS coming soon to receive His Bride. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 5:25-27 that “Christ loved the Church and gave Himself up for Her, that He might sanctify Her, having cleansed Her by the washing of water with the Word, so that He might present the Church to Himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that She might be Holy and without blemish.”

Jesus is coming soon for His glorious Church. Jesus is coming soon to receive His People who will be Holy and who are set apart for Him alone. Do not become lax in your living my brother and sister. I heard someone recently say that he believes people are becoming tired of hearing “get ready, get ready for Jesus is coming soon!” That they are  comfortable in hearing it. That this talk is quickly becoming the proverbial “cry wolf” statement for many, including the Church. The truth is that Jesus is tarrying. He is tarrying for you. Jesus is tarrying for your family and for your loved ones. He is trying to give you time to get your act together. Yet, if you look around you, you can clearly see that time is winding down. Do not be like the foolish virgins in Matthew 25 of the Scriptures.

It tells us that “The Kingdom of Heaven will be like ten bridesmaids who took their lamps and went to meet the Bridegroom. Five of them were foolish and five were wise. The five foolish virgins did not take enough olive oil for their lamps, but the other five were wise enough to take more than just enough oil. When the Bridegroom was delayed, they all became drowsy and fell asleep. “Then, at midnight, they were awaken by the shout, ‘Look, the Bridegroom is coming! Come out and meet Him!’ All the wise bridesmaids got up and prepared their lamps. Then the five foolish ones, in realizing they had no oil, asked the wise ones for some of theirs because their lamps were going out. But being wise, those virgins replied, “We don’t have enough for all of us. Go out and buy some oil for yourselves.” But while the foolish virgins were out getting oil, the Bridegroom came. Those who were ready, went in with Him to the marriage feast, and the door was locked behind them. Later, when the five foolish bridesmaid returned, they found themselves outside calling to the Lord, “Lord! Lord! Open the door for us!” But the Bridegroom called back them, “I do not know you!”

You, Child of God, must be ready at all times and you must keep watch! For none of us know the day nor the hour of Jesus’ return. I invite you to follow me on my blog, A Seer 4 Jesus and on Facebook at the same name. And I invite you to subscribe to my Youtube Ministry Channel, also called A Seer 4 Jesus for I have many more messages, such as this, that I will be delivering for the purpose of edifying, inspiring and equipping you, the Body of Christ, and I don’t want you to miss a single one. So, until next time, may God’s blessings be upon you and overtake you.

So, what’s your pleasure? Pornography, adultery, fornication, seduction, lasciviousness, prostitution, homosexuality, incest, strange flesh… Whatever form of sexual immorality you desire, the devil is selling it.

Human sexuality is one of the most beautiful gifts God has given His children here on Earth. Unfortunately, when sin found its way into the world, what was only reserved for the sanctity of Holy matrimony has become used and abused in every evil way immaginable.

Child of God, the bodies of Believers (followers of Jesus Christ) are the temples of the Holy Spirit. Would you tear down and destroy your own house? Of course not. Seek and strive to emulate the righteousness and holiness of the Lord with all your might and flee from sexual immorality! All other sins are committed outside of the body but he or she who commits sexual sins sin against God and their own body. (1 Corinthians 6:18)

Pagan idol worship, including that of Satan, not only took place in the biblical days, it is still alive and active today. This ungodly practice often involves perverse and immoral sexual acts (including beastiality) that are performed in ‘temples’ of false gods. Everything Satan does is for the purpose of mocking God and defiling all that is Holy. The detestable acts people engaged/engage in for pagan idol worship is no different. When a Believer uses their physical body to perform sexually immoral acts, they are imitating these pagan worship practices. They are, in essence, flaunting their sexual sin in the face of God while profaning His Holy temple with acts He considers detestable.

Beloved, once you make a conscious decision to repent and renounce sexual immorality, be done with it. Move on and seek the pleasures God has for you. However, if you find that you are not able to release this sin, you may be supporting a demonically inspired spiritual stronghold called Lust.

Why is it that so many professing Christians are giving themselves over to their sexual sin while others are able to walk away from it? There is a reason that goes deeper than many may want to admit. It will take the power you find through a relationship with Jesus Christ to deliver you. You cannot do it on your own…

The stronghold of Lust, as well as every other stronghold, is destructive. Not only will it separate you from God, it wants to gain control over your life and destroy all God has for you.  Lust is a form of idol-worship as it caters to the selfish, self-pleasing desires of the flesh. In it, you are serving self. You are not serving God. If this is you, it is imperative that you seek the Lord for deliverance from this spirit.

Do not be deceived. God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature, will reap destruction. The one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit, will reap eternal life.”  Galatians 6:7-8

Child of God, consider this scenario…

Someone you know becomes a new follower of Jesus Christ. Not long after committing their life to the Lord, they see you out somewhere. They approach you and this is what they say: “I recently gave my life to Jesus. I wish I had known about the goodness of God years ago. It would have saved me, as well as so many others in my life, a lot of heartache, pain and sin that we all now have to account for. I have known you for quite a while and didn’t know that you were a Christian. Why didn’t you tell me about Jesus?”

Worse yet, what if this same person died in sin and you realized, much too late, that you could have made a difference in their life if you had only taken the time or the opportunity to tell them about Jesus?

Yes. YOU could have made the difference.

Do you think the Lord holds us, who are recipients of God’s grace and mercy, accountable for sharing this gift with others? Yes, He does.

Many Christians live their lives in silence choosing not to openly talk about Jesus. Neither are there many Christian willing and ready to share their testimonies about all God has done for them. Instead, they allow the ‘spirit of fear’ to close their mouths and keep them from saying anything that might cause them to be uncomfortable, ridiculed or even ostracized from family members, friends and others they know.

Here the test. If you knew God holds you responsible for not sharing the reason for the Hope that is in you, what would you do differently?

As a Christian, you are required to share your faith (the Gospel of Jesus Christ) with everyone you know. This includes family members, friends, neighbors, coworkers and others God has placed in your path? If you allow the ‘spirit of fear’ to close your mouth, the blood of these people could very well be on your hands.

Child of God, you are crucial to God’s plan here on this Earth. You play a very important part in the destruction of Satan as well as the salvation of others. The Bible tells us that we (Christians) have conquered Satan by the blood of the Lamb (Jesus Christ) and by the word of our testimony. This means God will hold you accountable for not doing your part. Jesus has given all of His followers the responsibility and the privilege to take part in the Great Commission which instructs His disciples (you and I) to go out and make other disciples of all the nations. We are to do this through ministry, evangelism and baptism. This is impossible to achieve with a closed mouth.

Beloved, we are not saved simply so that we can avoid Hell and go to Heaven. If this were so, God would take us Home immediately upon receiving Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. We are saved, empowered by the authority of Jesus Christ then filled with the Holy Spirit, not for the fun of it, but because we have a job to do. That job consists of playing a part in the saving of others. This starts with the sharing of your testimony of God’s goodness.

No, you are not responsible for saving anyone. Only God can do that. Some of us are assigned to plant the seed while others are assigned to water that plant. Only God can cause the growth. He calls those who will come to Him and the decision to receive that call lies solely with those people. However, you play an active role in God’s sovereign plan to usher in His Kingdom that is to come. Be not passive in your walk with Jesus. It should be an honor – not a burden – to share Him with others. If you love God’s people – and as a Christian you should – love them enough to want them saved. Love them enough to give them the only One who can make that possible. Jesus.

Fear is a demonic stronghold and it is a spirit that falls under the rule of Satan. Do not let it control you. Fear will convince you that the thoughts and words of the people in this world are more important than the call God has on your life. Be encouraged, for “greater is He who is in you than he who is in this world.”

Well, now that you know, what are you going to do differently?

“Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, “Go and pour out the bowls of the wrath of God on the Earth.”” Revelations 16:1

Child of God, be assured that we ARE LIVING IN THE LAST DAYS before the tribulation which is referenced in Revelation, Chapters 16-19.  Take heed to what the Lord has to say…

I feel an urgency in my spirit to repost this dream, and its message, which was given to me on Wednesday, October 26th, 2016 at 2:30 A.M. This dream forewarns of God’s judgement and wrath to come in the last days that will precede the return of Jesus Christ. It also speaks of God’s provision given for His children. Though rough times are surely ahead for all true Christians, be encouraged for God has made a way for those who love Him, follow Him and obey Him.

“And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army.” Revelation 19:19

I dreamt that I was walking alone through a vast and desolate land that was barren as far as I could see. I continued to walk when to my left suddenly appeared an army of soldiers on horseback. The army were racing forward with swords drawn as if running into battle. As I looked at the army, the Lord made it known to me that I was seeing the ‘world’s army.’ He also made it known to me that the ‘world’s army’ had control over the people of this world for they feared its power. However, as I looked at the ‘world’s army’, I felt no fear for I am not of this world, and I continued to walk.

And the Armies in Heaven, clothed in fine linen white and clean, followed Him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron.” Revelation 19:14-15

Suddenly, to the left of the ‘world’s army’ appeared another Army. This Army was also on horseback racing forward with swords drawn as if running into battle. However, I saw that this Army was different. The Lord made it known to me that this was a spiritual Army – not visible to most in this world – and yet I was able to see them. The Lord made it known to me that this was God’s Army!

Then I saw a few soldiers from the ‘world’s army’ turn their heads to their left to look upon God’s Army, for they could also see. (The enemy and his demons are here in this world and have access to unsaved people. They dwell in the spiritual realm and can recognize that which is also in the spiritual realm.”)  Then they turned their heads away from God’s Army for they had disregard for those Holy things of God.

As I looked upon God’s Army, I began to feel an urgency in my spirit. The Lord then impressed upon me to immediately run to seek shelter and safety for imminent destruction by His hand was sure to come. So I looked to my right and immediately I saw a small building that had not been there before. I was moved to run towards the building as fast as I could. As I approached the building, I was tempted to hesitate for I feared that the door would be locked. Yet, I continued to run towards the building and up the steps towards the front door. I turned the door knob and to my surprise, I found that the door was unlocked. I opened the door and saw people on the ground floor but, I was moved to immediately run up the stairs as fast as I could to the top floor. The moment my feet reach the top floor, I heard a massive explosion. At that moment, it was made known to me that everything outside of that building had been destroyed. As I looked at the people on the ground floor of the building, I saw that many had been gravely injured and some had even been killed. I knew immediately that God had delivered me through it all!

It was then made known to me that God alone had given me the revelation concerning the two armies. It was made known to me that God alone had prompted me to run – and not walk – to seek shelter and safety. It was made known to me that God alone had provided the provision that was not there before. It was made known to me that God alone had opened the locked door. It was made known to me that God alone had guided me to the top of the stairs. It was made known to me that all these things were done for me by God alone.

Then it was made known to me that had I not BELIEVED God’s Word, had I not RECEIVED God’s Word and had I not OBEYED God’s Word, I would NOT have survived.

Child of God, all these things were shown to me and made known to me for my good and for yours. KNOW that Jesus’ return is imminent. KNOW that the days that will precede Him will not be easy. KNOW that those whose lives are not lined up with the Word of God will not survive. Regardless of what you see and hear in this world, KNOW that your truth must be God’s truth. KNOW that EVERYTHING is and always will be in God’s hands. KNOW that your life will depend on your OBEDIENCE.

This message is for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear.

The process of being conformed to the image of God’s son, Jesus Christ, and being transformed into His nature is certainly not for everyone.

Following Jesus Christ does not come without many sacrifices made and high costs being paid. Only those who are truly desperate for a deeper, more powerful relationship with God are willing to go through all that is required to weather them, mature them and purify them.

Only those who are willing to allow God to stretch them will encounter what transcends our wildest imagination. Only those will experience the most amazing and rewarding relationship made available to mankind.

Many are not willing to pay the price required to achieve God’s definition of righteousness. The fear of man labeling them a self-righteous, overly religious fanatic is too much for most to bear. Many also fear the supernatural and feel that submerging themselves into the depths of the unknown is far too intimidating.

Mature Christians have discovered that their level of spiritual gain is based on their degree of fleshly loss. We must be willing to die to self and we must be willing to lose all that we believe gives us life here on this Earth to truly live for Jesus Christ. Anything that does not draw you closer to the Lord, draws you further away from Him and keeps you from experiencing the most intimate relationship with God made possible on this side of Heaven.

Child of God, you must know that for you to go deeper with God, you must be willing to reach further beyond the basic Christian requirement of reconciliation with the Father. Allowing God to have His way with you so that He can purge your flesh, your soul and your spirit, will hasten your sanctification. And why do you need to go through this?

In order to progress in your walk with the Lord, God needs to purge your flesh of sin and carnality. He needs to purge your soul so that He can cleanse your mind of unrighteous thoughts and emotions. This includes your stubborn nature and all of your false self-assurances. He needs to purge your spirit of your self-righteousness and your self-sufficiency. All this is necessary for you to be move to a level of spiritual maturity where you can receive the fullness of all God has for you.

The Lord was in the process of purging me of a stronghold that was hindering my spiritual growth, as well as my ministry, at the time that I received the following vision. I would not have believed this about myself if the Lord had not allowed me to have this experience.

In the early part of 2016, I lay in bed one night wide awake for I was restless and could not sleep. My husband, who slept through this entire experience, was laying next to me sound asleep.

in the distance I heard the sound of what I can only describe as a whirlwind. I did not see the whirlwind itself but, I could hear it. As it came closer to me, it’s sound became louder and stronger and intensity. At the same time, I saw a small, bright light appear and grow, widening and spreading, until it consumed my bedroom. I could see nothing around me but a brilliant light. It was brighter than anything I had ever seen. I was not frightened for knew that it had come from the Lord. In fact, I lifted my head up off my pillow and struggled to hear what I hoped would be God’s Voice through the sound of the whirlwind which was getting louder and stronger.

You see, in the summer of 2001, I heard the Lord audibly call out my first name. The night that it happened also found me in bed. When I heard the Lord’s voice, I was frightened. All I could do was cover my head with my bed sheet, and I did not respond. As I lay there, I listened intently waiting to hear something else but, the Lord did not say another word. The next morning after recovering from the shock of the experience  and explaining everything to my husband, I prayed and ask God why He didn’t say more to me. I did not get a response at that time. I came to the conclusion that God did not speak further because I did not respond to Him. So I made a promise to God that if He ever saw fit to speak to me again, I would most definitely respond.

So as the light in my room  grew brighter and the whirlwind grew stronger, I struggled to listen for the sound of the Lord’s voice hoping that He would speak to me again – however He did not.

The brilliant light in my bedroom consumed everything, and although I could see nothing around me I could still move around as I lay on my back in my bed. Then out of the corner of my right eye I saw a figure. The bodily figure stood to my right and was even brighter than the brilliant light that had consumed my room. As my eyes focused on the form, I saw it lean over and place its arms under my body. Then I felt my body begin to lift up off the bed.

Within a split second, many thoughts began to flood my mind. I was reminded of a prophecy that was spoken over me, also in 2001, by a woman of God who told me that the Lord had spoken to her about me. She said that He had instructed her to anoint my feet for I would walk on Holy Ground. I also had thoughts of my four-year-old grandson growing up without me. I remembered my son whom I have not seen in over 10 years, my two daughters whom I love dearly as well as the lives of my four sisters. Finally, I remembered the plans my husband and I had made for our future.

Then suddenly, a different thought occurred to me. “What if the Lord is taking me away and I am not able to return.” I then thought to myself, “I am not ready.” So I reached out my left hand to feel for my husband, who was laying next to me, and I grabbed his pajamas. Within an instant after grabbing ahold of my husbands pajamas, everything disappeared. The sound of the whirlwind stopped, the brilliant light vanished and the Angelic vision was gone. I immediately woke up my husband and told him everything that had happened.

Later that morning, after praying to God about my experience, the Lord spoke to my spirit. He explained to me that He allowed me to experience the vision so that I could learn a few things about myself. He wanted me to know that He has called me for a work but, until I am willing to break the ties that are binding me, He would not be able to use me to the extent that He desires.

Jesus said, ” If any man come to Me and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yae, and his own life also he cannot be My disciple.” Luke 14:26

Reading and understanding the scripture above in its context, we know that this statement is a metaphor. Jesus, in essence, was saying that we must count the cost of discipleship and be willing to pay it to follow Him. He is also saying that we must also understand that if we desire to be His disciple we must be willing to give up everything for Him. Jesus sacrificed everything He had to give for our salvation. The question He asks His Church is just how much are we willing to give up for Him?

“For you formed my inward parts; You knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise You for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are Your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from You when I was being made in secret…” Psalm 139:13-16

For a Christian, the choice of abortion is not a matter of a woman’s right to choose. It is clearly a matter of death to those whom God has made in His image.

It is not for me to enter into a discussion that covers all the different scenarios that one may believe justifies an abortion. It is for me however, to make perfectly clear that the act of abortion is considered murder in God’s eyes, and murder is a sin. Although this may be an accepted practice to man, it is not acceptable to God.

Child of God, we have all made mistakes. We have all sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Whether this was a past mistake or a recent error in judgement, know that God loves you so much that He has made a way out for you. He has made a way for all who are truly repentant and choose to sin no more.

Remember, all unconfessed sin gives the enemy the right to access your life as well as the lives of your family. When  the opportunity presents itself, he will, by all means, take full advantage of that opened door. For his only desire is to kill, steal and destroy us.

Generational curses are also something to be concerned about. These are curses that are passed down from one generation to another due to sin. Child of God, as a Christian, you have the right and the authority to cancel these curses. This is a process called deliverance.

If you have ever had an abortion, encouraged or paid for an abortion, participated in an abortion, performed an abortion or played any part in an abortion, remember that YOU CAN BE FORGIVEN through Jesus Christ, our Lord.

All sin can be forgiven if only you are willing to humble yourself and confess your sin, permanently turn from it and ask the Lord for forgiveness.

DO NOT DELAY. Many people are spending eternity in Hell for sin they are continuing to commit as well as for sin they have never repented for. DO NOT LET THIS BE YOU.

In the month of November, 2016, my husband and I attended a local church service near our home. As we stood in the sanctuary for praise and worship, I could not help but notice a teenage boy, around the age of 15 or 16, and his mother standing in the row in front of us. I couldn’t help but be drawn to the boy for he was coughing incessantly. So much so that it was almost disruptive. Occasionally, the boy’s mother would look over at him but yet said nothing to him about his coughing.

Suddenly, I heard the Lord speak to me. “Lay your hand on the boy,” He said. I hesitated for a moment for I questioned whether I had heard correctly for this was only the second time I can remember the Lord Himself telling me to lay hands on someone.

It was in 2001 when I witnessed that amazing miracle. In a room full of people, I felt the power of God burn in my chest after I was moved, by God, to lay hands on a woman. After I obeyed His command, I witnessed a healing miracle and God healed this woman from a debilitating lung condition called sarcoidosis.

In this situation concerning the boy in the church, I thought to myself, “If I am mistaken, I could bring unwanted negative attention to myself.” For I didn’t know this boy nor did I know his mother. And in this day and age, you really do have to be careful especially where children are concerned.

So, I immediately responded and said to God. “Lord, I don’t know these people and if I were the mother of this boy, I would be upset if a stranger put their hands on my young son.” I waited a moment for an answer, but the Lord did not respond. Not wanting to be disobedient, I quickly thought of a way to lay my hands on the boy without it appearing to be inappropriate. I decided to take a tissue out of my purse to hand to the boy for he was still coughing excessively. This way, I thought, I could still lay my hands on him and do it in an inconspicuous manner.

But God is so amazing and such a loving God. He understands when we are simply wanting confirmation that it is, in fact, Him speaking to us and not the enemy. He knows that we have to be careful for Satan is so cunning. He knows that we must be able to discern the difference between what is of Him and what is not. For this reason, and so many more, it is imperative that we have an intimate relationship with the Lord. Only then, are we able to communicate with Him and know that He will answer us when we call on Him.

While reaching into my purse to get the tissue, I spoke once again to the Lord. “Lord, if this is really You asking me to do this, can You please give me a sign?” Right about this time, the praise and worship music stopped and the worship leader asked everyone in the congregation to turn to their neighbor and greet them. Immediately, even almost mechanically, the boy who was standing directly in front of me (and still coughing) turned around and extended his right hand to greet me. I thanked God for the sign and said a silent prayer as I cupped the boys hand with my two hands then handed him the tissue.

The mother, after seeing me hand her son the tissue, took the hint and told her son to go to the restroom. A little while later, he returned and sat down. I noticed that the boy had stopped coughing. I then heard the Lord say, “Pray for the children.” I watched the teenage boy throughout the remainder of the service and he never coughed again.

The Lord has since asked me to lay hands on other children as well as God is calling to Himself a remnant of youth who will rise up against the evil in this world in these last days. His mark is upon them. These are children who will faithfully follow the Lord and defend His word. These are children who are fearless and who God has anointed to boldly speak out against evil and its apostasy. These are children who need our continuous prayer, support and discipleship for a mighty attack from the enemy has also risen up against them.

The enemy knows that his time is short and he is leaving no stone unturned in his attempts to destroy God’s remnant. The enemy’s attacks are relentless and evidence of it can be seen everywhere. His diabolical plans include trying to destroy God’s children even before their conception. We see this in the ever-increasing forms of birth control that are in the market today. The widespread acceptance of abortion also bear his fingerprints.

Satan is also using all forms of entertainment in this world, which he has corrupted, to attract our children. For it is his intent to turn the children away from God by poisoning their minds. The enemy is no respecter of age. His attacks are against babies on up. We can clearly see the enemy’s lies and deception in our children’s books, games, music, television, movies and advertisements. We can also see Satan’s influence in our children’s education. Parents, beware and be careful of what you allow your children to be exposed to and influenced by. Always be on guard. Stay involved with your children. Teach them the difference between right and wrong according to God’s word, not the world. Demonstrate for your children how to stand strong and resolute in this evil world that we live in. “Train up a child up in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”  Proverbs 22:6 This is a promise given to us from God.

Church, always pray without ceasing and take heed to what thus sayeth the Lord: “Pray for the children.”

Unforgiveness is like drinking a cup of poison believing it will kill the other person.  “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.” Luke 6:37

God hates unforgiveness. This most commonly committed sin also comes in the form of bitterness, anger, hurt, resentfulness, hatred, grudges, Which of these are you holding on to? Unforgiveness is a self-induced cancer that slowly eats away at the person who is living with it. When you embrace it, it robs you of your peace and your holiness. It places a barrier between you and God which blocks your prayers and blessings. And ultimately, it will rob you of your salvation.

Do you remember the king from Jesus’ parable in Matthew 18:21-35 that forgave an extremely large debt that belonged to a servant that would never have been able to pay it off. Later, that same servant refused to forgive another man a debt that was owed to him. When the king heard of this, he became so angry that he called him a wicked servant and rescinded his forgiveness of the debt that he had formerly extended and the servant was given over to the jailers. Jesus tells us that this is how the Father will respond to us when we, likewise, choose to not forgive others.

When we can truly appreciate the depths of sacrifice Jesus had to go through to extend the gift of forgiveness to us, we should consider it a privilege and an honor for us to extend that same gift to others while also being blessed in the process.

In this evil world full of fallible people, it is almost impossible to get through a day without being hurt or offended by someone. Likewise, it is highly probable that others are being hurt and offended by you. It is a pretty accurate statement to say that you will never have to forgive anyone more than God has already forgiven you. So, when others hurt you, use you, abuse you and take advantage of you, what’s a child of God to do? It’s very simple. Obey God and forgive.

“So they went out and preached that people should repent. And they cast out many demons…” Mark 6: 12-13. For true believers, first comes repentance then comes deliverance.

God’s people are waiting for God to deliver them while God is waiting for His people to repent. If you want to be delivered from the strongholds of sin, from demonic oppression and from evil spirits, you and your life must completely line up with God’s word.

Who wants to be oppressed and in bondage? No one does. And yet every day people walk around suffering from demonic oppression and trapped in bondage to sin. Jesus said, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin.” John 8:34

Child of God, there is evil behind every sin and once a sin has been committed, it opens the door to demonic oppression. Sin gives demons authority to access your life as well as the lives of your family. This is called demonic oppression and it can afflict you and your family in many ways such as with illness, poverty, curses, disease, death, etc and even eternal damnation if not stopped in time.

The evil that is attached to sin also has a way of taking hold of a person’s life. This evil can set up destructive habits inside of a person that are very hard to break. This is called demonic possession. Once a demon, or even demons, have taken possession, it can wreak havoc in the lives of you and your family in ways such as alcoholism, drug addiction, pornography, sexual immorality, anger, hatred, bitterness, violence, etc. Freedom from this bondage is possible. However, it can only come through deliverance from a qualified man or woman of God who has been given the authority to cast out demons. And permanent deliverance is only possible for the believer through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

All oppression and possession is subject to verbal repentance made to our Savior, Jesus Christ. He is the only One who is able to permanently break these chains. Once a truly repentive heart has confessed their sins and submitted their lives to God, then and only then does he have the capability to resist the devil and cause the devil to flee.

There are many prayers available out there to assist you with your concessions and repentance. However the secret to deliverance is not in the words that you pray, it lies within the heart of the one that speaks. (Luke 6:45)

Is following Jesus just too hard? Yes, it is not only too hard, it is impossible. But, for Christians who have the Spirit of God resident inside of them, it is not too difficult for God’s power is at work.

There are many who flippantly excuse the sin in their lives. The sad truth is that they also believe God excuses them as well. They say things like: “God knows my heart.” God does not expect me to be perfect.” “I’m only human.” “I can’t be holy for I’m not God.”

If holiness was impossible for us to achieve, God would not have made it a requirement. For the Word telIs us: “Without holiness no one will see the Lord.” Hebrews 12:14

God is inherently holy and it is true that, in and of ourselves, we are not. However, we can become holy through a true relationship with and obedience to Jesus Christ. This pursuit of holiness begins immediately after we dedicate our lives to Jesus. Upon becoming His born-again followers, God requires us to cultivate a lifestyle of holiness (1 Peter 1:14-16). Then, as we mature spiritually in our walk with Jesus, our ability to obtain and maintain holiness increases.

What does it mean to cultivate a lifestyle of holiness? It means that we willingly go through a process of purging ourselves of all uncleanness from the flesh, the soul and the spirit. In this, our lives begin to outwardly and inwardly reflect an increase of spiritual growth and a decrease of a desire for the things of this world. However, we live in a world surrounded by evil and sin therefore, there is not a one-time fix. In our daily pursuit of holiness, it is necessary for us to continuously confess and forsake sin. As we do this, we perfect our holiness in the fear of God (2 Corinthians 7:1).

Child of God, if you are struggling in the area of holiness, seek God for the infilling of the Holy Spirit. For without Him, holiness which is righteousness in God’s eyes will be impossible for you to achieve. However, be mindful that the Holy Spirit will not dwell inside of an unclean vessel. If there is sin in your life, you must remove that sin and go through the process of repentance and deliverance. As the power of God will not work if there is a barrier between you and the Lord. The good news is that you, as a child of God, have all the tools you need to remove these barriers. Use them. There is no time to waste. You are called to be about the work.

“May God Himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The One who calls you is faithful and He will do it.” I Thessalonians 5:23-24

Not long ago, my husband and I were at the home of friends of ours and received a ‘gift’ from them. They were moving to another state and thought we might like to have it. This gift was a painting that depicted four African American ballet dancers – three women and a man. Later, on the way home, I expressed to my husband that I didn’t particularly care for the picture. On the other hand however, my husband liked the painting so reluctantly I agreed to keep it. After we arrived home, I decided to hang the painting in a small room near our bedroom. A day or so later, my husband and I decided to organize our master bedroom closet. So he placed a large, black trash bag at the foot of our bed and we both began to dispose of things that we no longer wanted or needed. Later, I went to bed early and left my husband to continue working on our closet.

Later that evening, my husband saw the ballet painting I had hung on the wall in the room that was near our bedroom. Yet, when he looked a little closer, he saw something in the painting that neither of us had noticed before, and what he saw disturbed him. On the hand of one of the women in the painting, he noticed what appeared to be a demonic hand sign – one of many satanic symbols the Lord had only recently revealed to us. He decided to dispose of the painting so without telling me, he threw it away in the large, black trash bag that had been placed at the end of our bed.

At some point in the middle of that night, I awoke but recognized I was in a strange, dream-like state however, I was wide awake. There was a feeling of darkness in the room. The feeling I had was very different from the many dreams and visions I have had from the Lord. My head was on my pillow laying on the right side. I opened my eyes and lifted my head to look forward and there, at the foot of our bed, was a gloomy, almost transparent vision of what appeared to be four African American figures – three women and what may have been a man at the far end. The woman on the far right, who stood directly in front of me at the foot of the bed, smiled at me and appeared to look like a dear cousin  who had died several years earlier – this was a familiar spirit.

I struggled for a moment trying to arouse myself from what I initially thought was a nightmare. After a minute or two, clarity returned to the room and the darkness I could feel left me. The four figures I saw also disappeared. Not sure of what I had just seen, I woke my husband and explained everything to him. He was stunned. After a moment or so, he began to tell me about what he had seen the evening before on the hand of one of the ballet dancers in the painting, and how he had thrown the painting into the large black trash bag that sat at the foot of our bed that sat in the exact location where I saw the four African American figures only moments before. It was then apparent to both of us that the four figures I had seen at the foot of our bed were not people. They were evil spirits disguised as people.

Immediately, my husband got out of bed, took the painting out of the large, black trash bag and went outside into our backyard. There he broke the painting into pieces and burned all of it. Afterwards, together we prayed and asked God for forgiveness for bringing the acursed thing into our home. Then we anointed every room and prayed to bind the enemy, in Jesus’ name, from entering our home again. We never saw the evil spirits again.

In all of this, I give God the glory. For prior to this incident, the Lord had prepared us. He has been revealing to us and teaching us many things concerning spiritual warfare that includes demon possession, cursed and demonically charged objects as well as other forms of spiritual warfare such as cursed forms of entertainment and media of all kinds including demonically-inspired music, television shows, Hollywood movies and even children’s animation.

Child of God, demons and evil spirits are real and it is crucial that you not only keep yourself pure and Holy but also keep your home pure and Holy as well. Be careful what you allow your eyes to see and your ears to hear. And be very careful what you bring into your home, i.e. music, movies, art, etc. Demons attach themselves to whatever and whoever has been demonically cursed. When you expose yourself to these things, you have given the enemy the right to access your life and the lives of your family. Once entry has been gained, the enemy can – and will – use anything and anyone to try and kill, steal and destroy you and yours.

Child of God, if you have not already done so, it is time to clean house!

It is written in Revelations 20:15 that those whose names are not found recorded in the Book of Life will be hurled into the Lake of Fire.

Is your name recorded in the Book of Life? If you are not sure, seek God. He is willing to forgive you of all your sins no matter what you have done. He is the only One who can purify you from all unrighteousness. You only need to seek Him and ask for His forgiveness. You may do this by sincerely praying this prayer:

Lord Jesus, I have sinned against You. I repent of and permanently turn away from all of my sins. Please forgive me and free me from all evil and wickedness. Loose me from all curses. Cleanse me from all unrighteousness and write my name in The Book of Life. Lord Jesus, I am asking that You dwell in my life forever and seal me with Your Holy Spirit. It is in Your name that I pray this prayer. Amen.

The Word of God is like a captive lion. It must be released for it to operate in the fullness of its power and it is only then that you see it is perfectly capable of defending itself against anything and anyone.

God’s Word is not just a book full of inspirational characters and stories. God’s Word is true and alive. “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only Begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” John 1:14

Child of God, truly the words you speak forth (and even think) have the ability to curse you and hold you captive or it can release the power of God in your life. Most people speak careless words of failure and fear not realizing that they are doing themselves and others harm. There are spiritual laws that God has put into place that govern the universe. When you work against these laws, they will work against you. There is power released in the spiritual realm everytime we open our mouths and speak.

When you speak negative words concerning yourself, your life, your family, your loved ones, your job and even your financial situation, you are speaking the words of the enemy. When you do this, you are giving the enemy a legal right to step into and operate within your life. They then have the right to make sure that you have what you say.

On the other hand, when you speak forth life-giving Words of God, angels rush to fulfil them. When you speak words that are contrary to the Words of God, you are binding the angels from moving on your behalf. Saying words like “Nothing ever works out for me” or  “I never have any money” or “I am so stupid” hinders angels from doing what they were created to do which is to serve you, the true follower of Jesus Christ.

God wants to bless every area of your life but, there are principles that must be adhered to before He is able to do so. When you choose to operate within these principles, you are essentially choosing life over death, prosperity over poverty and health over sickness. This is not just an exercise of positive thinking. This is a true demonstration of how to activate and release God’s power into your life. If your situation does not reflect God’s best, it is better to say nothing until you see a change manifest than it is to speak negative words that will continue to bind and curse you as well as others.

What are these life-changing principles? At the top of the list, I must stress that holiness, obedience, purity of heart and commitment to Jesus Christ is a prerequisite for all power and authority over the enemy. You must listen to and obey God’s every word. Honor God with your life through every decision you make. Learn God’s Word for yourself by reading your Bible. Agree with all that God says about you and your circumstances. Always speak forth God’s Word concerning those circumstances, regardless of what you see. Be patient and wait on God and watch your life transform and begin to line up with God’s good and perfect will.

Child of God, time is winding down…

Whether referencing Jesus’ return to this world or your departure to His, the following words should be on your mind more now than ever before: “No man knows the day nor the hour.”

Death is not a respecter of person. Nor does it care about your age. Young or old, the breath you are breathing this very moment could very well be your last. Don’t fall for the lie that has sent many to Hell. I am speaking of the lie that tells you that once you have given your life to Jesus Christ, regardless of what you do, you are saved from eternal damnation forever. This walk is a daily walk. Your disobedience can cause you to lose your salvation at any moment. Do not remain in your sin. It is separating you from God. God is Holy and He demands that you strive to also be Holy. He cannot accept you any other way. The relationship we have with God is based on His high and Holy criteria, not ours. Do not think that you can cheapen Him by trying to pull Him down to your level. If you have convinced yourself that you can, you are deceived.

It is time for all prodigal sons and daughters to make their way back home. Repent of your rebellion. Repent of your sin. Return into the loving, caring, protective and forgiving arms of your Heavenly Father.

Sometimes, we need a helping hand from someone who truly cares. If this is you and you would like someone to talk to you and pray with you concerning this, contact me and I will reach out to you.

“Now I saw a new Heaven and a new Earth, for the first Earth and the first Heaven had passed away. Also, there was no more sea. Then I, John, saw the Holy City, New Jerusalem, coming down out of Heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from Heaven saying, “Behold, the Tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them and they will be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. THERE SHALL BE NO MORE PAIN for former things have passed away.” Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write for these words are true and faithful.” Revelation 21:1-5

What was shown to John is destined to come to past when the old Earth gives way to the new after Jesus’ second coming. As scripture states, in that New Place, there will be no more pain for there will be no more death, there will be no more sorrow and there will be no more crying for the old things will have passed away.

What are the old things that will pass away? The sin and the evil that is in this world. But this blissful event will happen only when ALL things have become new and are fully submitted to God such as it will be in the New World that is to come.

This New Place that will consist of an unimaginable peace and joy clearly does not describe the current world we live in today. For clearly this world, and the people who live in it, do not fully submit to God. Therefore the influence of evil and the effects of sin will continue to run rampant.

Is it really God’s fault that good people go through bad things? Let’s think about this question. Do you allow God to control everything you do? I would guess not. Have you made decisions that you knew were going to negatively affect others? Of course you have. Multiply that times the amount of people that are in this world and imagine the worst case scenario. What you have as the result is the world that we live in. We are not puppets and God is not a master puppeteer operating all of our strings from Heaven to His liking. He has given us free will to make our own decisions – even if they are completely devoid of Him. This is where our problems originate.

If God really was the culprit, the new world – that will be completely submitted to God along with all the good people living within it – would also be a place full of pain and all of its causes but scripture clearly states that It will be absent of all these things. The truth is that it is not God’s fault that we experience the pain that we do here on this Earth, it is the fault of the people. It is the evil that resides in their hearts and the sinful actions that are birthed from that evil that causes all of the suffering we experience.

As long as we live on this Earth, we will all be subjected to pain for here lives the fallible and imperfect and it is the fallible and imperfect that fall prey to evil and sin. The only escape we have from it all is through the hope we have in Jesus Christ. He is the only One who is worthy of our praise. He is the only One who loves us unconditionally. He is the only One whose promises are never broken. He is the only One guaranteed to never disappoint us. He is the only One and only those who truly follow Him today will be able to follow Him tomorrow into the glorious new after the old has passed away. Only then will we experience NO MORE PAIN.

The evening of May 12th 2017, the Lord gave me a dream of warning that I entitled The Landlord which was given to me to share with His people. Six days later, on the evening of May 18th, 2017, the Lord gave me yet another dream of warning…

In this dream, God showed me one word: IMMINENT.

IMMINENT means ‘impending,’ ‘about to happen’ and ‘close at hand.’ Though no man knows the day or the hour of Jesus’ return, God is giving us hints. The Lord is giving us more than ample warning that time is winding down and drawing ever so near. No one will have an excuse when their time comes to go before Him for judgment.

Child of God, do not become complacent. Do not allow the talk of Jesus’ return to make you numb. Although God is a loving and patient God, although God is compassionate and slow to anger, God is also an all-consuming fire whose wrath burns hot and furious. It is not man who is telling you, “Jesus is returning soon.” It is God saying to you, the return of Jesus is “imminent”! The return of Jesus is impending! The return of Jesus is about to happen! The return of Jesus is close at hand! Repent! Get your house in order. Dispose of all your trash and debris. Clean your Holy temple where the Holy Spirit resides.

Messages of warnings from the Lord are becoming more and more frequent. Heed the voice of the Lord. God is speaking to you Church. There will come a time when He will cease speaking. When that time comes, He will turn away from those who refuse to listen. He will turn His face from the sinners. All will be lost to them. There will be no hope for them. He will give them over to the hardness of a reprobate mind and see them eternally as godless, rejected, worthless and evil. Scripture tells us of that perilous time when the world will consist primarily of perilous men. In those last days,  “men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power.” And we are warned: “from such people turn away! For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth… men of corrupt minds, disapproved concerning the faith.”  (2 Timothy 3:1-9)

Do you not know that judgment will begin at the house of God and if it begins with us, woe to those who do not obey the Lord. (1 Peter 4:17)

On May 13th, the Lord gave me a dream… God is reaching out to His people in these last days. Messages such as does given through dreams and visions seen by His Prophets, He is preparing and warning the Church body of Jesus’ imminent return.

In this dream, I saw myself managing a multi-family community. In the community, there were many buildings. In each building were two single-story apartments on the left – one on the top-level and the other on the lower-level – and one two-story townhouse on the right. I saw myself going from building to building examining the front doors and the back patios of each apartment and townhouse looking for trash and debris. At those dwellings, I left a notice that included a warning. The warning informed the people who live there that I would be returning soon but on an unspecified date. The warning also informed them that when I returned, I would be imposing a penalty on those choosing to remain in violation. This penalty would include an extremely heavy fine.

Some of the people were obedient and heeded the warning by cleaning up their dwelling place. Some were complacent not thinking it important and did nothing. Others were angry and wanted to know why they couldn’t do exactly what they wanted for it was their life and they felt they should be able to live it exactly the way they chose. I explained to them that they would not live in this place forever. I told them that eventually they would want to move on to an amazing brand New Place. I further explained that when that time came, this New Place would call on me for a reference. The reference I would give them would speak on their behalf. I continued to explain that their compliance in this place will determine the type of reference I gave. I made it clear that at that time, if they received a good reference from me, they would be approved for the New Place and only then would they be able to enter into it. If they received a bad reference on the other hand, they would be rejected and denied entry into the amazing New Place. Furthermore, they would be forced to live in a horrible place that was not fit for any person to live in. I then awoke from this dream.

In this dream, God showed me that I was representing Jesus, the Master Property Manager. The buildings in this dream represented all the places in the world. The apartments and townhouses represented three categories of people. The lower-level apartments represented those who are considered the least in this world. The upper-level apartments represented those who are considered just above the least in this world. The two-story townhouses represented those who have done well in this world. Each dwelling place represented a life and the front doors to each dwelling place represented everything about our life that is visibly seen by others. The back patios at each dwelling place represented everything about our life that we try to hide from others – even though nothing is hidden from God. Jesus has access to it all.

In this dream, it was clear that the Lord is no respecter of persons for it showed everyone being grouped together in one place and expected to live according to the same rules. No one was allowed preferential treatment. Everyone was judged exactly the same. The trash and debris in this dream represented the sin and disobedience in our lives. We know that the penalty for sin and disobedience is death which is, indeed, a heavy price to pay. Only a few will be approved while many will be rejected from entering into the amazing New Place, which is God’s Heavenly Kingdom, for many will reject the Master Property Manager, who is Jesus Christ, and His word. However, these people WILL gain acceptance and entrance into a different place – a horrible place called Hell.

Child of God, are you violating God’s word? Is your life still cluttered with sin and disobedience? Will you receive a good reference from Jesus or a bad one? Will you be approved or rejected from entering into the amazing New Place? Do uou know where you will go when you leave this place?

This message is for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear.

“Indeed, the Sovereign Lord never does anything until He reveals His plans to His servants the prophets. The lion has roared – so who isn’t frightened? The Sovereign Lord has spoken – so who can refuse to proclaim His message?” Amos 3:7-8 (NLT)

In 2008, the Lord gave me two open visions. One was felt physically and the other was seen visually. At the close of 2016, the Lord gave me a third.

An open vision is different from a vision. A vision gives you divine revelation by sight but your role is passive in this type of vision. Here, you are only an observer. However, in an open vision your role is more dynamic. Here, you may not only be shown something visually, you actually become a part of the vision as you are able to interact with it. In an open vision, You have the ability to see, smell, hear, taste and feel what is happening around you.

All three open visions were divine revelations from God revealing to me warnings of imminent earthquakes that are coming soon to certain areas of the United States…

In 2008, my husband and I went out to eat at a local restaurant not far from our home. The weather was beautiful that day and nothing was out of the ordinary. As we began to eat, I suddenly felt the ground – in the restaurant – violently shake beneath my feet. Of course, I stopped eating and quickly looked around me to see what was happening. Again, nothing looked out of the ordinary and it appeared to me that no one else had experienced what I had just felt. I then looked at my husband and asked him if he had also felt the ground shaking and he replied that he had not. I excused myself from the table and went to the ladies room. I noticed that I was alone, so I stood there for a moment or two trying to process what had just happened to me. Eventually, I returned to my table and finished my meal. My husband and I then left the restaurant and returned home.

A few days later, I had another open vision. What I saw was a full-color scene that had been superimposed over what my natural eyes were actually seeing… I was alone in my living room watching a television program when suddenly what I was seeing changed before my eyes. What appeared to me was an unknown woman announcer and a weather broadcast. It looked as if I was watching the Weather Channel. I saw the woman standing on the left side of the screen with a long, narrow pointing stick in her hand. She was pointing to two columns that were listed on a wall to the right while she warned of eminent earthquakes that were soon to come.

In each column, I saw a list of cities/states that were located all over the United States. I would only be guessing if I tried to recall those cities and states, so I won’t go there. However, I have come to the conclusion that the Lord did not intend for me to remember this information. For if He had, He would have seared them into my memory. At the time that I received this vision, I believe it was given to me for the purpose of warning, preparation and awareness.

Not realizing at the time that what I had seen was a vision, (for my call had not been confirmed yet) I became alarmed and immediately went to ask my husband if he had heard the news about the pending earthquakes. He had no idea what I was talking about. When I returned to the living room to show him what I had seen, the vision of the weather broadcast was gone and the original programming had returned.

I couldn’t believe it. I knew what I had seen and heard so I proceeded to search the television news channels, as well as the Internet, looking for information concerning these earthquakes however, I found nothing. Then, I was immediately reminded of the ‘shaking’ I had experienced only days before in the restaurant. Not understanding any of this at the time, the only thing I could do was pray, journal what I had experienced and ponder it all.

I now fast-forward to today. Only a few months ago, I received yet another vision. Upon closing of my eyes one evening while I lay in bed, I saw a date flash before my eyes. The date revealed to me a spelled out month, a numerical day and a numerical year and then began to violently shake from side to side for just a moment. Then I opened my eyes and it was gone. I was not allowed to remember the exact date I saw. I only remember the experience. Again, I believe all three of these open visions have been revealed to me for the purpose of warning, preparation and awareness. However, now I am being led to inform you.

I believe the Lord is bringing this information back to me to inform me that the time is drawing near. Why is God allowing devastating earthquakes to happen, you may ask? Very simply, it is because of sin in the land. Unless the people repent and cry out to God with sustained change in their hearts, this and even more devastating judgment will come.

I know that not all states will be affected by this earthquake. I have been given dreams about a location that He may be leading me and my family. I am still in prayer about it and I am waiting for His confirmation. I believe there will be places of sanctuary for those who know the Lord and hear His voice. Child of God, I pray that you also seek God concerning this. He will confirm it and guide your actions. I will be in continuous prayer concerning the time-frame of these earthquakes as well as the states these earthquakes are due to hit so that I can warn and prepare His people. Please pray.

Most importantly, I am asking that you repent of your sin and ask for mercy. Again, God is looking for sustained change from His people before He will relent.

In all things, to God be the glory.

Allow me to be quite frank here: All Hell has broken loose and its aim is at your children. Now, what are you going to do about it?

As you must know, Satan is the temporary god of this world. Therefore, you can believe that he has his hand in everything concerning it. Your focus may be on many things in this life however, you must know that Satan’s focus is unrelenting and is on one thing and one thing only: How to kill, steal and destroy – this especially applies to our children. If the enemy is after your children, where do you think he orchestrates his plans of deception and corruption? Let’s talk about this.

Of course you are aware of the many traps he sets in this world to ensnare our youth using drugs, alcohol and sexual immorality, right? Well, are you aware of the enemy’s control over the media? Do you know that Hollywood (with all of its acclaimed indoctrination into every form of witchcraft and the occult), and everyone involved in it, are all puppets in the enemy’s hand? How about the music industry with all its demonic curses and satanic rituals? Are you aware of this? And then there are the industries of advertising,  fashion and pornography. You have to know that these industries thrive on the exploitation of our youth. And let’s not forget the video games – do we really need to go there? Oh, and let me throw one into the loop that you might not be aware of – or maybe you are. Can everyone say (so-called) secret societies i.e. the Masons and the Illuminati? What about the generational curses that have been passed down to the children as the result of their parents’ (and their parents before them, etc.) association with these affiliations? How about your children’s education? I’ll bet you weren’t aware that Satan also goes to school – or maybe you are. Let’s just pause right here for a moment.

You know that our schools today are programming our children to believe and accept everything that goes against the word of God, right? I am sure that this is no surprise to you. Of course this includes teachings such as false theories of evolution, the acceptance of gender changing and the embracing of the homosexual agenda – just to name a few. But are you aware that the educators that are teaching your children are now permitting Satanic education and allowing Satanic clubs into the schools? Hmmm, maybe you weren’t aware of that one. SATAN IS TRYING TO DESTROY YOUR CHILDREN – no holds barred. His intent is to leave nothing to chance.

Child of God, how are you going to counteract this attack? Now, that I have your attention, let’s talk about that.

The Bible tells us that we (the children of God) are to be in the world but not of the world. So, we are not expected to live in a bubble or hide under a rock. However, we are expected to walk in the authority that’s been given to us by the power we have in Jesus Christ. Are you doing that? Let’s talk some more.

First and foremost, you must PRAY for your children every day – if not multiple times throughout the day because they need it. Then, you must take everything you know (and possibly don’t know) about spiritual warfare very seriously. For the fight that is upon us is truly a matter of life and death – especially where your children are concerned. What’s next? Okay, let’s talk about something else you may not take very seriously – your WORDS.

I know you have heard this said plenty of times before but now, I really want you to listen. THERE IS POWER IN THE WORDS THAT WE SPEAK. Be careful about what you say to your children and be careful about what you think about your children. For as soon as your words leave your mouth, something happens in the spiritual realm. Now, just because you don’t see it, doesn’t mean it isn’t there. If you speak negative, hurtful words to your children, you are speaking curses over your children. When you do this, you open a door for the demonic to come into the life of your child. This gives authority to the demons and they take those words and run with them, using them against your child in every way they possibly can. Think about it. We all know people who continue to struggle with something that was said to them, as a child, by someone who was in authority over them? Maybe this is you.

Likewise, the same thing happens when you speak positive, encouraging words to your children. Only now, you have spoken words that bless your child and IF you have the authority of Jesus Christ – and you MUST be in good standing with Him for this to work God will honor what you say. When you walk in His authority, you can actually operate in a principle called binding and loosing: “Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” Matthew 18:18 – and God will honor what you say. I don’t know about you, but I would much rather speak blessings over my children than curses. The good news is now that you know this, IF you are operating under the authority of Jesus Christ, you can break these curses – both off of yourself as well as your children.

Now for the fun part. You (as a child of God) must cover your children in your home by practicing godly parenting. Parents, DO NOT leave biblical teaching and the training up of your children to the schools and the churches. You must take responsibility for instilling an uncompromising biblical mindset – even as early as in the womb and most definitely from birth. So, how do you enforce Christian parenting?

I’m so glad you asked…

  • Commit your life to Jesus Christ.
  • You must put God first in your own life before you can require it of your child. Then live it, don’t just talk it.
  • Show your children how to live in ‘pursuit of holiness’ and set an example for them to live by.
  • Don’t compromise – even in the small things. For your child is watching everything you do.
  • Commit to a godly marriage and choose your dates (which will lead to your mate) accordingly.
  • Nurture your children in a godly household, i.e. be mindful of what is entering their ear-gate as well as their eye-gate. Also be mindful of the people you allow them to interact with. You can’t control what goes on in the world but you can control what goes on in your home.
  • Train your child up in the way they should go by teaching them the words of the Bible. (Proverbs 22:6)
  • Encourage an intimate relationship with Jesus by sharing your testimony with your children.
  • Teach your children to pray – about everything.
  • Don’t be afraid to engage them in dialogues of real truth concerning everything. Truth is not subjective. Truth is absolute – and according to the word of God.
  • Teach them to make independent decisions based on the word of God. Walking this walk is not for the faint of heart. It can be a lonely journey at times. If your child buys in to group-think, they will never make it. For what they, themselves believe WILL be challenged.
  • Lovingly and consistently discipline your children.
  • Forgive your children when they fall and when they fail – for they most definitely will.
  • Love your children unconditionally – always.
  • Bathe your children daily in prayer.

The Lord holds you, the parent, responsible for giving proper instruction to your child. You will be held responsible until your child reaches the age of accountability. When will that be, you may ask? Only God knows for sure. However, we do know that this age is determined by the child’s ability to truly distinguish the difference between what is right and what is wrong. If you are wondering if children can go to Hell, the answer is YES. Now that you have been warned, what are you going to do?

The Lord has been impressing upon me for a time to continuously pray for the children. I invite you to join me in this, for the life of your child may depend on it.

In all things, to God be the glory.

“For this is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: In just a little while I will again shake the Heavens and the Earth, the oceans and the dry land. I will shake all the nations,…”  Haggai 2:6-7

Child of God, look around you. Do you not see the signs and wonders that are appearing in the Heavens and on the Earth, on the land and in the sea, in the Church and within the people? God is shaking ALL things for God’s judgment is nigh and is even now upon us.

Do not be surprised or alarmed for all that is taking place must take place as it was foretold by the Prophets of old. Instead, take notice, heed the warings of God and prepare yourse for the Lord says, “I will shake all things.”

Why is God judging the world? Jesus spoke of this before He ascended into Heaven. He said:  “And when He (the Holy Spirit) comes, He will convict the world of its sin, and of God’s righteousness, and of the coming judgement. The world’s sin is that it refuses to believe in Me. Righteous- ness is available because I go to the Father, and you will see Me no more. Judgement will come because the ruler of this world (Satan) has already been judged. ” John 16:8-11

“The Earth suffers for the sins of its people, for they have twisted God’s instructions, violated His laws, and broken His everlasting covenant. Therefore, a curse consumes the Earth. Its people must pay the price for their sin.” Isaiah 24:5-6

Because the people are evil, prideful and disobedient to God, they will be judged. Because the people have ignored God’s righteous statutes and have sinned against God, they will be judged. Because of the wicked hearts of the people, they have corrupted the institution of marriage and family, and they will be judged. Because the people have broken the covenant God made with mankind through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, they will be judged. We see the world and its people progressively deteriorating as they fall deeper and deeper into sin. God is not pleased and His wrath is burning hot. Therefore, the world will be judged.

This great shaking will initiate universal upheaval and change that will ultimately bring about the destruction of “evil rulers, authorities, powers of darkness and spiritual forces in the Heavenly realms.” (see Ephesians 6:12)

“So why do you keep calling Me ‘Lord, Lord!’ when you do not do what I say? I will show you what it’s like when someone comes to Me, listens to My teaching, and then follows it. It is like a person building a house who digs deep and lays the foundation on solid rock. When the floodwaters rise and break against that house, it stands firm because it is well built. But anyone who hears and does not obey is like a person who builds a house right on the ground without a foundation. When the floods sweep down against that house, it will collapse into a heap of ruins.” Luke 6:46-49

The great shaking will affect everything and everyone. It will tear apart marriages, families and relationships. Structures will fall, businesses will fail, governments will crumble, false churches and religious establishments will be wiped away and people everywhere will be measured, weighed and judged. No one will be excluded and it will include Believers and unbelievers alike. Trials, tests and hardships of all kinds will come upon many. Then whoever and whatever CAN be shaken WILL be shaken.

“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.” Psalm 91:1-2

Believers of Jesus Christ, be strong and be encouraged. Do not despair. For regardless of what comes or what your eyes may see, remember this: God is, and always will be, in control.

Though you will not be able to avoid the shaking, for everyone must go through it, you can sustain and come through it victoriously. How so, you may ask? Abide in God. Trust in Him and obey Him – no matter what the consequences – and you will endure to the end.

“Joyful are those You discipline, Lord, those You teach with Your instructions. You give them relief from troubled times until a pit is dug to capture the wicked. The Lord will not reject His people; He will not abandon His special possession. Judgment will again be founded on justice, and those with virtuous hearts will pursue it.”  Psalm 94:12-15

Build a firm foundation. Build everything on the foundation of Jesus Christ. Read the Word, hear the Word, know the Word and obey the Word.

Are set apart for God. Remember, you are in the world but you are not of the world. Do not follow and pursue the people and the pleasures of this world.

Stay clean before the Lord. Do not involve yourself in sexual immorality, in drunkenness, in lewdness or in the occult. Beware of false religions and things that have been dedicated to idols for these things have curses attached to them.

Are Pursuing Holiness. God demands that we be Holy because He is Holy. Refrain from sin and make holiness a daily priority in your life.

Repent. If you do sin, repent immediately and make repentance a daily priority in your life.

Pray. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 tells us: “Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.” Make prayer a daily priority in your life.

Child of God, brace yourself then stand firm on the foundation of Jesus.

God is calling you… He is always speaking to those whose ears will hear Him. God declares His divine nature and magnificent power to His children through all that is experienced in the Heavens, on the Earth and throughout life itself.

God goes through great lengths to communicate with you. In His desire to commune with you and be in relationship you, He is calling out to you. God calls you to come closer to Him so that you may know Him and love Him more intimately. God calls you to receive His son, Jesus Christ, who in turn calls you to receive His saving grace, His Holy Spirit and eternity spent with Him in Heaven. God calls you into service so that He may work with you and through you for the purpose of accomplishing His glorious Will on earth.

God is the Author of life and Creator of the universe. The Heavens declare His glory and the Earth demonstrates His handiwork for all to see. It is impossible to look around you, above you or below you and not see God’s fingerprints or hear God’s voice. His Self-proclaiming witness calls out to all the world to stop, look and listen for Him. EVERYTHING bears witness to the fact that He is the One and only Almighty God.

“The Heavens declare the glory of God and the firmament shows His handiwork. Day unto day utters speech, and night unto night reveals knowledge. There is no speech nor language where Their voice is not heard. Their line has gone out through all the Earth and Their words to the end of the world.” Psalm 19:1-4

After the Universal Call to all comes a call to God’s people. Thsee people are called Believers who believe and receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Believers are called for the Great Commission which is a call for the disciples of Jesus to share His Gospel message with the nations.

Believers are those who have been pre-destined by God to be children of God. When new Believers hear the Word, they are called to repent of their sin, receive the Holy Spirit, develop a relationship with God, grow their faith, strive to be Holy, share their testimony with others and obey God at all costs. This cycle continues for all Believers until God calls His children home.

“Go and make disciples of all nations.” Matthew 28:19

“And this Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations and then the end will come.” Matthew 24:14

“And they (Believers) overcame him (Satan) by the blood of the Lamb (Jesus) and by the word of their testimony.” Revelations 12:11

After the Invitational Call, comes one that is more specific. This is a call that is made within the body of Believers who are also called the body of Christ who are also called the Church. This call is made to those who have been chosen, pre-ordained and annointed by God to execute a certain work within the Church for the purpose of teaching, training and edification. These people are called the ‘elect’.

“Many are called, but few are chosen.” Matthew 22:14

“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God,…” Ephesians 4:11-12

For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.” Romans 8:29-30

In spite of all that God reveals to bear witness to His Word, to His Son and to His Glory, there are still those who refuse to see and hear God’s Truth. Thesee people are considered by God to be believers of the enemy. God still uses these people, however, He uses them as objects of wrath. Thinking themselves wise, thesee people have become fools. Their minds have been darkened and their hearts are hard. God will have no mercy for them. They will have no excuse for though they know of God, they choose to not glorify God. His wrath will burn hot against them.

“For the wrath of God is revealed from Heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God IS manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man — and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.” Romans 1:20

It is only by the calling of God that one can be saved. For in this calling, only God can open spiritual eyes that receive the wisdom and revelation that is necesssary to understand the things of God.

“And He (Jesus) said, “Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by My Father.” John 6:65

“Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.” Ephesians 1:15-21

  • Do you see and hear signs of God all around you?
  • Do you desire a closer relationship with God?
  • Do you have a desire to know and understand the Word of God?
  • Do you recognize that life must consist of more than self-pleasure and a collection of stuff?
  • Does life as usual no longer satisfy you?
  • Do you experience a conviction of sin?
  • Do you want to be free of sin in your life?
  • Do you want to be saved from the penalty of sin which is death?
  • Do you experience a more heightened interest in spiritual things?
  • Do you sense that there is a greater purpose for your life?

wheat-weedsThe livelihood of a wheat farmer depends greatly upon the quality of their crop. If someone wanted to sabotage a farmer’s business, one way to do it would be to maliciously sow seeds of destructive weeds in among the wheat as this would affect the integrity of their crop.

In the Bible, Jesus told the Parable of The Wheat & The Tares (Weeds), to a multitude of people comparin it to the Kingdom of Heaven:

“The Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares (weeds) among the wheat and went his way. But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares (weeds) also appeared. So the servants of the owner came and said to him, “Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares (weeds)?” He said to them, “An enemy has done this.” The servants said to him, “You want us then to go and gather them up?” But he said, “No, lest while you gather up the tares (weeds) you also uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, ‘First gather together the tares (weeds) and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.'” Matthew 13:24-30

Jesus later gave the meaning of this Parable to His disciples as it is explained below:

“Then Jesus sent the multitude away and went into the house. And His disciples came to Him, saying, “Explain to us the parable of the tares (weeds) of the field.” He answered and said to them: “He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man (Jesus). The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the Kingdom, but the tares (weeds) are the sons of the wicked one (Satan). The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels. Therefore as the tares (weeds) are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age. The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His Kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the Kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!” Matthew 13: 36-43

Your enemy today, as it was in Jesus’ time, is still Satan. His age-old goal is, and always has been, to try his best to do everything he csn to oppose Jesus Christ. One of his most successful tactics is to compromise the integrity of Christ’s work by ‘planting’ false Believers and teachers into the world for the purpose of deceiving and misleading as many as he can. Those who fall prey to Satan’s traps are used to discredit, distort and mock God’s Word causing many Believers to be led astray to their detriment.

There are many people in this world who claim to be ‘Christians’ even though their words and actions say otherwise. These ‘counterfeit’ Believers make it very difficult for legitimate Christians, as well as the rest of the world, to know who is truly serving Jesus Christ. This is why it is so important that you have your own personal relationship with the Lord.

Although it is good to have fellow-saints around us such as pastors, teachers, etc. for instruction and fellowship, you must not depend on others to define God’s Word or this walk for you. You must know it and live it for yourself.

According to His Parable, Jesus allows the ‘weeds’ to remain with the ‘wheat’ but, only for a time so as not to uproot the immature crop. Christians who are ‘young’ in the faith require time to grow and mature. During this growth period, a ‘young’ Believer could easily be mistaken for a non-Christian. Because of this, you must be careful not to judge your fellow-Christian if they are in error. Pray for them, disciple them and encourage them.

Certain weeds, especially in the early stages of growth, look very similar to wheat. Therefore, through the analogy of wheat and weeds growing in a field together, Jesus warns that what we perceive as a false Believer may, in fact, be an immature Believer. People come to the Lord at different ages and stages in their life. We must be mindful of this fact as we encounter people every day. Do not judge others but instead speak and act in love. Only God knows for sure. “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.  By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.” 1 John 4:1-3

There are no shortcuts in this walk. You must go the long and arduous distance alone. Pray often, spend as much time with the Lord as you can, study your Word to show yourself approved by God and always test the spirit in others. “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them.Matthew 7:15-20

At the point of Christ’s return, the angels have been appointed to gather together the ‘weeds’ of this world for they are to be cast into a fiery destruction for all eternity. The saints, on the other hand, will be gathered together to be with Jesus. This walk is not an easy one but it is well worth it. Being transformed into the image of Christ will require time, sacrifice, discipline and some suffering too. This process of molding and purifying is not comfortable, yet all who truly love the Lord will have to go through it.

As you make your way through this journey, walk slowly without blinders. Look around you and be mindful of others. God is doing a work in their lives as well. The difference we make in the lives of others is a big part of why we are here. We ALL have an interactive job to do. It is given for some to plant and for others to water. Only God causes the growth and reaps the Harvest, in His time. Until then, be faithful, loving and obedient, in Jesus’ name.

As a child of God, you have been given keys to the Kingdom that give you the ability to bind (forbid) and loose (permit) powerful forces operating within the spiritual realm, in Jesus’ name. Are you walking in your authority?

God spoke the world, and everything in it, into existence by the power of His word. God made man in His image therefore our words also hold power. Our words do more than relay information. They stir up the spirit within us and cause change to happen within the spiritual realm. In essence, we are what we say and we will reap what we sew through our words.

” A man’s stomach shall be satisfied from the fruit of his mouth; from the produce of his lips he shall be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” Proverbs 18:20-21

Understanding the spiritual principles that govern your words is vital and necesssary for powerful and effective prayer. Knowing what to say and what not to say can make the difference between receiving the blessings God has for you and retreiving self-pronounced curses that you speak over yourself. With your words, you will build up or you will tear down. With your words, you will affirm or afflict.

” There is one whose rash words are like sword thrusts, but the tongue of the wise bring healing.” Proverbs 12:18

Be careful about what you say. Your words carry more weight than you may realize. Your words will either confirm you or convict you in the presence of the Lord. For on Judgment Day, God will hold you accountable for every word your lips have ever spoken concerning yourself as well as others. By your words, you will either be justified or condemned.

“I tell you on the Day of Judgment, people will give account for every careless word they speak.” Matthew 12:36

As a child of God, you have been given the authority and the power to bind anything that comes against you and the plan God has for your life. Likewise, you have also been given the authority and the power to loose whatever has been bound by the enemy from benefiting and blessing you – all this in the name of Jesus.

“And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades (Hell) shall not prevail against it. And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in Heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in Heaven.” Matthew 16:18-19

When you pray about a situation that is affecting you or yours, take authority over it as led by the Holy Spirit thereby causing change to manifest. This is the principal behind binding and loosing.  A child of God who prays with this principle in mind will yield great power and miraculous results.

“The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.” James 5:16

Not long ago, I had a conversation with a friend who shared with me a time when he and his family took authority over a life and death situation and watched as God delivered an amazing miracle on behalf of their prayers.

During a season when wildfires are common in California, my friend learned that his son’s home was dangerously close to being destroyed. He and his family decided to pray an extraordinary prayer on his son’s behalf. Instead of simply praying for the safety of his son and his home, they went a step beyond. He and his family embraced the authority that was given to them by Jesus Christ…

My friend and his family prayed to bind the oxygen that surrounded the fire that threatened the home while and prayed to loose the chemical formation of H2O (water) in its place. Miraculously, changes took place in the atmosphere surrounding the wildfire and it began to rain – as well as snow – and the fire was put out! Needless to say, all was well with his son and his home. Praise God!

God honors the prayers of His people who honor Him by believing His word and taking the authority that He has given them and using it to dynamically affect their circumstances. You can do the same.

Heavenly Father, by the authority given to me by my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, I bind doubt and anything else that hinders Your children from believing and speaking forth powerful words that activate the supernatural power of prayer in their lives. I loose within them the faith they need to believe that they have the authority to boldly speak forth words of affirmation, abundance, productivity and fruitfulness into their lives and the lives of their loved ones, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

godly-parenting-family-article-witicles-olabisi-ajayi“The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world.”

Parents, the influence you have over your children is not one to be taken lightly for ‘the fruit rarely falls far from the tree.’

Child of God, you have been given the privilege and the responsibility of raising, guiding and training your children up according to the Word of the Lord. You will be held to an account for it by God.

Teach your children what it means to know and follow God’s Word at a very young age so their feet will be firmly planted on the Rock who will hold them steady in a world that desires to sift them. Your children have an enemy who is committed to doing whatever he can to destroy them. He wants to steal everything God has for them.

Teach your children to line their thoughts, their decisions and everything they will come to know in this world up against the Word of God. This will encourage them to think for themselves in a world that tries to think for them. This will train them for the leadership role God will soon reveal to them.

Teach your children that right and wrong is based in the infallible Word of God. It is absolute and should be their standard for everything they do and every decision they make in life. The world programs its own to believe that ‘truth’ is a relative term subject to one’s opinion. Teach your children the real Truth… while you still can.

Soon your child will reach the age of accountability. This is the age when God will hold him or her alone accountable for what they believe and do.  Although many believe the age of accountability to be twelve years, it is actually different for every child for God looks into the heart tof determine this. It has nothing to do with the amount of time they have been on this Earth. God knows the exact moment your child will come into the knowledge and the understanding of what is good and what is evil. At that designated age, God will hold your child fully accountable for the decisions they make in life and concerning their walk with Jesus. Each child will have to come to the Lord on their own merrits and completely independent of anyone else – including their parents.

Parents, there are children IN hell. Do your part to keep your child OUT.

God tells His people to teach His Word to their children so that the generations to come – including those who are yet to be born – will come into the knowledge of Him and His Word. This is so that we will set our hope anew on Him, so that we will not forget His glorious miracles and so that we will remain in obedience to Him, forever. (Psalm 78:5-7)

When we obey Gods commands concerning our children, God gives us the promise of HOPE. He promises us that if we train them up according to His ways and His wisdom and direct them onto the straight and narrow path that leads them to Him, “when they are old” they will not depart from Him.

Raising godly children is a sobering responsibility not to be taken lightly – but instead prayerfully, obediently and in full submission to Almighty God.

On Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 2:30AM, God gave me a message to deliver to His Church. This message came in a dream. Due to the urgency of this message, I am reposting this dream…

Child of God, be assured that surely soon there will come a time of utter destruction. Not only was this dream a warning of this time that is sure to come, it is also a message that demonstrates God’s sovereignty and provision through it all for those he calls HIS OWN. In this dream, God reminds us that He is – and always will be – in control regardless of what we see and what we hear from those who believe they hold the power in this world. Child of God, be encouraged for He promises to protect us and provide for us through it all IF we are mindful to BELIEVE IN HIM, TRUST HIM & OBEY HIS EVERY COMMAND to the very end. I pray that you heed this warning.

In this dream, I was walking alone through a vast and desolate land. The land was barren as far as I could see. As I continued to walk, to my left suddenly appeared an army of soldiers on horseback. They were racing forward with swords drawn as if  running towards a battle. As I looked at the army, the Lord made it known to me that this was the world’s army. He impressed upon me the power and the control that this army represents to the people in this world. I was also made aware of the fear this army has imposed on the people for destruction is rumored to come by its hand. However, when I looked upon this army, I felt no fear or ties to it for I am not of this world, so I continued to walk.

Suddenly, to the left of the world’s army appeared another Army. This Army were also on horseback racing forward with swords drawn as if running into battle. However, I saw that this Army was different for it was an invisible Army. The Lord made it known to me that this was a spiritual army – not one made visible to everyone – and yet I could clearly see this Army. It was made known to me that this was a supernatural Army for this was God’s Army! Then, I saw a few of the soldiers from the world’s army turn to their left and look upon God’s Army for they were also able to see. I was reminded of Satan  and his evil kingdom who temporarily rule this world. Then, the few who could see turned away and dismissed God’s Army for they disregard the Holy things of God.

As I looked upon God’s Army, I immediately felt a quickening in my spirit and a sense of urgency. The Lord impressed upon me to immediately run to seek shelter and safety for destruction was sure to come. True destruction would not come at the hands of the world’s army, but instead  it will come at the hands of God’s Army! It was made known to me that this destruction was imminent and at hand!

As I turned to my right, immediately there appeared a small building that had not been there before. It was impressed upon me to run towards it, so I began to run as fast as I could. As I approached the building, I was tempted to hesitate for I feared that the door to the building would be locked. Still, I continued to run towards the building. I ran up the steps and turned the handle on the door and to my surprise, the door was unlocked so I opened it and went inside. Once inside the building, it was impressed upon me to run quickly up the stairs to the top floor. The moment my feet reached the top I heard a massive explosion. At that moment, it was made known to me that everything outside of that building had been destroyed. As I looked at the people on the lower level of the building, I saw that many had been gravely injured and some had even been killed.

Then, I knew that God had delivered me through it all…

It was impressed upon me that God, alone, had given me the revelation concerning the two armies. It was impressed upon me that God, alone, had prompted me to run , and not walk,  to seek shelter.  It was impressed upon me that God, alone, had delivered the provision that was not seen there before. It was impressed upon me that God, alone, had opened the door that I feared was locked. It was impressed upon me that God, alone, had directed me to quickly run to the very top of the stairs and not remain at the bottom.

Then, it was made known to me that had I not believed all that had been revealed to me in the vision concerning the two armies, I would not have survived. It was made known to me that had I not followed the urging of the Lord to run – and not walk – to seek shelter in the building, I would not have survived. It was made known to me that had I doubted God’s ability to open what I feared to be locked, I would not have survived. It was made known to me that had I not obeyed God’s instructions to run to the top floor and not remain on the bottom – I would not have survived.

After I saw all these things, it was impressed upon me that I am not to fear those who believe they have power in this world, for greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world.

All these things were made known to me and I was reminded that EVERYTHING is, and always will be, in God’s hands and under God’s control – regardless of what we see with our natural eyes. Child of God, there is no need to worry about all the many obstacles that are placed before us by the enemy. For we have one responsibility that trumps it all: Trust God and obey His every word.

This message is for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear…

When I entered into a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ thirty years ago, I was naive about many things concerning God. Quite simply, I believed that once I haf given my life over to the Lord, He would wave an invisible magic wand over me causing me and my life to immediately become “blessed” by being trouble-free. When things did not go as I imagined it would, I was confused and disappointed. Not only did my life NOT become trouble free, I experienced even more trials and challenges.

Having not been discipled  by someone who had walked this walk before me, I did not understand that once you become a child of God, you immediately become an enemy of Satan’s.

There is spiritual warfare taking place all around us. For most, it cannot be seen with our physical eyes for it exists in the spiritual realm. The war is between two kingdoms – the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of Satan. To live in this world as a Christian and not recognize this reality is a dangerous disadvantage to say the least for this battle is being fought to the death.

Spiritual warfare is not a battle that can be fought in the natural. As God has a Kingdom, Satan also has a kingdom and it is not to be underestimated.

Satan is a counterfeit. The entirety of his existence in this world is based on replicating and mocking God. He began in the Heavenly realm in service to God almighty, therefore he had an excellent model to copy. When Lucifer was cast out of Heaven, he took with him one third of the Angels that we now call demons. Lucifer became Satan and operated his kingdom in the second heaven situated above the Earth and below God’s Glory.

Satan is a master of deception therefore he set up a highly organized, structured kingdom modeled after the Kingdom of God complete with principalities (kings, princes, etc.) that govern over countries, states, cities, neighborhoods, nationalities and even people.

In the spiritual realm, Satan’s kingdom battles for control of our souls. Each true follower of Jesus Christ bares the mark of God which is seen by those who are under the rule of Satan. The world may be fooled by the false Christian, but in the spiritual realm all truth is revealed. Child of God, never forget that you are the prime target of Satan and all of his minions.

Beloved, we are at war! Satan, demons, evil spirits of all ranks and even people on this Earth who are committed to serving evil are aiming their efforts for destruction at you. You must fight! God demands and has equipped you to do just that. In this, be strong, be resolute and be encouraged for Jesus has already defeated Satan’s kingdom and has won this war.

When we believe and respond only to what we are capable of experiencing in the natural, we render ourselves dysfunctional as Christians. When we do this not only are we limiting ourselves, we are limiting God for the Lord moves according to our faith.

Christians who say they believe and yet are living their lives according to their own version of Christianity, and not according to the Word of God, will LOSE this war. You cannot fight on your own terms or in your own power.

The Bible tells us that we must put on the whole armor of God in order to withstand the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). “Stand your ground putting on the Belt of Truth and the Body Armor of God’s righteousness. For shoes put on the Peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. In addition to all of these, hold up the Shield of Faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. Put on Salvation as your Helmet and take the Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. Pray at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all Believers everywhere. Ephesians 6:14-18

Read your Bible! Know your Bible! Live your Bible! Regardless of what church you may attend, you cannot trust the translation of the Word of God to anyone. God will speak to you concerning his Word. You will be held responsible for every step you take in your own walk.

Study your Word and do your homework. You can be sure that Satan has done his. Rest assured that he and his demons know everything about you. They know your strengths as well as your weaknesses. In fact, they count on your every flaw and will not hesitate to use all of them against you in their relentless pursuit to steal, kill and destroy you and your family.

You are the body of the Church. You, the Christian, are the sole enemy of Satan for the Church alone is the only entity powerful enough to defeat him and his kingdom. No one on this Earth has the ability and the power through Jesus Christ to do this but the Church. Jesus has commanded His disciples to occupy and subdue (Genesis 1:28) until He returns. If we, as the Church, do not stand up and fight on God’s behalf, who else will?

Jesus Christ is the greatest gift that will ever be given. He is the most extravagant gift you will ever receive. For a limited time only, He is extending His hand for you to follow Him. To follow Him is not to join a religion. To follow Him is to enter into an interactive,  one-on-one personal relationship with God almighty Himself.

There are many faiths and many religions in this world. Tell me what leader among them is the One and only virgin-born son of God? Who else has walked this Earth perfect and sinless? Who else has command over ALL the miracles? Who else rules over Satan and makes the demons tremble in fear at the sound of His name? Who else loves you so much that they gave themselves over to be brutally abused, mocked and crucified on a cross for you? Who else died and rose again to receive the victory over sin and death for you? Who else has ascended into Heaven to rule at the right hand of God? Who else is the Holy Groom who will return very soon to ransom His Bride who is His Church? Who else is God’s Word manifested? Who else will rule the Kingdom of God undefeated? Only One can make this claim. For only One is both Man and God unified. Only One. His name is Jesus, the Christ.

Will you receive this Gift as your very own?

The Answer: “HE IS…”

…And that day is coming very, very soon.

When Jesus returns, not only will He put a stop to ALL the evil and suffering in this world, He will put a stop to ALL who commits the evil and suffering in this world. This will include ALL who lie, who cheat, who steal, who murder, who covet, who lust, who are sexually immoral, who commit fornication, who commit adultery, who deceive, who slanders (smears one’s name), who are lascivious (who seek to cause inappropriate sexual desire), who are wicked, who are prideful, who are foolish, who are impure, who practice idolatry (worshiping something or someone other than God), who practice witchcraft (in all of its forms), who cause hostility, who cause strife, who are jealous, who have fits of anger, who cause rivalry, who cause conflict, who cause division, who envy, who commit drunkenness, who are selfish, who are greedy, who are arrogant, who are abusive (in all forms), who are disobedient to parents, who are ungrateful, who are unholy, who are merciless, who are slanderous, who have no self-control, who are brutal, who do not love what is good, who are treacherous, who are reckless, who are conceited, who are godless and those who deny Jesus Christ is Lord.

PEOPLE are the cause of all the suffering in the world.  God gave us a free will to make our own choices and decisions in life. Unfortunately, people misuse and abuse this freedom to cause pain and suffering to others in various ways. When evil came into the world, sin contaminated everyone and everything. Those in this world who have not received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, who transforms us from sinners, will continue to operate under the influence of evil to the very end.

Do you believe we are all truly ready for God to put a stop to the PEOPLE who cause the suffering in this world? Are you ready for that day? Are all of your loved ones ready for that day?

You see, God is tarrying for you. He is holding back His judgment, and His wrath, to give you and others time to repent. He is giving the people of this world time to turn from their sins and turn to Him. For when God finally signals the return of His son, Jesus Christ, He will eternally put an end to it all. When this happens, it will be a brand new day. The Kingdom of God will have come. Only then, what is good and those who are good, according to the Word of God, will remain. Only then, will Jesus Christ redeem and rule this world. Only then, will evil be annihilated and all the suffering in this world come to an end.

Unfortunately, the time that God is holding back from us also allows time for evil to continue in this world. And as long as there is evil in this world, there will continue to be suffering in this world. God is a just God. He allows the wheat and the weeds to grow up together until His appointed time of Harvest. When that time comes, what is of Him will be gathered, the rest will be thrown into the fire for God is righteous, Holy and sovereign. “…He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.” Matthew 5:45.

There will come a day, however, when righteousness and evil will be separated:

Jesus told the following story: “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a farmer who planted good seed in his field. But that night as the workers slept, his enemy came and planted weeds among the wheat, then slipped away. When the crop began to grow and produce grain, the weeds also grew. The farmer’s workers went to him and said, “Sir, the field where you planted that good seed is full of weeds! Where did they come from?” “An enemy has done this!” the farmer exclaimed. “Should we pull out the weeds?” they asked. “No,” he replied, “you’ll uproot the wheat if you do. Let both grow together until the harvest. Then I will tell the harvesters to sort out the weeds, tie them into bundles, and burn them, and to put the wheat in the barn.” Matthew 13:24-30

Jesus said, “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.” Matthew 24:42

Witchcraft. What comes to mind when you think of the word? A charming children’s book series? How about cutesy cartoon characters? Is there a magical movie in your memory? Do you get answers acquired from astrology? Or maybe you dabble in the dark and the demonic?

There are many who want you to believe that witchcraft, and all that is associated with it, is only harmless, make-believe magic that innocently sparks the dark side of your imagination. Truth be told, when you’return involved in ANY form of witchcraft, you open yourself up to Satan and you open the doors that welcome the demonic into your life.

When you play around with the demonic, you are not only giving Satan access to your life, but you are giving him access to the lives of your family and others who are around you as well.  You have then opened a portal that leads to demonic attacks, curses, influence, illness, disease, death and Hell.

It is no secret that Satan influences the media. He has his hands on the books that you read, the films that you watch and the propaganda you buy into. He is intentionally providing you with what the world calls innocent ‘fantasy’ and feeds it to you through ‘tales’ of enchantments, magic, sorcery, spells, wizardry and necromancy (communicating with the dead). He presents it all to you, and your children, for your (so-called) reading and viewing entertainment. However, for Christian, God sees witchcraft in any form as rebellion, deception and destruction.

There are many elements to witchcraft. There are some you are familiar with and some you may not be aware of. Once you discover the truth, you MUST avoid them all.

Satan, as you know, is the master counterfeiter. He attempts to destroy what is Godly and true by replacing it with what is evil and false. This has been his plan from the very beginning. This plan that led to his fall and banishment as well as the fall and banishment of a third of the angels from Heaven, was derived to kill, steal and destroy all that belongs to God. He does this by using everything within the limited amount of “power” God has given him to appeal to you and trap you.

Once your enemy has snared you, he accuses you and your sin to God then he ‘legally’ takes rightful spiritual ownership of your soul.  Satan always distorts the truth by using this world to make you believe in a lie. He taints what is good by convincing you to do evil. He perverts what is Holy by corrupting it in your eyes so that you will disrespect and dishonor what is godly.

All forms of witchcraft are actually Satan’s attempt to imitate the Holy Spirit, who is the embodiment of Godly power in action. Church, don’t be fooled.

Witchcraft has been around since the beginning of time. It is known as the ‘old religion’ and is rooted in the old English term, ‘wiccian’ which means ‘to practice magical arts.’ Those who practice it are considered witches and possess a spirit of divination. Witches can be either male or female.

The old, stereotypical witch with their proverbial warts, pointed hats and broomsticks are a far cry from reality. Media has done a great job distracting you from the truth. The reality is that it is nearly impossible to identify a real witch based on their outward appearance alone. To add to this deception, their popularity is fed by an intrigued and the appealing mystique of the supernatural – thanks to the media.

This facade has allowed those associated with witchcraft to easily assimilate into mainstream society as they are greeted with welcoming arms by those eager to learn more. There is nothing good about witchcraft and yet the false belief that there are good and bad witches has helped Hollywood to encourage practicing it and promoting it. All this aside, you must never lose sight of the truth which is that ALL witchcraft is evil as well as ALL who practice it. For witchcraft and witches have ALL been spawned from the worship of Satan.

Witchcraft comes in many forms and its evils are released through many avenues. We can recognize many of its forms today through the practice of astrology, the casting of spells, charms, curses, channeling, divination (seeking knowledge of the future), enchantments, familiar spirits, fortune-telling, mixing potions, séances, spirit guides, spiritualism, tarot cards and teacup readings, to name some. However, witchcraft comes in many other disguises as well. Let’s delve into this subject a little further.

As Christians, when we acknowledge the universe, and all that is in it, it is impossible to do so without an expression of awe and reverence to God for in them we see His infinitude, His power and His wisdom. God created it all. So, what does He have to say about our use, or abuse, of what He has created?

King David said: When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained, what is man that You are mindful of him…” Psalm 8:3-4 (NKJV).The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork.” Psalms 19:1 (NKJV).He counts the number of the stars; He calls them all by name. Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite.” Psalms 147:4-5.

The Bible tells us that the stars, the sun and the moon were placed to light the earth and to determine the seasons. Then God said, “Let lights appear in the sky to separate the day from the night. Let them be signs to mark the seasons, days, and years. Let these lights in the sky shine down on the earth.” And that is what happened. God made two great lights – the larger one to govern the day, and the smaller one to govern the night. He also made the stars. God set these lights in the sky to light the earth, to govern the day and night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good.” Genesis 1:14-18.

Throughout history, the stars, sun and moon were also used to help navigate the course of travel. This is acceptable use of God’s heavenly creations. In biblical times, God even used the stars to illustrate the innumerable amount of seed He had promised to give Abraham. Then He brought him (Abraham) outside and said, “Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.” Genesis 15:5. Following the promise God made to Abraham, every time he would look to the Heavens and see the stars, Abraham was reminded of how faithful and how good God is.

Astrology which is the study of celestial bodies and the influence they have on human affairs and the natural world was actually introduced to man by Satan. This practice was given to encourage a false belief that deceives man into believing that we are able to seek sources, other than God, for knowledge, information and wisdom which in turn eliminates our need for God and serves to elevate man and his abilities. This belief system creates false idols/idolatry which is sin.

In Biblical times, when the royal astrologers of the Babylonian court tried to use their “power” to interpret the king‘s dream, they were found powerless and were put to shame by Daniel, who was God’s prophet. Daniel answered in the presence of the king, and said, “The secret which the king has demanded, the wise men, the astrologers, the magicians, and the soothsayers cannot declare to the king. But there is a God in Heaven who reveals secrets, and He has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will be in the latter days.” Daniel 2:27-28

According to the word of God, astrology is considered a form of divination and is forbidden. There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritualist, or one who calls up the dead. For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord,” Deuteronomy 18:10-12.

According to the word of God, all who practice astrology will be among those who will be burned and destroyed in God’s judgement. All the advice you receive has made you tired. Where are all your astrologers, those stargazers who make predictions each month? Let them stand up and save you from what the future holds. But they are like straw burning in a fire; they cannot save themselves from the flame. You will get no help from them at all; their hearth is no place to sit for warmth. And all your friends, those with whom you’ve done business since childhood, will go their own ways, turning a deaf ear to your cries.” Isaiah 47:13-15.

God forbids us from worshiping or serving the sun, the moon or the stars. When the children of Israel chose to do these things, their disobedience brought God’s judgement down upon them every time. “And take heed, lest you lift your eyes to heaven, and when you see the sun, the moon, and the stars, all the host of heaven, you feel driven to worship them and serve them,”  Deuteronomy 4:19.

True knowledge and wisdom comes from no other source but God. He alone determines what will take place today tomorrow and tomorrow. He has given us His Word and the Holy Spirit to guide us. We should seek onky Him for all answers to all questions, all the time.

Be careful of activities that are rooted in Hinduism, Buddhism and Taoism as they conflict with the teachings of Jesus Christ. In fact, the belief system behind these pagan religions is a form of spiritualism. It convinces those who believe and follow it that they are placing themselves on a pathway that leads to “spiritual enlightenment.” This demonic philosophy teaches that the power of God is not absolute for everyone has the ability to tap into and possess “power.” Any “power” that anyone seeks that does not come from God and is not rooted in Jesus Christ is demonic and evil.

Those who engage in these practices will be placed on a path. But it is not the kind of path they may think it is. This path will lead them into a dark and deceptive alley that will turn them away from the Light of God.

Yoga is another form of spiritualism. It is an element of one of the world’s oldest idolatrous pagan religion called Hinduism. Unsuspecting people believe yoga to be a harmless physical exercise with a spiritual component when, in fact, it is a harmful spiritual exercise with a physical component. Many believe that yoga is nothing more than an exercise program that encourages stress-free bodily flexibility that is enhanced by a mental ‘stimulation’ that connects you to a higher “power.” They are mistaken. There are false spiritual connotations hidden deep beneath the surface. I share with you the following experience of one who discovered this first-hand:

“A Hindu named Patanjali is believed by many historians to be the “father” of yoga. He codified his understanding of yoga in The Yoga Sutra of Patanjali sometime before the birth of Jesus. Patanjali’s teachings are known as the “eightfold path of yoga” and are at the core of how to live a better life through yoga. Patanjali believed that union (through meditation) with the “Supreme” (not Jesus Christ) was the result of retraining, controlling and eventually annihilating the ego. He believed that yoga was the way to overcome the many obstacles of a mortal uniting with the immortal. Without realizing it, I was learning how to live a better life and become a better person through yoga rather than through Jesus Christ. As it turned out, meditation (yoga) did put me on a pathway, but it wasn’t to spiritual enlightenment. After five years of training, I became an atheist…Mark McGee.

[Mark McGee is a journalist and former atheist. He taught martial arts for 50 years and was a student of Eastern philosophies before becoming an atheist. Mark became a Christian after investigating evidence for the truth and verifying the claims of Christianity more than 40 years ago. He became a member of Judo and Karate for Christ in 1972 and now teaches martial arts from a Christian perspective.]

Other spiritualistic programs like Judo, Aikido, Karate and Kung Fu introduce people to other eastern philosophies such as Buddhism. It is believed that the primary focus of Buddhism is to practice “right living” through actions and meditation in an effort to end suffering and help one achieve a self-awakening. The philosophies behind Hinduism, Buddhism and Taoism always begin with meditation. Meditation is the practice of training the mind, or inducing a level of consciousness, for a pre-determined purpose. “Guides” are often used to help students calm their minds and relax their bodies so that they can allow their internal “power” to flow through to their external. Buddhism teaches that the deeper you go in meditation, the better your martial arts technique will be. What kind of “power” do you think is being accessed through this meditation? Certainly not the power of the Holy Spirit which can only be accessed through Jesus Christ.

Spiritualism is the belief, and the practice, of communication with spirits and the dead. Spiritualism, and all its forms, is in fact, witchcraft. It is also a form of idolatry as it encourages one to focus on selfish pursuit as opposed to Christianity that focuses on Jesus Christ and the pursuit of God.

Spiritualism falsely teaches that people are fundamentally good and can accomplish whatever they want if only they will focus their minds to doing so. This is contrary to truth, according to God. “Jesus answered. No one is good except God Alone.” Luke 18:19

People are born with a sin nature. This nature is ruled by the flesh which aims to destroy the body if left to its own devices. However, through Jesus Christ, we are saved from that sin. Through Him, God sends the Holy Spirit who dwells in us and enables us to operate in true power, not a counterfeit form of satanic “power.”

Those who pursue the practice of spiritualism are actually engaging in activities that may appear to be innocent yet are far from it. This sin opens the door for demonic contact, harassment, oppression and even possession. There are many accounts of those whose have practiced forms of spiritualism which has resulted in their being traumatized emotionally, psychologically and physically by contact with demons.

If you seek truth, there is only one way to get it. His name is Jesus Christ. “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6.

As a Christian, I am sure you would never be in contact with pentagrams, Ouija boards, satanic rituals or the drinking of blood. I am also sure none of you would ever seek out a psychic, hold a séance or attempt to cast spells. Or would you?

And the Lord warned: “When you enter the land the LORD your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there. Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD, and because of these detestable practices the LORD your God will drive out those nations before you. You must be blameless before the LORD your God. The nations you will dispossess listen to those who practice sorcery or divination. But as for you, the LORD your God has not permitted you to do so.” Deuteronomy 18:9-14.

Since the beginning of time, there have been many who have succumbed to Satan through the partnership of sex and witchcraft. Through idolatry, rebellion, seduction and whoredom, this combination has snared those from early Biblical times up to the current. The combination of sexual activity and the occult have been prevalent throughout time through the cultures and throughout different religions. Sexual immorality has been, and is still, a key element of pagan worship and satanism, including witchcraft.

Today, Satan has attempted to cover the sin of sexual immorality by replacing it with society-acceptable words and phrases like ‘sexy,’ ‘addiction,’ ‘weakness,’ ‘struggle,’ ‘pornography,’ ‘adult entertainment,’ ‘normal’ and ‘sex drive.’ Society has embraced these terms and has even made some of them desirable. This is deception in its most deadliest of forms. It is what it is – sexual immorality.

The Christian Church consists of a body of Believers. God considers each one of those bodies to be a temple of the Holy Spirit. Because God paid an exorbitant price for you through the sacrifice of His son, Jesus Christ, we are to honor God with our bodies. We do this by refraining from sexual sins.  Run from sexual sin! No other sin so clearly affects the body as this one does. For sexual immorality is a sin against your own body. Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself; for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body.” 1 Corinthians 6:18-20

Immoral and perverted sex acts were, and still are, performed in the temples of false gods for pagan idol worship. When our bodies take part in sexual sins, we are emulating these acts and violating God’s Holy temple. God considers this behavior detestable. Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people – none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God.” 1 Corinthians 6:9-10.

Sex is a gift designed by God given to one man and one woman who are committed to each other in a sanctified married relationship. To participate in sex outside of those boundaries is to sin. Although many may feel that consensual sex between two people are their business and no one else’s, we must remember that our bodies, and our sexuality, were created by God. Therefore, it is His business. He alone has the right to establish the parameters by which we are to use them. “Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.” Colossians 3:5 (NLT)

“And it came to pass, when Joram saw Jehu, that he said, “Is it peace, Jehu?” And he answered, “What peace, so long as the whoredoms of thy mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts are so many?” 2 Kings 9:22

Jezebel… She was a treacherous, domineering idolator and a corrupting schemer. This was definitely not a woman of restraint or high principles. Savage and relentless, this prideful, strong-willed woman ruthlessly carried out her foul plans. The great sins of Jezebel also included whoredom, for by ways of adultery, fornication, prostitution, debasement and sexual sins of all sorts, she defiled herself to further the cause of evil. Through her sinful deeds, she became the mother of all curses. This whoredom spirit is a worldly spirit and is grounded in carnality and sensuality. The spirit has no problem using sex to get what it wants.

As a Christian and as part of God’s Church, you are a target. You have high-level evil spirits working against you always waiting for an opportunity to gain entrance into your life. If you use flirtatious, sexual wiles for the purpose of controlling, manipulating and serving self, you may be being used by one of the most powerful spirits Satan has at his disposal. This would be the Jezebel spirit, a spirit of seduction and whoredom.

The Bible records the many, many times that Israel turned their backs on God. There are numerous accounts of their continuous rebellion through acts of sexual immorality and the worshipping of false gods. In the book of Hosea, God angrily tells Israel that they have a spirit of whoredom: My people inquire of a piece of wood, and their walking staff gives them oracles. For a spirit of whoredom has led them astray, and they have left their God to play the whore.” Hosea 4:12 (ESV).

What did God mean by this? To “inquire of a piece of wood” refers to the wooden idol they were worshipping and “their walking staff gives them oracles” refers to the false wisdom they claimed to receive from this false god. When Israel turned their backs on God and began to worship other things, God charged them as being unfaithful and likened it to spiritual “adultery.”

Satan-inspired evil spirits use sin to cleverly gain entrance into the lives of people thereby causing them to chase after what is alluring and tempting to them. If people succumb to this sin, it will easily become stumbling blocks that can turn them away from God. This sin becomes an idol that people chase after and worship. God condemns idolatry in every form.

But just as God called Israel to repentance, He calls us to turn away from such things and return to Him.  He offers to forgive us our sin and enter into a restorative relationship with Him. Do it now!

We have covered much today in the name of witchcraft. If you were not already aware of these things, you are now informed. God will hold you accountable. To be ignorant of the truth is one thing, but to have knowledge of God’s Word and then choose to disobey it is considered blatant rebellion in God’s eyes. That is far worse. “For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the Holy commandment delivered unto them.” 2 Peter 2:21 (KJV)

As a Christian, it is never about what you or anyone else thinks or has to say about a matter. It is always about what Jesus has to say about it if you are overdose. If you are ever in doubt about anything in this life, seek out His Word and find the answer for yourself. To take any other stand is to live in disobedience and rebellion. Choose not to walk down that path. “For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the Word of the Lord, He also has rejected you…” 1 Samuel 15:23 (NKJV).

Death pathway

Death is the hand that will usher us out of dress rehearsal where we practice ‘living’ into the eternal performance of a lifetime. Lights! Action! Are you ready?

I would like to share what has been on my heart for quite some time now. It concerns a subject that does not venture too far away from my mind these days. Although this may be considered a sensitive and somber topic by some, I believe it to be a crucial and necessary discussion for many. Let’s reflect upon our life as we live with the reality of DEATH…

Through our souls and spirits, we have ALL been created to live forever. However, our bodies are ALL going to die one day. Let’s face it, death is an inevitable part of life and even though we are always caught off guard by it when it happens to someone we care about, we must not ignore the fact that death will one day – possibly sooner than you think – happen to you.

In fact, you should consider death to be the most important event of your life. Why? Because it is only after we experience death in the natural realm that we will pass through the veil that separates this facade we call ‘life on Earth’ from the eternal reality that awaits us all in the spiritual realm.

Whether by way of old age, accident, illness or evil intent, we will all pass through that door. And, we will all have to go through it ALONE. When the time comes, there will be no favors to be bought nor will there be family or friends to help you through it. By your decisions alone, death will deliver you to sanctity or sorrow. God has determined that death is the unyielding price and the penalty of sin that MUST be paid – unless Jesus has cancelled this debt for you.

The question that should be on everyone’s mind is not when you are going to die but where your soul will go when you do. Where will you spend eternity? Those who did not live a life of compromise and who reverently lived for Jesus will spend eternity in Heavenly glory with Him. Those who rejected Him and who did not repent from their sin, will spend their eternity in a torturous Hell forever separated from God.

God has set a predetermined time for each of us to die. Regardless of our age or what is going on in our lives at the time, there will be nothing anyone can do to prevent it. Wherever you are in your standing with God at that very moment, your destiny with eternity will be set. It will be too late to change directions from the narrow path or wide road that your decisions placed you on.

When our loved ones die, we mourn because we miss their presence on this earth. However, in the midst of our mourning, there is hope and peace in knowing that we will see them again. Nothing hurts more than the reality of being eternally separated from those we love. We must share this gift of hope with others. We must let people know that in Jesus, it does not have to be this way. It is far better to know that even though we temporarily miss our loved ones, we will one day see them again.

If you are reading this, God has given you time to change the direction of your life. Not only will your decisions make all the difference in the world for you, it will make a difference in the lives of others who are following you and watching you. Child of God, continue to practice living well for Jesus. It is almost time for the Show!

We are all so interconnected and intertwined together within the fabric of God’s universal purpose that the minute one obeys Him, others immediately become affected.

As a Christian, you can expect to endure all manner of persecution on account of your faith. Because of this, you may find yourself being tempted to keep quiet about the word God has given you to share. Or you may want to guard God’s word in an effort to protect it from those you feel will not appreciate it.

Child of God, Satan will use everything, and everyone, to challenge your allegiance to God. And God will allow some of these trials as an opportunity for your growth as well as to strengthen your resolve. Some of these tests will cause controversial change in your life that will surely ruffle the feathers of many.

When this happens, and it will, what will you do? Will you rise to the challenge? Are you willing to risk it all to obey God and allow the consequential chips to fall where they may? Your response to each challenge placed before you will reveal just how much you are willing to pay to be in relationship with the Lord. However you choose to handle these tests of faith, your responses will never be a surprise to God.

Whether you finish or fail, God will use it all for His greater purpose and for your greater good. It is important for you to know that EVERY decision you make will result in either a penalty or a reward for you as well as for those around you. We ALL have to pay, in one way or the other, the high cost of obedience…

The Price Of Giving Up Self

Living for Christ is to die for Him. Living for Christ is to fully give over to Him your body, mind, heart and soul. This is impossible to do unless you have first crucified self. You will know when you have successfully done away with self for only then will you want nothing more than to strive to give your all for Jesus. “My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ (who) lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” Galatians 2:20

The Price Of Comfort

As a Christian, it will be necessary for you to step outside of your comfort zone. For you have an obligation to share God’s Word and your testimony with others. “I solemnly urge you in the presence of God and Christ Jesus, who will someday judge the living and the dead when He comes to set up His Kingdom: Preach the word of God. Be prepared, whether the time is favorable or not. Patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage your people with good teaching. For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. They will reject the truth and chase after myths. But you should keep a clear mind in every situation. Don’t be afraid of suffering for the Lord. Work at telling others the Good News, and fully carry out the ministry God has given you.” 2 Timothy 4:1-5.

“And they conquered him (Satan) by the blood of the Lamb (Jesus) and by the word of their testimony.” Revelation 12:11

The Price Of Demonstrating Love

Jesus was asked by one of His disciples: “Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?” Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.” Matthew 22:36-40 (NLT).

Many people confuse love with emotions and feelings. Love is not a feeling. Love is a decision that requires action to demonstrated. There is no better way to demonstrate love for someone than to share God’s Son with them.

The Price Of Consequences

Following Jesus WILL bring much change into your life. Following Jesus will also affect the lives of those who are closest to you. There is no way to avoid this. Remember, God has everything under control. He only requires your obedience and asks that you leave the consequences up to Him. “Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh, will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.” Galatians 6:7-8

The Price Of Time In God’s Word

God’s word is exciting and alive! However, you cannot discover this amazing truth if you do not spend time in it. You cannot live the word, teach the word or speak the word if you do not know the word. “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15

God’s word is a living demonstration of His power. It speaks of His law over everything in and outside of this world. God’s word also rules over each and every person, regardless of their belief in Him. “The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the, earth. They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry. It is the same with My word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.” Isaiah 55:10-11 (NLT).

God’s word always accomplishes that which it is sent out to do. It does not return void. His living word carries with it costs and consequences. The costs come in the form of sacrifices. The consequences come in the form of blessings and curses. “Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on Heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live! You can make this choice by loving the Lord your God, obeying Him, and committing yourself firmly to Him. This is the key to your life.” Deuteronomy 30:19-20 (NLT)

Are You Willing To Pay The Price?

Your obedience to God will require your willingness to give up plans, give up people and possibly even give up your life. Though many profess to love God, many are not willing to make the sacrifice required to follow Him. “Jesus was aware that His disciples were complaining, so He said to them, “Does this offend you? Then what will you think if you see the Son of Man ascend to heaven again? The Spirit alone gives eternal life. Human effort accomplishes nothing. And the very words I have spoken to you are spirit and life. But some of you do not believe Me.” (For Jesus knew from the beginning which ones didn’t believe, and He knew who would betray Him.) Then He said, “That is why I said that people can’t come to Me unless the Father gives them to Me.” At this point many of His disciples turned away and deserted Him. Then Jesus turned to the Twelve and asked, “Are you also going to leave?” John 6:61-67.

Are you willing to pay the price?

stages-300x300This was the question I asked myself thirty years ago when I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. You see, I was not raised in a church and did not own a Bible until I was 27 years old. There was no one around to disciple me and, honestly, I felt completely lost because there was so much I did not understand. Although I was excited about my brand new life as a Christian, I knew nothing about the things of God. My first few years as a Christian, I made so many mistakes. I realized years later that my transition could have been much easier if I had been discipled which is why I am sharing this message.

Allow me to be completely honest with you. Following Jesus Christ will be the most difficult and the most rewarding experience you will ever encounter in your life. The sad fact of the matter is that not everyone will be able to see it through to the end for many people come to Christ for many reasons. However, only those who are called by God will be able to contend to the end. The Bible tells us “You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The Highway to Hell is broad and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life (Heaven) is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it.” (Matthew 7:13-14)

Relationship is the key. To successfully live the life of a Believer, you must have an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. Two-way communication is mandatory for this journey.

So, what do you do now that you are a brand new Christian? If you haven’t already, first be sure that you get baptized…

Jesus tells us: “Most assuredly, I say to you unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God.” (John 3:5) Baptism represents the partaking of the burial and raising of Jesus Christ so that we, too, may walk in the newness of life. It is for this reason, we are told to repent AND be baptized in His name for the forgiveness of our sins. The Bible also tells us that the baptism allows us to “receive the gift of the Holy Spirit(Acts 2:38) who is our Helper though out this walk.

The first thing Jesus did before He began His ministry was to be baptized, (Luke 3:21-22). Where do you go to get baptized? Any true follower of Jesus Christ (Believer) is authorized, according to Jesus Christ, to baptize. “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen. (Matthew 28: 19-20)

Baptism can be done in a true, Jesus-following church and even in a bathtub within the home of a true believer. As followers of Jesus Christ, we are to follow His example. So regardless of where you get baptized, get baptized as soon as you can!

You cannot truly follow Jesus Christ if you do not understand who He is or know His word. “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17

There is no substitute for reading your bible. Begin immediately and do it every day. There are many translations available. Find one that is most faithful to the original text. I recommend beginning with the King James Version or the New King James Version. If you are sincere in seeking Him, God will unlock the mysteries of His word to you and give you understanding. Set aside time when and where you can meditate on Him without being interrupted. Quality and quantity go hand-in-hand when it comes to reading your Word. The Bible telIs us that we are to “study to show ourselves approved unto God, a workman who need not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word unto truth.” (2 Timothy 2:15). Remember this: God pursues those who pursue Him.

Jesus tells His followers to pray always without ceasing. Prayer, very simply, is talking to God just as you would talk to your very best friend for He is just that. In fact, you will find that He is the very best friend you will ever have. Talk to Him about everything. He cares about everything that concerns you. There is nothing too small or seemingly too insignificant that you can’t share with Him. Through prayer, you will be developing a very REAL and very intimate relationship with the true and living almighty, miraculous God. There’s nothing in the world like it.

My suggestion would be that you begin by praying every morning before you start your day and every evening before you go to bed. Also pray often throughout the day. Pray about everything. Pray for direction and guidance concerning every decision you make. Thank Him for all He has done, all He is doing and all He will do for you. Pray for others as well as yourself. If you find it difficult to find the words to pray, ask the Holy Spirit to guide your thoughts and He will. “When you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place, and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly you.” (Matthew 6:6)

The Christian life is not an easy life. As a true follower of Jesus Christ, you will be under constant attack and scrutiny from this world by way of Satan and his demons. As hard as it may be to understand this, know that this may even include your family members. It is good to fellowship with like-minded Christians. Jesus told His disciples that “A prophet is without honor only in his hometown, among his relatives, and in his own household.” Mark 6:4

You will need to be around those you trust for encouragement as well as correction. “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but encouraging one another and so much the more as you see the Day (of Jesus’ return) approaching.” (Hebrews 10:24-25)

Also be mindful that we, as Christians, are warned to not be unequally yoked with non-believers. “Do not be deceived: Evil company corrupts good habits.” (1 Corinthians 15:33)

As a new Christian, the Lord will begin a miraculous new work in you. You will go through a process that will transform you from the old you into the fabulous new you that God created you to be. Now, this transformation doesn’t usually happen over night. The process of molding and re-shaping you into the spiritual image of Jesus Christ takes a lifetime. A brand new Spirit has come alive in you for God has an amazing work for you to do. How exciting! “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” (Ephesians 2:10)

Through Jesus Christ, your Lord and Savior, you have received salvation. You can now stand alongside of Him and claim your inheritance to the Kingdom of God. Through Him, you now have the authority and the power that delivers healing and deliverance. You have access to the throne of the one and only living God. There is much God is going to tell you, do with you and show you so keep a journal and share your excitement whenever you have the opportunity.

It is through your testimony, and the testimony of others, that Jesus Christ will be shared throughout the world. It is also through your testimony that You share in the victory of overcoming Satan and the evil that is temporarily in this world. “And they (Christians) overcame him (Satan) by the blood of the Lamb (Jesus) and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” (Revelation 12:11)

As you continue in your faith and your walk, remember that there is nothing you have done that was deserving of this wonderful blessing that you have received through Jesus Christ. You have been saved by grace alone. Even still, God has started a work in you and His promise is to finish it. “Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;” (Philippians 1:6)

Only God knows the plans He has for you. Only God knows of your special call. Pray for the leading of the Holy Spirit to know it and then receive it by faith. Pray for spiritual sensitivity to hear Him so that you can obey His every word. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” Jeremiah 29:11

Now, welcome to the family and remember that in all things to God be all the glory!
